It was worth the long drive. It is absolutely a relaxing place. The kids loved the pool and the balcony overlooking the sea. However, there’s a few things the owner/management could do to give the guests the best stay. 1. Bathrooms sliding doors are quite shabby and even came off. 2. Trash can in the bathroom is broken. 3. Bathroom floor flooded. 4. Not enough blankets for all the guests; blankets available are poor quality. 5. Cleaning is not thorough. 6. Ciao restaurant is affordable; cocktails not good though cheap.

Pros:

1. Majestic view of the sea
2. Santorini feels
3. Room was huge
4. Food was on the cheaper side and above average
5. Gym was very nice.
6. Infinity pool at the top had a great view of the sea.

Cons:

1. It feels like i am in an airbnb. The front desk will recite in front of you (one by one), the hotel policy and will give you a paper containing their resort policy. Afterwards, the person in charge of bringing your luggage will repeat the same thing. Will even do an inventory of the refreshments in front of you. "Sir, 20 po yan ha" or something to that effect.

2. Greeting guests should be a standard of any hotel. Some staff will greet you while others will not.

3. Parking was a little confusing. Requested us to park at the lower part of the resort. However, in terms of distance to our room, no actual difference between the parking at the top and the parking at the lower portion.

4. Poor wifi signal.

5. 1 hour before your checkout, you will receive a call from the front desk reminding you of your checkout time. A few minutes before your actual checkout time, all the cleaners are already waiting near your door room.

6. No lifeguard on duty considering that pool is 8 feet high.

Check-in was fast. Stayed at their Bayview villa. But i was a bit disappointed during our stay because the airconditioners are not that cold. They promised me that they will provide complete kitchen
Utensils, small kitchen appliances such as cooker and griller. There was no griller in our villa balcony, had to request 3 times & had to complain before they provided a griller & there was a big hole on it. Anyway our stay was good.. but it's a bit pricey and it around 5 to 6 hrs. Drive from Manila.

The place and ambience is amazing.
We spend one night in Panoramic Villa. Upon our check-in we greeted by a courteous staff. Health protocols are implemented which is good nowadays. Check-in process is smooth and the Front Office explain fully the villa rules (which was included in my booking confirmation but didn’t read it ). Villa attendant are really helpful with our things (we have a lot of stuff) going to our villa. My family was really amazed with our accommodation. We checked each room and it was cleaned and sanitized. Kitchen equipment are complete (basic) and they provide mineral water with dispenser. Upon reaching the pool deck, it’s really instagrammable, the 360 degrees view, the private pool and the awesome view. Really love the place. So relaxing. We can do sunbathing on the pool deck. After we settled down in our villa, some of my family try to swim in the infinity pool and love it so much. Love also the swing. Awesome view. Hope to be back soon. Kudos to the Management!!!! Merci.

Been here a few times before but i guess they weren't able to maintain it. We brought our pet dogs along. I was alarmed when I saw a tick just strollin around d floor so I immediately gave our pets a bath and found a few ticks on them. Thank God they were just on their fur and haven't made it through their skin yet. We asked them to vacuum the villa well especially the master bedroom while we went out to buy anti-tick shampoo. When we got back,it was cleaner but still found ticks in the master bedroom. Had to spend for our pets bath and tick check up at the vet when we got back, who knows what diseases those ticks can pass onto dogs and humans. Very dissapointing.

Feels like airbnb but with pricey rooms. Personally, it would be greatly appreciated if they provided enough soaps and shampoos (only towels are given). Beach is not really accessible as stated in their website. They can also use a more courteous staff at reception. Overall I’d rather book somewhere else.

We went there to celebrate my mom’s birthday and rented their Panoramic Villa. First off, their check- in time was different from what’s posted on the website. We arrived earlier and was welcomed by their rude staff (Ms. Philipina) who never seemed to be fit as a front desk employee. She kept telling us that they don’t allow early check in and have been imposing that they charge an additional fee for extra people even if they won’t be spending the night. So we agreed to pay an additional fee for the early check in + 3 members. At around 5pm, they called us in the villa threatening us (yes, front desk was never polite) that if our 3 extra family members didn’t leave they would be charged an overnight rate instead (FYI, 1 pax= 400, no towels whatsoever and no written policy.) I was outraged by the fact that we paid too much for a less than 1 star treatment.

Pool on the villa was also small- only able to fit 3-4 people at the same time we ended up going to the main pools. Other amenities were okay, but with the overall experience, I’d rather book somewhere else.

Response from Sundowners Vacation Villas, Marketing at Sundowners Vacation Villa
Responded Mar 22, 2021
Good day! We appreciate your review during your stay in Sundowners but we would just want to clarify some of the points written here, - Our Panoramic Villa check in time is 3:00pm. It has been our check in time since the Villa has been launched 5 years ago. It was also written on the website clearly that check in time is as such. - We have a policy of 400php for day tour until 5pm ( meaning no villa use and just use of our pools, day tour rates dont come with towels etc). We charge our clients accordingly and all these policies are written on our website. - Our pools are in clear photos in our website and social media. We donot claim the pools to be bigger or smaller than what it actually is. We want to clarify that we appreciate your comments on your stay and they will be taken into full light, but we also want to state factual policies stated on the website that clients agree on before booking. We hope this is clear as well. Sundowners Team

🌟🏖️ "A Tranquil Oasis: Sundowners Hotel Bolinao" 🏖️🌟

My recent stay at Sundowners Hotel Bolinao was an absolute delight from start to finish. Nestled along the picturesque shores of Bolinao, this charming boutique hotel offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by the friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The check-in process was seamless, and I was soon escorted to my room, which boasted stunning views of the ocean. The room itself was cozy yet modern, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay.

One of the highlights of my experience at Sundowners was the hotel's beachfront location. Waking up to the sound of waves crashing against the shore and enjoying my morning coffee on the balcony while watching the sunrise was simply breathtaking. The hotel also offers direct access to the beach, making it easy to spend the day lounging in the sun or taking a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters.

The on-site restaurant at Sundowners serves up delicious meals made with locally sourced ingredients. From fresh seafood dishes to flavorful Filipino classics, every bite was a culinary delight. I particularly enjoyed dining al fresco under the stars, with the gentle sea breeze adding to the ambiance.

In addition to its stunning location and delectable cuisine, Sundowners Hotel Bolinao excels in its hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was enjoyable, offering recommendations for nearby attractions and arranging transportation for me. Their warm and attentive service truly made me feel like a valued guest.

Overall, my experience at Sundowners Hotel Bolinao was nothing short of fantastic. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway or a peaceful retreat, this hidden gem on the coast of Bolinao is the perfect choice. I can't wait to return and create more memories at this tranquil oasis by the sea.

Overnight stay at the Beach Mansion.

It can only accommodate up to 25 pax but there was a miscommunication so they ended up accepting our group of 29 pax and 5 pets.

Place is beautiful! While the beach is not 100% swimmable as it is made of coral bed not sandy beach, it serves as an amazing backdrop for the infinity pool.

There are wears and tears in the property. The white tables had stains, tapering off in the massage chairs, and broken compartments in the fridge. I can only imagine how hard to maintain the place to keep things clean and tidy.

It is on the pricier side but worth it for those very important occasions.

The Beach Mansion is able to comfortably accommodate our group of 29 vs the max capacity of 25. Rooms are big and clean. Plenty of bathrooms.

The pool area is the best part of the property. Plenty of seats and floor plan was carefully designed. The kids enjoyed it as it was instagrammable. Dogs have plenty of room to roam around.

Kitchen is fully equipped as advertised. What made our stay comfortable as there’s an on-site chef who cooked our breakfast for a fee.

Cons:
1. Hot water and water pressure can be improved
2. Living area not air conditioned
3. Jacuzzi in pool not working
4. Watch out for your inflatables as there’s a thorny plants near the infinity pool
5. Beach is not really swimmable
6. No separate beach towels

This place is beyond amazing. Everything in this place met our expectations. The beautiful view from our balcony, where we could see the breathtaking sunset and the ocean/islands. Also, they had such an amazing customer service. The staffs were all very welcoming specially Hazel De Perio Sanico who assisted us throughout our stay, making sure we had everything that we needed.
We had the Bougainvilla 2, which had an outside kitchen, including plates, utensils, bbq grill, a couch to relax while cooking, dining set and even a cute hammock chair outside.
Also, the interior room was simple yet very elegant. We loved it.
My family loved it here! We will definitely visit this place again and stay longer next time. I highly recommend this place for anyone who visits Bolinao.
