First of all Hotel Tateyama is a large, tired old early 1970s hotel with no obvious signs of renovations or fresh paint for many, many years. All the hotels's corridor walls are a faded, tired 1970s dark cream colour with all the paintwork badly chipped...More

Most expensive hotel of our trip to Japan but definitely the least luxurious. Rooms are old & small but had a great view of the mountains. Didn't try the Onsen but Husband did and he said it was fine (nothing spectacular). Dinner at the French...More

Wanted to experience Murodo both day and night. So Murodo’s Hotel Tateyama fits the bill. However, the entire building and rooms look and feel too old, desperately in need of a renovation. To get to the hotel lobby from the bus station, the only way...More

Hotel location is perfect as it is right above the Murodo Station of the Tateyama Highland Bus, the Snow Wall is just 100 metres away. The services are good and dinner included is OK. Having said that, the room is pretty old, the public bath...More

Baggage delivery was functioning

Hi Hotel Tateyama, Thanks for your previous reply. I have few more questions: In mid April 2017, I plan to stay 1 night at Senjusou or Green View Tateyama near Tateyama station and then the next morning I will come up to the mountain and stay 2 nights at Hotel Tateyama, and after that I will stay 1 night at ANA Crowne Plaza Toyama. I would like to know if there is a baggage delivery service between Senjusou and Hotel Tateyama or between Tateyama station information counter and Hotel Tateyama. I read the official Alpen route website  about baggage deliver service but it's a kind of confusing, it seems the service is available between the selected hotels in Toyama and Hotel Tateyama only, so I guess it will be no problem for me to transfer the baggage from Hotel Tateyama to ANA Crowne Plaza Toyama but what about from Senjusou to Hotel Tateyama? Since I'll stay at Hotel Tateyama for 2 nights, it will be more convenient to have my luggage with me. Besides, will the baggage delivery to Hotel Tateyama be available during the first few days of the opening of the Alpine route ? For example on the 1st day of Alpine route opening on 16 April.
