My wife & I stayed here for 3 nights to explore the local area. We were made so welcome by the couple who own the B&B that in no time at all we felt right at home. The accommodation is spacious, immaculately clean and the beds so comfortable we slept like logs. The breakfasts were superb with top quality food and portions which set us up for the day. The hosts went out of their way to help us when we asked them for cultural, dining and sightseeing recommendations and this contributed to us getting the most out of our visit. Alyth itself is a very pleasant village with nice countryside walks on its doorstep and a few good places to eat and drink. We found it to be an ideal base for visiting the waterfront attractions of Dundee and places like Blairgowrie, Dunkeld and beyond. We will definitely return.

Really recommend this place to you. The landlady couldn't be kind enough (even gave me a free packed lunch for my walk), the early-Victorian house is fascinating, garden lovely and bedroom comfortable. Very clean and very quiet. Breakfast was great too.

In over 30 plus years of staying in hotels and B&BS I have no hesitation in saying that Karen and her partner are the best hosts I have come across Even though we arrived late after cycling 70 hard miles from Tomintoul, Karen made sure we had everything we needed. When Karens partner John learned we were going to miss the last sitting in a local restaurant he drove us there while Karen phoned to tell them we were on our way. The room was spotlessly clean and we slept really well in comfortable beds. Breakfast was superb and we left fully fuelled for another 70 miles on the bike. I really can't thank them enough

Upon arrival we were offered the warmest welcome from Karen & John,we were offered a cup of tea or coffee and was told a little bit about the area.We was shown to our room which was really spacious with a huge comfortable bed with an en-suite bathroom and a powerful red hot shower.Breakfast was delicious and they catered to our every need, even letting our little girl play the piano .It was spotlessly clean and you couldn’t ask for better hosts, I couldn’t recommend here highly enough.

Hard to decide where to start...I have been coming here since Karen and John opened their welcoming doors. I call this place 'my happy place' and my children are to continue this! Each time we're there we make more memories! The house is absolutely beautiful, very clean and the breakfast is delicious! But it's not what makes this place so special...it's Karen and John! I made connection with them and see them both as very special. In a busy world where it's easy to forget what matters most, I come here to slow down, to appreciate nature, my family and charge my batteries. Ever since I discovered this 'home from home' place I haven't been anywhere else... I see breaburn house as a gem,a gift I will look after and be grateful for! It's located beautifully with plenty to do! Thank you Karen for welcoming us in your home!❤️
