After visiting Udai Vilas in January,21I was so impressed by the Oberoi Hotel Group hospitality that I planned for my next trip to Wildflower Hall, Shimla in March 2021. Built on the ashes of a heritage property, this hotel offers you comfort and luxury at the same time. Beautifull interiors, breathtaking view, delicious food, hospitality that melts your heart Add them all together and that is Wildflower Hall for you. Some of the most unique things in this hotel are: 1 Outdoor Jacuzzi overlooking the Hills 2 Treks within the hotel area 3 Tennis court which converts to ice skating rink in winters Thanks Mr Vishal Virmani, GM for meeting us in person and ensuring that we had a memorable stay. Special shout out to the staff at the restaurant who ensured that our otherwise fussy eaters(kids) were always looking forward to the meal times. They even packed special treats for them on our way back to Airport. Oberoi group of Hotels is one place where the staff make sure your "Dil Never Maange More". …
spent 3 nights at this property-amazing stay the GM-Vishal and all the staff went out of the way to make us feel comfortable-I recommend the pvt picknic as well as the himachal thali dinner, the hotel is 7 star luxury and worth every penny
We spent 4 nights at Wildflower Hall and I am struggling to find the right words that would do justice to this resort and the pampering we got here. From the GM Mr Virmani to the trainees who were looking after our needs, all were thoroughly professional and most accommodating. We were celebrating my husband's 75th as well as my son's birthday. The hotel made it a truly memorable occasion for my family. It's the perfect place to celebrate special events. They are experts. There's lots to do within the hotel. Gym, spa, outdoor heated jacuzzi, mini theater, kid's entertainment, tennis, croquet,, archery and yummy food. You don't need to step out of the resort as nothing else can come up to the benchmark established by the Òberoi group. So, just enjoy and relax. Thank you Virmanì and thanks to your team. Thank you Prashant, Lalita and Digvijay. BRAVO!!! RACHANA PASRICHA ROOM 109…
Pros: The location is lovely. The hotel has a vintage feel with beautiful teak wood furniture, classical music playing in the background, stone arches and slate roofs like some fantasy castle. The service despite covid was spotty but mostly on target. When we asked for difficult to procure medicines, they managed to get it somehow. The jacuzzi and pool section is fabulous with a GREAT view. The hotel is well maintained and classy. Cons: Food is a real downer as it was basic. I don't think it was appropriate for a place that charges 30k rupees+ a night. Most of the times I didn't enjoy the breakfast spread. The chhole, akuri, the pav bhaji, etc was bland, cold and unfit for any five-star hotel. Some of the continental food like the ravioli and the tortelli was nice but typical. In contrast, similar hotels in India such as the Taj Rambagh and Lake Palace really impressed us with their gourmet food. Regarding the activities, we had asked if we should book in advance and they constantly told us to come there and then see. But after we landed there, the picnics were all sold out. Finally they relented and offered us some picnic spot but it left a bad taste in our mouth. It almost felt like they were not interested to coordinate the activities. The kids' activity room was basic. My son waited for an hour and nobody came to start the video game and they just started YouTube and left. If I had to make him watch YouTube, I would have done that in my own house. As more people come during these lockdowns, greater care should be taken to ensure people have a good but also SAFE experience. it felt like the front desk was reeling under the pressure of so many checkouts and check-ins at the same time.…
We’ve been to so many hotels across the country but never came across anything like the Wildflower Shimla! We stayed there in April ‘21 and were particularly impressed by the top class hospitality! The staff was so warm and the service was impeccable! Special mention to the chef that took such good care of us. Looking forward
