We stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights to celebrate my Dad's Birthday.And we had so much fun. The infinity pool is really nice and food are great. We got casitas and it was very close to the beach. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast and buffet dinner. We will definitely go back to Puerto Del Sol.

Friendly and accommodating staff. The amenities are good with room for improvement. I've seen/experienced better beach resorts at cheaper cost. Good food but quite expensive (tiny portions served). The beach...always on low tide (their high tide is ALMOST knee high) so you'll have to settle with their swimming pools if you like swimming. We were told that Patar white beach is always on high tide by one of their staff. Drinking bottled water placed in your room accommodation is NOT FREE. I would understand the soda but drinking water is a necessity. Good thing we brought several bottles of distilled water. The service water served in their restaurant is not purified (has funny taste). For 3 days and 2 nights accommodation, we were given 2 free buffet breakfast and 1 buffet…

No wifi, although the resort claims to have it in the lobby. If the wifi worked, the lobby is only open for limited hours. The wifi is shut off, when its closed. The poolside bar never opened, and the Jacuzzi was broken, for the entire two weeks that we were there. All rooms include breakfast, unless you are an RCI member. If you are an RCI member, you have to pay outrageous western prices, not standard PI prices. The restaurant closes early. With no poolside bar, there is no way to have evening drinks, after dinner. No outside food or drinks are allowed into the resort, so forget about buying a few cheap beers and keeping them in your room. There is a huge fine for that. There were more security guards at the resort, than guests and waitstaff combined. However, the…

This resort is highly recommended. The price is a bit pricey but its all included. Full board meal. They have delicious food served and well maintained resort. Rooms are clean and the hotel grounds. Very nice staff and courteous.

This resort’s online photos do live up to their expectations. The beachfront is decent. If you’re caught in low-tide, I wouldn’t call it the most picturesque; however, the pool is very well designed for its look and comfort. I cannot speak for the outlook if you happen to be caught here during a storm. And I wouldn’t think all that much of the place if it were fully-booked. I think we had luck with both during our stay. Their game room is a little depressing. The sea-view restaurant is worth a couple meals. Don’t expect the best WiFi. And do have patience with the service. Things are very laid-back here. It’s a wonderful and worthwhile getaway that I’d do again for a weekend out of Manila.

This resort offers below average beach location with usual amenities and yet charges customers comparable to the bests in Luzon. Avoid this place and look somewhere else if you want to make your stay worthy of the steep price tag. Will definitely not come back and will recommend to friends to avoid this place.

Peaceful place. My children enjoyed the low tide at the beach. Found several stranded fishes during low tide. Had an inhouse massage. Chilled by the pool afterwards. Package included free breakfast and free dinner. Worth the price.
