Detailed Reviews
While few strollers will know that, nestled above the gallery Louise, there is a lovely property, those who stay won't forget the experience. With 140 mostly cozy and effortless deluxe rooms the property is completing an in depth remodel and upgrade. I found it to offer everything one hopes from a 21st century hotel: from warm dark wood décor to an abundance of tropical greenery to warm lighting and mostly an elegant, experienced and discreet staff - a rare gem in this day and age.
Even the room's mini bar, fruits and tea offerings have quality bamboo cutlery. There is little to say about the rooms as everything is so well appointed, works, feels spacious (from the lack of unnecessary partitions) and is tuned to perfection. The lobby is welcoming (after the grand entrance up a majestic escalator), the bathrooms luxurious (L'Occitane products across the board) and the restaurant very good. It doesn't feel like a hotel dining room. Breakfast is good and only one of the dinner dishes (the fowl) was slightly dry.
The Flemish chef is clearly experienced and in charge (with his stature and clean shaven head) and transmits command over the menu designed by legendary Brussels Michelin starred restaurateur Isabelle Arpin.
The enormous verdant terrace will soon be completed and will surely become a meeting place for guests and locals with its direct access to the property's conference and event space. Hopefully the hotel guests will have priority
or it will become a struggle 'a la' Hollywood's Chateau Marmont. The bar is yet to be refurbished and still feels, albeit in a charming way, like a 70s business class lounge. Room rates are still at extraordinarily low introductory rates - so grab it while you can! A welcome and updated alternative to the Amigo.

A nice 5 star hotel with good sized rooms. Our room overlooked the courtyard. The settee and seating area in the room made it seem larger than your average hotel room. It was the extras that made this 3 night stay special. Fluffy bathrobes and slippers, le Occtaine toiletries, nespresso coffee machine, comfortable king size bed, a mini bar with replenished mineral water daily, fresh fluffy towels. When I ran out of milk for my tea the manager on duty kindly provided a small bottle of milk for the remainder of our stay. Efficient air con was a real bonus too.
Rooms and hotel were spotlessly clean, with restaurant staff, cleaning staff and security staff all helpful, friendly and professional.
The breakfast was truly delicious with an exceptional range of cooked and continental options. It was busy but efficiently run. Particularly liked the freshly cooked waffles and pancakes.
Bar made delicious cocktails. Situated along a busy highstreet of high end designer shops and some nice restaurants near by. We used the local metro a couple if minutes walk away to visit the visitor attractions.
This hotel made our first visit to Brussels truly memorable. Would definitely stay again.

So many good things about this hotel: Super-comfy beds with soft pillows and feather mattress toppers, efficient air-con, nespresso machine in the room, good shower, very friendly service, and lots on offer for breakfast in a calm environment. The location was great for us being near to Louise metro, just a short ride to Brussels Midi station and easy to get to the Atomium and Parc du Cinquantenaire for the museums. We had rooms over a quiet side street and we heard nothing at night. The courtyard garden bar is lovely although on the pricey side, but there are lots of cheaper restaurants on offer nearby in Rue Jourdan or Place du Grand Sablon.

Mr H was on business in Brussels and I joined him for a few days at this hotel. Initially we were booked somewhere else but thought we’d stay here after reading reviews and seeing it’s central location. Firstly the positives, the hotel is new and therefore decor is beautiful, bar and breakfast area also very nice. There is paid parking across from the hotel which is convenient and even at weekends lots of spaces (free to park from 9pm - 9am) around €2 per half hour outside of that. But I’m afraid that’s where my positives end. The double room we were in must have been the smallest in the hotel and was warm and stuffy, no sleep first night but this was rectified after going to front desk next morning and room was then much cooler. There was no bath in the room which was very disappointing as I was looking forward to a bath while Mr H was out on his business dinner, again a reflection on how small the room was. I didn’t complain simply because it was Mr H’s business paying! The bed.. I have no idea why people are saying it’s so comfortable it really wasn’t which again meant not much sleep. I found the hotel just lacking, maybe it was the room we had but even the bar area didn’t have adequate seats and felt it was a little style over substance.

Located next to Avenue Louise, the hotel is in a central location of the luxurious quarter. The city centre is a 20 minute walk away on foot, but easily accessible on the metro which is a minutes walk from the hotel.
The hotel is modern and design led, with the bar and restaurant furnished to a high standard.
The room was basic but very spacious and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. A sofa, chair and table made a nice extra addition.
Breakfast was to a good standard with a continental selection. Omelettes are available to order. A hot selection or small to order menu would have been more preferable.
The bar area is very small, more style over substance. A decent cocktail and beer selection, however hugely overpriced for the product served.
Overall, a lovely hotel, with very friendly staff, but falls short of 5 star.

Having just stay at a MGallery hotel in Istanbul which did a prefect job, the series continued here: good location, great design, spacious, well equipped rooms, excellent staff! We especially liked the L'Occitane bath amenities and the comfortable bedding.
Best thing was the staff at breakfast buffet who at peak times managed to serve the masses courteously, cheerfully and efficiently.
Small downpoint: room window sound insulation wasn't that great, but as earplugs are always in our baggage, not a problem. You can aviod that problem, though, by asking for a courtyard facing room.
Happy to return soon!

The room was spotless and we slept well. The Staff were helpful, We had an early flight to brussells so we completed the check in paperwork and we're able to leave our luggage with reception until 3pm and then we could go to our room.
Breakfast was good a little hectic at times but lovely quality.
The location was perfect for us it was about 20 min walk into the centre. We would definitely come back if we were in Brussels again!

Disadvantages:
1. No porter guy who will help you with your luggage. Actually, it's a general problem in whole Belgium. But considering that to get to the hotel, you need to go up a couple of floors using an escalator, that’s quite a problem.
2. We stayed in a city view room. But after one night we immediately moved into another room with garden view. It was very loud all night and in the early morning a garbage truck arrived and took out the garbage so loudly we couldn't even here our thoughts.
3. There is no mini bar in the rooms.
4. Very poor sound insulation.
5. Toilet is the main problem. There is no shelf in the shower so you have to put all your staff on the floor.
6. The shower also has no door. So when you are taking shower, the water is all over the bathroom.
7. Of course, there is no bidet.
8. The distance between the toilet and the wall is tiny so when you are sitting there your head props up against the wall.
9. The only two towel hooks are in front of the toilet - what unsanitary conditions! When you flush the toilet everything from there flows right into your towel.
10. Icing on the cake is the door between the bathroom and the main part of the room. When you close the door, the gap between the wall and the toilet is 5 cm. So if you are not traveling alone, you hear EVERYTHING from the toilet in the bedroom. Rather impossible to go to the toilet if you are there with your husband/wife.
Also some advantages:
1. Very comfortable and soft bed.
2. Tasty breakfast.
3. We got a room change after complaining about the noise from the street.

Dear anastasia_makhrova, Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback regarding your recent stay at our hotel. We genuinely appreciate your insights as they help us to continually improve our services. We apologize for the inconveniences you experienced during your stay and are grateful for the opportunity to address each point: We understand that the absence of immediate porter service could be an issue, especially with the escalator access. Please note that while we do have porter services available, they may occasionally be occupied with other guests. This service can be pre-booked if needed. Additionally, we have elevators that can also assist with luggage transport. We are sorry to hear that the city view room was noisy and that the garbage truck disturbed your sleep. We appreciate your understanding as we promptly moved you to a quieter room with a garden view. We strive to ensure that our guests have a peaceful stay, and we’re glad we could accommodate your request for a quieter environment. We offer a mini bar in our rooms which includes two complimentary bottles of still water. For rooms with additional beverages like soft drinks, Belgian drinks, beer, and juice, we have suites available that cater to these preferences. We apologize for any disturbance caused by insufficient sound insulation. Your feedback is valuable, and we will review this with our team to explore potential improvements. We understand the inconvenience of not having a shelf in the shower. We will take note of your feedback to consider enhancements in our bathroom design. We regret that the open shower design was not to your liking and caused water to spill onto the bathroom floor. We recognize that the absence of a bidet may be a concern for some guests. Unfortunately, bidets are becoming less common in many hotels. We apologize for the discomfort caused by the close proximity of the toilet to the wall. We will consider this feedback for future renovations. Additionally, we understand your concerns about the placement of the towel hooks. You may find it helpful to place towels under the sink to keep them away from the toilet area, and closing the toilet lid can prevent any splashes from affecting the towels. We apologize for the lack of privacy caused by the gap between the bathroom door and the wall. We understand the importance of privacy and will assess potential solutions to address this issue. We are pleased to hear that you found our bed comfortable and enjoyed the breakfast. We also appreciate your acknowledgment of our efforts to move you to a quieter room. Once again, we apologize for the inconveniences you faced and thank you for your constructive feedback. We hope to have the opportunity to better serve you in the future. Best regards, Salomé C. Location is good, friendly staff.
But it does not deserve 5 stars, 4 stars in the group or even 3 stars offer better services.
One of the rooms was not ready at 6:20 p.m....
Another had the shower grates not put back in their place...
We find a meal tray on the floor right next to our room at 3:30 p.m. when we check in, we come out at 6 p.m. to still eat there...
The breakfast was good, but for a 5 star we expect much better especially when the price displayed is 32 euros...
Pompom, during our check-in, a customer who was at reception next to me came down to say that his room was not supplied with water...
For a 5 star this is unacceptable, I would not have made a comment if I was staying in a 3 star IBIS. The expectations are not the same.
