Stayed in Puerto Del Sol last December 30-31, booked through their official website. We were given the Mansion Villa. Upon check-in Lianne was very accommodating. Our kids were given Christmas gifts, which was so sweet! check-in was fast and the staff helped us with our bags. The room was good, the beds were comfy and there was a closet with drawers for all our stuff. I loved the bathroom, although it was quite small, it was very clean and like new. I dont know if it was newly renovated because the tiles looked very new. The amenities were complete, and there is a bidet. The rainshower was superb! I was slightly reluctant about this place at first, mainly due to previous negative comments about the staff. Firstly the staff are very helpful, attentive and in abundance. There is no problem with the staff, quite the contrary, extremely good. The resort itself is no Marriot, Shangri La etc...., however what gets my appreciation is the cleanliness, it’s maintained and it’s very quiet. Best of all no wifi! The food and service is very good, prepared very well and very hygienic conditions. At night and early morning and for most of the day all you can hear is the wind and the waves! A place I would most certainly go back to.

I had low expectations when i booked our stay months ago, i thought mansion villa (where we stay) is old, super low tide that you cant swim, but i was wrong. The villa is like a new one, beach sand is white and clean, it was high tide in the afternoon, many people are in the beach. The resort is well maintained, more beautiful than pictures. Staff are also nice contrary to other reviews

The resort had a pool, amenities and beach perfect for the kids to swim. I found it actually better than Patar beach simply because the waves at patar beach is too strong for little kids. At the resort you can walk 100 meters and water (during lowtide) is still below your knees.Food is really good and pool experience is great. Also located halfway between town and Patar beach. Just 15 -20 minutes to Town, Enchanted Caves, or Bolinao Waterfalls by car. Only long trip required would be to the Hundred Island which is 1 hour away from the resort by car.

The place was nice, bit it was ruined by the manager's sheer incompetence. The bedsheets were stained, and the power to our rooms were cut in the middle of the night . Not only did she not give us any compensation at all, she was unapologetic and very sarcastic about it.i hope the owner of the resort gets to read this. Please. Do yourselves a favor and fire this stupid excuse for a manager. Not only is she incompetent, she's arrogant, sarcastic, and a liar. You've got a great place, great amenities, and good food. Don't let this woman ruin your business.

one of the staff in H.R is arrogant at mean..she has her attitude problem..we are confused about the rules and regulations of the resort and she was not considerate of our request and trying to argue and checking our companion who are they....she has no right to check our companion since we a good guys and we know ourselves.....

We traveled my wife and I, and her mother and aunt. We booked 2 rooms at the resort for 3 nights, 4 days. We arrived just before a storm arrived and as we also told the resort, the weather we can’t blame them for, but for their lack of service we sure can. It started out pretty well, we were welcomed at the resort with a smile. They didn’t offer any welcome drinks or anything though, which I kind of thought strange, since most resorts in the Philippines do that, because they know how long it takes to travel anywhere there, and after a 6 hours drive from Manila we could have used it. If you are looking for a place to unwind, relax, and be away from city life but you don't have the time and money for a flight chartered travel... I highly recommend this place. Been going here since 2013 for once to twice a year, it progress alot but the service, ambiance, and core values of the resort remains the same. Extremely worth the visit every time.

As you read my review please note that a catergory 5 typhoon has actually land falled in the Philippines while we were there. Check in was a breeze. On the way, the front desk Laurie would message and ask where were are so they could anticipate us. Upon check in I was wondering why they would put us on the 2nd floor when the resort was actually empty. It was later on that I realize that it was for our safety since a typhoon was on the way. I really felt the staff take care of us through this and since on our 3rd night power was cut, they asked some staff to occupy rooms that were near us so incase there was anything that we needed, they would be an easy call away.
