Booked this b/b over the phone after searching the internet for something that suited us. We were travelling for a golf outing and wanted somewhere close by for a couple of nights. The accommodation was very good and our suite included a jacuzzi bath and four poster bed. It was very comfortable and we both got a good nights sleep. The only suggestion I have for improvement in the room was for a bigger television as it was hard to see from the bed. The breakfast was very good and local produce use in the main.

Stayed here whilst visiting family for the weekend. Warm friendly welcome into their home and fantastic breakfast. We had a very large double room with 4 poster bed and a huge en suite incl jacuzzi bath, which I took advantage of. My daughter stayed in a separate twin room which she was happy with as also had an en suite with shower. Suited us just fine. Will def stay again.

The couple are very friendly and helpful, the accommodation is excellent and spotless. There are ground floor rooms for those who find flights of stairs too difficult. The living room set aside for visitors is warm and welcoming, TV, computer access and enough games and books to keep everyone happy. The breakfast is good and the home made jams delicious especially the plum and star anise.

Wow travelled up from Yorkshire, Tea and biscuits and a chat with our hosts Eileen and Bill then off to our room. Good spacious room with a four poster bed and the en-suite was brilliant, Jacuzzi and separate deluxe shower. The Old Stables is located down a private drive ensuring a peaceful and quiet location but within easy reach (150 mtr) of eating and drinking establishments (The Alyth Hotel does wonderful food). The whole experience was wonderful the least enjoyable part was having to leave to come home.

Thank you for taking time to add this lovely review. Happy to know you found the four poster bed to your liking. (Pity the weather wasn't warm enough to open the door and sit in the garden!) Maybe next time? Good to know you enjoyed your stay in Scotland and your trip was a success. I trust you realise you are welcome here anytime. Look forward to seeing you both again soon. Best regards from Alyth.

A lovely greeting from both Eileen and Bill. Met with a smile and come away in. Straight away a cup of tea and biscuits before they even showed us our room, which was superb. Breakfast was equally as good and we set off on our last days walk with a very full belly.
