Technically, this hotel is in the municipality of Penablanca and not in Tuguegarao City. This relatively new hotel offers the amenities geared towards giving their guests a relaxing stay. The rooms are spacious and clean. A flat screen TV with cable, ACU, hot and cold shower are available. Covered parking is likewise provided. A balcony is provided for every room. Staff are very courteous and service is great.

Wow! I have to say after leaving Manila we weren’t expecting much after traveling so far...but the service was OUTSTANDING, the food DELICIOUS and the rooms super clean and comfortable.

I was in the Philippines for a month and I don’t think I slept better than I did here.

Our group was filming in the area and we have some very picky eaters and Pulsar went out of the way to prepare home dishes that made our crew so very happy.

The hospitality was like no other with people constantly making sure that we felt at home despite being so far away.

Thank you everyone for providing us with incredible service and amenities. Keep up the good work. ❤️

Stayed at this place for a business and leisure trip. What I appreciate is they have a promo rate for only P1500. Rooms are big and clean, bed is comfortable. Bathroom has basic amenities. Interiors are elegant and parking right in front of the hotel.

Points for improvement:
- Restaurant is only open until 7PM
- Shower pressure

Would stay here again if they keep the price reasonable.

This is my first time to try a hotel in Tuguegarao. At first we drove at Valley Hotel, but i was disappointed because the bed is very small(double size). Even their executive rooms have small beds. FOrtunately, we saw Pulsar Hotel which is just a stone-away from Valley Hotel. To my surprise, they have this suite/executive room with a King-size bed! The room was so spacious, it has all the perks you wanted in a room except slippers! I hate walking bare-foot coz my feet are so sensitive. So i wore socks the whole time. Another concern was, i saw some dirt under the bed (i dropped an earring). I guess their attendant didn't clean that much. I didn't report it coz we were about to check out when i noticed it. Have a i seen it earlier, i would have freaked-out! Throw pillows and sofa covers are also dirty. I got some rashes 😩. Cleanliness is a big issue in this hotel. We booked the most expensive room but it didn't meet our expectations. Management should look into this.

The hotel is just 3 kilometers from the airport and they provide a shuttle; you get there in 10 minutes max. Rooms are minimalist wood and tile. Coffee table is very functional as you can move it very close to the bed and you can do computer work while lying down! Shower area is spacious with controllable temp and water flow. Bed is on the hard side which suits people with back problems just fine. Pillows are a little flat which is not good for people with acid reflux. Flat TV with Cignal service, providing more channels than most big hotels in Manila. My initial impression of Cagayan was a quaint, sleepy, even boring place (the land of smiling beauty), but the hotel-suggested attractions (Callao and bat caves in Penablanca, Iguig calvary hills, Basilica Minore de Piat and blue water cave and falls in Banggao) changed all that. Perhaps, the best part of the hotel is cafe Asuncion, which offers really delicious (an understatement) food. For breakfast, try Tuguegarao's version of the longanisa (pan-seared sausage fried to a crisp), for lunch, bakaldereta (short ribs braised in rich tomato and liver sauce), for merienda, the famous pancit batil-patong (a Tuguegarao staple of flat noodles sauteed with egg, minced beef, liver and chicharon toppings served with a soup to be consumed after), for dinner, 21 day-aged prime beef porter house of T-bone capped with dulce de leche cheesecake for dessert. Of course, there's free wifi all over. The only downside perhaps is the noise coming from the highway which at times can be loud enough to disturb sleep. Overall, an enjoyable stay. Mabbalo.

My family needed a place to stay in Tuguegarao. We were on a Northern loop trip on our way to Pagudpud. Tuguegarao is a logical stop coming from the eastern seaboard of Luzon. Early in 2014, we stopped for the night in Tuguegarao (iin another hotel) but that hotel felt like one of those motel like places for sex.

Pulsar is located in the suburbs of Tuguegarao and therefore away from the traffic and din of the city. Parking for motorcycles is great. Parking for cars ample And safe.

Rooms are adequately sized and clean. The free breakfast leaves much to be desired in terms of quality and quantity.

Front desk service is good.

The only hotel in tuguegarao who can handle big functions like conferencesop or convention. We stayed there last April in one of the medical conventions that I participated. Tuguegarao is typically a hot place during summer so rooms should be very spacious and cool..they met that. The hotel restaurant served the best binagoonan in town. The best Binagoongan ever! I literally ate the bago ong!overall, the stay was good.

Tuguegarao is not a known tourist destination the Philippines. I was not expecting much. It was surprising to see a hotel like Pulsar having put some thought to trying to be at world standard. It does not mean that they succeeded with flying colors but it was a good try. The toilets of the suite are huge. Use of ceramic tile for the jacuzzi ledges made it look cheap. The drain also needed a good scrub. I did not use just because of that. Otherwise, it was acceptable. Poor hot water though. Towels rough. Why no wash cloth! The room had a noisy individual window type aircon. Could have been a lot better. The pillow were fine. Sofa furniture could had sharp edges. Watch out for your knees. Clean enough. The restaurant served good Filipino food. Great surprise. Breakfast was a plated thing. Too cheap and basic but eatable. Hot in Tuguegarao. Service was tolerable and they try, as said. Reception and labor management needs to be more organized. The guest see staff signing in at the reception - weird.

Hotel is near a construction site, I was there on a Sunday and the noise from the construction woke me up at 6:30am. You could also hear employees make a lot of unnecessary noises from your door.

If you need wifi connection, it is unreliable, and you have to go out of your room to get a good reception.

No hotel slippers, no safe for important documents. The light in the shower is very dim. The shower does not drain well and pools water while you shower. They did not change the carpet and it was dirty when I used it.

Staff are friendly and nice. Food was average, nothing special.
