Stayed one night for third visit, and again luckily it was an evening meal night! This is my haven after tiring visits to elderly father not far away, and it's really beginning to feel like visiting old friends. Other guest always seem to be interesting and friendly too. In addition Graham is actually giving some very practical help in relation to my father, which is so very much appreciated. A very very lucky find last year.
Can’t give enough praise. A beautifully presented house. Great food and warm hospitality. We will recommend to all friends and family. Our bedroom and rest of house was truly boutique standard. Great artwork and interior design. Lovely gardens
Building: A really beautiful former doctor's house, stylishly furnished in which classic nicely combined with modern. And what a beautiful garden!! Room: We had room 6, a spacious, nicely furnished room and a nice, luxurious bathroom. Not bothered by sounds / noise; Sleeping comfort: excellent bed, materials and bed linen. Breakfast: Fine! Also for this: a choice of classic and modern dishes, beautifully presented. Delicious granola, fruits :). Good start for the day! Owners/managers: nice, friendly hosts. Gave nice advice on restaurants and walks. In short: a very pleasant and beneficial stay during our Cateran Trail. A pearl! Recommended.
We had a very pleasant stay in this charming B&B. The house and the rooms are decorated with good style, nice art pieces and beautiful colors. The hosts are very nice and helpful: reservation to a restaurant nearby & driving route recommandations. Very comfortable room and large bed. Very good breakfast in the room with garden view. We can highly recommend to book for one night or a few nights on your way up North or on your way back to Edinburgh.
Beautiful hotel with great art and an amazing garden Graham & Karen were amazing hosts! Happy to share excellent local knowledge with recommendations for food and places to visit A wonderful breakfast and lovely intimate bar for the evening Will be back again
Beautifully furnished rooms, lovely gardens, great food and friendly people. One of the best places we have stayed in. From our arrival until we left we felt at home. We were well looked after by Graham, Karen and Charlotte at all times. Breakfasts were varied and well presented and the evening meals are a must if you are there on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday. It was our first stay there, but we'll be back.
We stayed 3 nights at Teigh na Leigh and were lucky to arrive on a Thursday... On Thursday, Friday and Saturday it is possible to have dinner (make a reservation in advance) and to experience Karens' culinary arts. We strongly recommend to do this! She is a great cook! Graham is very helpful and we were impressed about his knowledge about the most beautiful and secret hot-spots in the region to visit. With a great sense of humour and passion he perfectly leads you to the places of your interest with a lot of background information. The design (from Karen's hand) of the rooms is magnificent. Every room has its own colour theme. The art is inspired by the travels Karen and Graham have made around the world and perfectly aligned with the interior. The rooms + bathroom are big…
What an amazing experience. From the moment we arrived and sat out by the pond with gin and tonics and a whisky, Graham waited on our every need. He helped us plan day trips, booked restaurant reservations, called taxis, and even picked up a birthday cake. Karen prepared outstanding breakfasts with wonderful offerings of fresh ingredients. Wonderful linens, big towels, and a good shower and tub. We were here for 8 days and hated to leave. A great spot to enjoy the central Highlands. We highly recommend.
Everything about this place is 5⭐️ fantastic. From the hosts to the fabulous rooms (room 4 is amazing )to the tasteful decor to the lovely little touches to the exceptional dinner and breakfast to the beautiful gardens to the well maintained parking area to the wonderful “honesty” bar to the amazing aromas around the house to the exquisite toiletries - it just goes on and on There is absolutely nothing to complain about. Worth every single penny of the £140 B&B price. Definitely up there with the very best guesthouses in Scotland. Thanks for having us 😀
