We celebrated my mom's birthday here. It was a very comfortable stay after hours of long drive from Manila :) Will definitely recommend to friends and family! Plus the staff are VERY accommodating and friendly. Thank you Villa Soledad! <3

It was a yearly activity we do. We find/book resorts with pool and beach front if possible. We were expecting a beachfront hotel, beach where you can really swim, but unfortunately you cannot here. But on the brighter side hotel is clean with a clean pool, friendly staff. Resto offers food, our accomodation comes with free breakfast, rooms come with toweks and basic toiletry. Tricycle we rented are a bit demanding. Please beware of the drivers there, they may not all the same but make sure to deal and choose friendly ones for tours.

The place is warm and cozy, with a very calm and nice beach front that you can swim to. The staff are welcoming and accommodating. The food are a bit expensive though and you need a transportation to travel around because it is pretty much in the middle of Patar beach and Bolinao town proper. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

We booked a room in room in Villa Soledad without high expectation as ours was a quick getaway and planning wasn’t even done. When we arrived at the resort, we were amazed of the simple beauty and tranquility it offers. Upon check in, we wandered around the resort. The place was a surprise - though not so extravagant but if you intend to relax and feel at peace, this is the go to place. Place is not crowded, considering it is a holiday we we went there. We decided to play billiards - other guests are enjoying activities such as basketball, volleyball and tennis. They have their own canteen/restaurant where you can enjoy eating any food of your liking - if you don’t brought in any food, like us. We ordered sinigang sa miso and halo halo for dinner and tapsilog and cornsilog with coffee for breakfast. Food is ok but we should have go out and try other restaurants nearby. You can also enjoy sunrise/sunset and take pictures of you and your loved ones at the beach for the resort is just across the beach. Overall experience is good.

My family and i were very excited with our long trip going to bolinao... took us 6 hours to reach bolinao from manila. but i was quite disappointed when we reached the resort. This is not exactly what we imagined and i thought i would give 5 stars like other advisors here.. well, i give 5 stars to the staff - they are so corteous. no comment about them. food in their restaurant are also yummy BUT you have to wait for at least an hour to be served. maybe it is really freshly cooked. tip : dont go there hungry. well, their free breakfast is kinda’ ok. typical breakfast. our room - quite small for 6. its difficult to move around. i think we were in their old building. phone aint working. fan busted. cel signal is sooooooo erratic or none at all. no wifi too. they said, they have it at information office - its a dummy i guess. its great for bonding though. take note: its not a “beachfront” resort... coz you still have to cross the road to go to the beach. and the beach infront of them is not swimmable at all! so we still went to a real beach front resort so we can enjoy the patar beach that everybody is talking about... that is around 10km away from villa soledad trees around the resort are full of signages. and big fatty mosquitoes are so rampant in the area so never forget to bring a repellant esp if u are with kids. amenities like the basketball, volleyball and table tennis are good add-ons. and i hope the management will change their mugs/cups that are chipped already.

We stayed in Villa Soledad last Jan 4-6 2019 for our wedding anniversary and I'll say that it's worth the long travel. We booked the standard room which is good enough for 2 persons. It has the basics such as personal fridge, electric kettle and hot and cold shower. Unfortunately, they don't have a wifi and the room has poor signal, so you'll have to go outside your room if you need to check your emails or surf the net. Activity wise, the resort has almost everything. They've got swimming pools, basketball and volleyball courts, billiards and ping pong table. And they're just a few steps from the beach, so you'll never run out of activities here. They also have their own restaurant, however the menu's kinda pricey. Guests are allowed to bring their own meal, anyway. And if you need some utensils, you're free to borrow from the restaurant. The staff are all friendly and courteous as well, which is always a plus factor for me. Bolinao tourist spots and the bus terminals are also just several minutes away from the resort. Everything was great, no issues from the check-in til we checked out. Great stay, overall! :)

One of the oldest resorts in bolinao. The place is well-maintained by the friendly staff of the resort. It can accomodate a lot of visitors given its variety of rooms. It also has two swimming pools, a volleyball court, a basketball court, billiard tables, karaoke, a restaurant, spacious parking, and gazebos for those who want to swim on the beach. It is a few minutes away from patar beach and the center of town. The only downfall is that it has a lot of coconut trees so watch out for the falling coconuts.

Clean resort with large pools with different depth. Accomodating staff. kid friendly resort. The beach is just across the resort but not swimmable, though my kids enjoyed playing in the sand. a quiet place to to have a vacation with family. Not crowded and the property is huge with lots of plants and grass so kids can enjoy roaming around the resort.

The resort has wonderful and helpful staff. The swimming pool is a plus since the beach accross the road is not swimmable. The rooms are too small for four person, airconditioner is not cold enough that even if you open the electric fan it wont help in cooling the room. Suggest they change their airconditioners.
