Response from Simhafarms, Owner at Simha Farms
Responded 1 week ago
Dear sachetsingh, Thanks for taking time review Simha Farms. After writing 3 reviews on Google reviews with 3 names with lies you have come here with organised lies. we want to clarify you below things which were explained on Google reviews. you had booked for 2 nights and wanted to cancel second nights stay within 4 hours of your first day's stay. We had to refuse it as was a peak season and our terms state that. Please admit that the real reason for your unhappiness is this and not any of the made up reasons you have mentioned. You are bringing the issue of food because you want to ruin our reputation in any way possible. And food will be the most believable reason. 1. Snacks are served between 5.00-p.m. and 7.30.p.m. depending upon the availability of kitchen and guest's request. dinner will be served till 10.p.m. You have eaten pakodas on first day and Aloo bhajjis on second day. There is no chance of recycling. We never recycle the leftovers. 2 & 3. Yes, we refused to cancel the breakfast charges. This is because our package includes all the 3 meals of the day we do not charge per meal basis. You have ordered the package and we prepared that. If you had informed earlier we wouldn't charge for it like the lunch charges we waived off for the first day or if you had genuine reasons we wouldn't have charged for that. You and your wife were angry for the reasons best known to you and simply raising your voice on everything. We insisted to pay because we want to gently covey you that charges can't be waived off just because you want to. Please note that you ate the breakfast after we insisted to pay for it. We are sure you wouldn't have eaten the breakfast if you were sure of the reason of your ill health is our food. This shows your double standards. 4. There is no mention of food poison in any other review. Please do not spread this false rumour. We politely remind you that it was your wife who was arrogant and rude during the time of check out and not any of us. Yes, we said that we eat the same food, we also said other guests have eaten the same food, even other members of your family have eaten the same food. This was said just to make sure that the food had no problem in it. We are surprised to see that you are offended by this. 5. Bed bugs- This is surely unethical even with your standards. Even in your google reviews this was not mentioned. Don't write outright lies. After reading our prompt replies you are adding complaints after complaints which was never occured or stated earlier anywhere. You are adding all the worst scenarios you can go through in a holiday. 6. We have attempted to bring wifi to our farm but due to issues with telephone operators, the wifi does not work. We have contacted almost all the telephone operators including Airtel and BSNL. We have installed signal boosters for emergency calls. All the guests who have come here know our attempts in bringing basic mobile connectivity. Please suggest us any method/technology to have wifi at our farm. We will be happy to install it. This is very important even for us as we can check mails and messages at the homestay. It’s amazing that you expect a local farmer to resolve issues related to government inefficiencies. And again, please do not write these lies, you personally paid the money to the cab driver at Mangalore. We do not take any commission from them. You could have called your driver who dropped you to our farm on the arriving day. Why didn't you call him? May be because he quoted more than our local cab driver? We value each and every opinion even though the feedbacks are negative. From the beginning we are taking guest's suggestion seriously. Most of the varieties in food and the room amenities are based on our guest's feedback. We never think we know everything or there is chance for errors. But your review is only from your point of view and full of lies. We are sorry that your holiday was not ideal. But please do not blame us for that, especially with false accusations and lies. Lastly, again we politely remind you that if you had a bit open for our suggestions to see the places around instead of complaining on every place we suggested your stay would have been nice. Please do visit again with a bit of explorer's mind, we are sure you will have a great time. Thanks, Adithya

A stay meant for nothing but to relax and eat. A beautiful farm with a nice little stream running nearby. We stayed at their Villa which was very spacious and had TV with adequate channels. I enjoyed their Malnad cuisine and we were adequately attended to by their staff. Aditya
