Detailed Reviews
True wilderness and seclusion is harder and harder to find these days in our beautiful country, but the Veue resort offers just that and in a very safe and luxurious manner. Spending three days and two nights there with my friends was a blast. We would swim in the serene beach while basking on the warm sunset. And then maybe we'd chill in the refreshing infinity pool at night after dinner which we prepared ourselves in the kitchen or with the outdoor grill. It was very quiet and there are wonderful tourist spots near the resort which we also visited. We all would've stayed another day had it not been for our school enlistment :)

Booking: Online via their website. They will also charge you the Php 2,500 deposit, which will be credited back to your account after your stay.
Location: Along the picturesque Patar Beach. It's at the far end of the dirt road beside G Resort.
Cabin: The cabins right in front of the beach are Malang and Kiukok Houses. The box houses have bare walls with glass sliding door and windows. The cabin has a king sized bed with sofa bed, and Satellite television. The small kitchen is equipped with fridge, stove, microwave, cooking and dining utensils. There is no phone but they provide radio telephone to relay messages to the caretakers. The bathroom was spacious though I have lots of comments regarding the bathroom (see below)
Pool: Enough size with equal depth of 4ft, good for kids to swim and play.
Staff: There is no front desk, just caretakers.
Comments/Suggestions/Tips:
- No mobile phone and wifi signals (good for relaxation but bad if you are waiting for important calls or messages during your stay)
- Not enough signages along the road going to the resort. We lost our GPS signal along the way so we asked the locals.
- It's better and I would suggest to bring your own car or arrange your transportation when going here as it is located far away from the main street.
- The beach area is well maintained and clean.
- There is a security hut and a spotlight at the beach front.
- Bring everything you need like food (yes, you can cook), dishwashing soap and sponge, and recreational stuff (especially if you are with your kids)
- I don't know if the caretakers know that we were coming but they did not ask for our name when we arrived.
- You can order food at G Resort and have them delivered at your cabin.
- Some of the kitchen utensils, such as the knife, shears and pans, are rusty.
- The horizontal window by the sofa bed was leaking when its raining.
- The bathroom lighting was dim.
- The sliding door going to the bathroom doesn't close properly because the door frame/jamb is not aligned.
- There is no lock in the sliding door going to the bathroom, so you should let people in your group know you're in there or else they'll see you naked. Also, you should lock the back door going to the bathroom.
- Heater was not working since there was not enough water pressure in the shower. My kid complained of cold water when taking a shower and it took her some time to rinse her hair.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay except for the comments I cited. We loved the isolated and relaxing atmosphere. We would definitely go back here and tag along our extended family.

Hello! Thank you very much for your detailed review. We are glad to hear about the many positive things you said about Veue Beach Cabins. Thank you also for pointing out some things we need to look out for. You'll be glad to know that as soon as you left, we also noticed the misaligned door (which is now fixed) as well as the moisture around the window which will be fixed by the time this writing is published. Kindly note that these are items that we could have taken care of on the spot for you if you informed our caretakers. Even pans can be changed and dishwashing liquid replenished. You can also ask the caretakers to freshen up your cabin, bathroom, or kitchen anytime. Also, our apologies for the water pressure issue at the time (which affected the hot water). This is now fixed with a new redundant system to prevent issues like this in the future. Our area in Patar Beach is a very rugged place and things need more maintenance due to the salty air and intense sun and rain (this time of year) but we are usually ready for most contingencies. Just ask us anytime :) For our check in process, once you book your cabin, our caretakers are sent a copy and are expecting you. As long as you arrive on or after check in time, and show your booking confirmation, you will be led straight to your cabin with no waiting time. This is why they did not need additional information from you when you checked in. Lastly, you may have missed the information on our website before you booked the cabins, as well as the information and Travel Preparation Kit that we sent you before your trip. This included design of the cabins, detailed directions, basic rules, the inclusions of your trip, stuff you can do there, plus some practicalities to help you enjoy your stay. Veue Beach Cabins is a unique destination with some nuances so we are very big on giving guests complete information on what to expect coming to Veue Beach Cabins. These are helpful and important information can help you should you decide to stay again the in future. Again thank you very much and we wish you all the very best.

My aunt visited 2 weeks ago and judging from the stories she told, I felt the need to go there and see it for myself and the pictures taken by my aunt it was such an isolated area but the cabins showed a modern structure but other parts of the resort had the classic filipino huts and as for the food it is a 9/10 for my aunt, "the steak and pasta was delicious" she said. After hearing all of this wonderful comments I cant wait to visit Veue Cabin resort

Thank you very much for the review! It was great meeting your aunt and her group, they were such wonderful guests! They took care of the cabins like it was their own...wow! Just a quick disclaimer, that particular steak and pasta is not in the menu...it was our personal meal that we shared with them because they were such nice ladies. It was great having them to share a meal and some laughs :) We look forward to seeing you guys soon! All the best!

...if you don't mind a 5-ish hour drive/ride there with bumpy, undeveloped roads. I thought it was worth it though. The place is thankfully not nipa hut inspired ( sorry but I am sick and tired of those already every time we go to a beach resort ) and instead features classy, contemporary architecture.I loved it.
- Includes modern amenities such as a kitchen with all appliances and utensils; a dining area with crockery and cutlery, bathroom, indoor and outdoor shower, large cable tv. A grill is available if asked for. Concrete walls and floors with really clean floors. I walked around barefoot and my feet were never dirty.
- Towels, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, hair dryer, included.
- King? Queen ? sized bed with foldable day bed in room. A family of 4 can comfortably fit.
- Only 6 cabins available, and the set-up feels very neighborly and friendly. Like a mini community on its own. We were sharing food between cabins and having dinner together with other neighbors.
- No food but they will order next door for you.
- Needs an intercom to call for service instead of you physically looking for a person. Mobile network is a bit sketchy. Had to go next door for Globe connection.
- View was amazing!
- Pool was amazing!
- Beach was amazing!
- Highlight was having a cow wander in front of cabin patio. They're harmless though and service quickly shooed it away. Bessie was amazing!
- Strongly recommending a stay here. The roads should be further developed by the time you decide to go here.

This was our first visit to Bolinao, Pangasinan. We chose Veue because of its low guest density (four persons per cabin, and only six cabins on the property). The cabins were very clean and well maintained, and the kitchen was well equipped. (Those who prefer not to cook can have their meals at nearby restaurants or order from your room.)
The beach in front of the property was unspoilt and clean, and because of its distance from the main tourist area, it never felt crowded. Watching the sunset while taking a dip in the resort's pool was very calming. Tourist attractions like the river cruise, caves, lighthouse, and falls aren't too far from the resort. But we spent most of our time just relaxing on site. We are definitely coming back here.

My girl friends and I took a 7-hour trip to Veue Cabins from Makati. This inlcudes 2 stop overs for food and bathroom break.
The trip was worth it as the place is really amazing. The view and the accommodation is nice and it's not your typical resort cottage. The room is spacious and has it's own kitchen with complete items.
The pool was great and we had the resort all by ourselves for 1 night and shared the other night with other visitors.
My friends and I rented 3 cabins and we cooked, grilled, swim and relaxed for 3 days and 2 nights.
The caretakers are really helpful and even the next door resort was accommodating. The G resort has cellphone signal so we kept going there to get some updates outside the Veue. There is no signal in the resort so if we want to check our families we left behind for this trip, we need to go up to the reception of the other resort.
Food can be bought from G Resort but not all in their menu is available all the time. We brought our own food and we ate at their common area. When other visitors came, we asked the caretakers to set up a new table for us outside the kioukok cabin near the beach! The sound of the waves were really soothing.
There were few bugs and insects but because there are frogs and gecko, mosquitoes are rare :) However, there were few dogs that are annoying, circling & staying beside our table waiting for us to feed them.
The waves of the beach is good for surfing. The shore is a bit rocky so we didn't really swim at the beach.
The lighthouse and Enchanted Cave are just a few minutes drive so if you want to have a quick day trip, those sites are OK.
The veue is recommended for those who would like to just relax, unwind, without technology and for those who likes to cook and prepare food for your whole company.

Loooove the Veue Beach Cabins that I’m quite hesitant to share my experience to others because I love how private it is. Love how the beach is so nice and quiet without having to ride a plane and that you can cook your own food. Love the interiors and how all cabins get a view of the sea. The staff are so nice and the owners as well.

Thank you very much for taking time out to review Veue Beach Cabins! It's great to hear that we like the same things! Long drives, privacy, cooking your meals (or ordering when necessary), the beach, and a nice clean home that you can enjoy :) These are all the things why we built this place! Thank you, thank you and we hope you can come back someday to enjoy our little private spot in the future! All the best.

We were a big group of 3 families. Booked 5 cabins and had the place all to ourselves!!!
Everything was a breeze from inquiry, booking, up until we checked out. Our requests were handled professionally and swiftly. Special thanks as well to the caretakers (Roderick, Raymond and the rest) who made sure we were comfortable and relaxed during the whole stay there.
We loved the cabins. Well appointed, practical and designed with the guests' comfort in mind. They were well lit and thanks to the big glass doors you can watch the kids playing at the pool or even at the beach while relaxing.
We had kilos and kilos of marinated pork and chicken and thanks to the complete amenities prepping and cooking was not a hassle. In fact grilling even became our bonding moment. As we grilled and enjoyed the night, kids were comfortable in the room watching cable tv and our senior companions relaxed in their cabins not being bothered by the noise (apparently the doors and windows had good insulation against noisy drinking people 😊)
The beach was beautiful, but make sure to have aqua shoes/ socks because the corals are very dangerous to walk on. However just staying near the shore is enjoyable enough. You can fill your phone's memory with videos and pics and still want more.
Finally, there was no wifi and worse, not even a bar of mobile signal in the place. But we still had an awesome time!!!
Will definitely be back! Thank you June and Dustin. Hope we can meet you in our next stay there!

I had a chance to speak to our caretakers that weekend to check up on you guys and they did say that you were very nice to them so thank you very very much for that! I am sure they will be thrilled to hear that you mentioned them in your review :) Too bad my wife and I were not in Patar at that time to meet you guys but I do hope that in the future, we will have the chance to personally be your host. This place is very Filipino and at the same time modern. It's a 7 hour drive that is worth it. They only have 6 cabins and are strict with 4 pax per cabin, which assures you that it is neither loud nor crowded. Their helpers are on call anytime to help you with everything - from setting up of your ihawan to taking care of some insects that occasionally get into your room. You can bring your own food without corkage charges or order from the resto next door to be delivered straight to your room. Their in-house amenities are complete from the fridge to induction cookers, microwave, rice cooker, perculator, utensils, plates, bowls, pitcher, and they even have a coffee press! This place has no cellphone reception which is perfect for destressing and bonding. The entire place (cabins, pool, common areas) is well kept and decors are well thought of. It's also close to the tourists spots for those who love adventure. Lastly, the owners are so nice and accommodating to guests. I'd give it 10 stars if I could. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

First and foremost, I would like to thank June for extending a helping hand with our reservations. We really appreciated it. Anyway . . .
We were booked in Veue Beach Cabins from November 16-18. They have 6 cabins, and we picked the nearest from beach (they have 2), which is Malang house. Yes, the drive was long, with some roadworks but, when you reach the the place, it was all worth it.
Let me start off with how to go there. I followed waze and used the TPLEX Ramos (Paniqui) exit. There were a few road constructions, but nothing fuzzy about it. From the Bolinao Hi-way, you will make a left towards Patar Beach (roughly around 18 kms). Waze then will say, you have reach your destination but no. You have to climb up and follow the "G" sign. It will lead you to a rough road. Okay, SUVs, Pick-up Trucks, Vans can traverse the road easily. Sedans are another story. If your sedan is equipped with stock tires and stock suspension, please proceed with caution because the road is rough with pointed rocks. But if installed lowering springs and low profile tires, better think twice. You will see Veue Beach Cabins after the G resort.
After the long and winding and a bit of rough road you will eventually feel that your vacation will start instantly. You will have a break with your mobile devices, social media sites because there is no signal (there is phone signal, for calls only in one spot in G resort). So, grab a book, or better yet, just enjoy what is infont you. The view is majestic specially on magic hours.
We stayed in Malang house, two of the cabins that are closest to the ocean. Now, let us go to the cabin. The Malang Cabin is roomy (all Veue Cabins are). They have a pantry with complete accessories (coffee press without coffee beans, hehe, plates, utensils, dual electric stove, refrigerator, sink, mircrowave, etc), meaning there is no food, so you are allowed to bring whatever you want to cook. You can also order in the G Resort, if you don't want to problem preparing. But, if there are no guests in G Resort, tendency is, they do not stock up their inventory. Don't get me wrong, they serve good food, but not just complete. The cabins are also equipped with Sofa Bed and a king size bed. The toilet/bathroom is spacious too. By the way, you have to bring anti-insect patches specially if you have kids with you. The cabins have enough spacing for privacy as well. Imagine, there is an on going construction just on the vacant lot near us, with backhoe and all those hammering, but once you got into your cabin, the noise were isolated.
The pool is child-friendly. my 8 year old son loves it. he even said, the best pool ever (maybe because he can touch the floor, and on our second day, he owned the pool since no other guests checked-in)! The view from the pool to the ocean is breathtaking. My wife and I literally stared at it for hours, just eating chips and drinking tea. God's work is truly amazing.
The beach. Ah, the beach. My wife loves it only because of the white sand. But, you can't really jump and swim right away because of sea rocks. It is filled with sea rocks. It is like a maze going to spot where there are no rocks. If you are into snorkeling, then it could work for you guys.
My observation, there was a security hut near our cabin, but never did i see any security guard on duty. There were occasional vendors that can go inside the premises. Privacy check here guys. We also wanted to extend our stay for another night, and the staff and suggesting to call the owners, but, we will go back to the problem of mobile signals. Opportunity lost there.
Overall, it was a great escape for us and worth the long drive. Are we gonna go back? Definitely. Thank you again Veue Beach Cabins.

Response from Lost113, Owner at VEUE Beach Cabins

Thank you very much for the awesome review! We are thrilled to hear you enjoyed your family adventure in Veue Beach Cabins! Just a quick note, the security hut is occupied at night when the lights are out because of the caretakers always sleep there but goes back very early in the morning when there is work to be done. As for the beach, in case you are curious, the sand shifts from season to season when transitioning from Habagat to Amihan. As you probably noticed, it is cooler while the sunset and ocean are very picturesque. When Amihan sets in, the sand gets much thicker (around 5 feet higher) and the sea is a bit flatter. So its really a different experience every time! Thank you for the perfect description - we did make Veue Beach Cabins as a road trip destination to get away from it all. We also love the peace and quiet ourselves and never tire of it. Hope to see you during your next trip!

Hello, all of our cabins are the same size, 55 sqm with Porch, Kitchen, Bathroom, Sleeping, Living and Dining areas. They range from 8,000 to 9,000 a night depending on the season. The cabins are made for two but can accommodate up to four persons through a convertible queen-sized sofa bed. Thank you and let us know if you have more concerns :)
Hello, we have a coffee press for each Cabin 😊
That’s quite a distance away, probably a two hour drive from Lingayen gulf to Bolinao
Unfortunately there’s no signal in this area. You have to go up at the next resort’s office to get a signal and if lucky enough to get data connection.
Hello! Yes, the kitchen has a rice cooker, induction stove, refrigerator, cookware, and eating utensils good for up to 4 persons :)
