Hotel Joselina is located in Caggay, Tuguegarao. It is located far enough from the traffic and noisy part of Tuguegarao City. It looked expensive when we entered the hotel. We immediately noticed that the facade, lobby and the rooms were well designed. The rooms were spacious enough for two to three occupants. Although the two rooms I've seen only have queen-sized beds, there is enough floor space to accommodate an extra mattress. The comfort rooms are well-designed too. I love the "safety-pin" towel hanger inside the bathroom. I also love the rain-shower head. There are other items displayed near the lobby that added to the feel of the whole hotel.

There is a separate smoking are per room which I liked even though I don't smoke. The tv was mid sized, big enough for the room and mounted on the wall. Aircon is brand new so no problems with the temperature. They also tied-up with a Spa so it's easy to call for room-service massage. Famous Panciteria Feli-cita's have a branch in this hotel, famous for Pancit Cabagan and it is beside Petron. Everything travelers need is in this hotel.

Best part of all is the price, our rooms are just P799! very cheap for a well-designed new rooms. I highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel has just opened this year. It was a branch of the main hotel that is supposed to be having a renovation this time I believe. Here is my honest review about this hotel:

1. The exterior of the hotel is really nice. The ambiance is pleasing and the location is just perfect. There is a restaurant at the ground floor (front part) that serves one of a kind noodles, a convenience store open 24/7 & a gasoline station just in front.

2. There is a free parking slot next to the gasoline station in front.

3. The hotel and room interiors are simple but designed with such TASTE. It was really nicely done. The wood decors and the local furniture esp the head gear from BATANES was just amazing. The hotel rooms and the bathroom are SO CLEAN!

4. Price is excellent! $15 (US) per night! I have never seen such clean as this hotel in the area. I tried looking at the others, but this proved to be so far the BEST. No exaggeration. I am so impressed.

5. The service is perfect like a 5 star. You pay a tenth of the amount you pay in 5 star but you get the same service. The staff are very hospitable and helpful. Someone's gonna open the door for you. They will always greet you with smile. They will do whatever you ask them without complains. They are so welcoming.

I wish that there were more hotels like this wherever I go. It makes my vacation just that PERFECT!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS. =)
So impressed!

Cheap, efficient, and convenient. I would recommend this for a traveler (not a tourist) as this would save you a few cash. Also, the location of this hotel is perfect as it's at the heart of the city. If you are concerned about the wi-fi, the wi-fi is only available on the lobby. No wifi on the room. Also, this is not for picky people because of the accommodation and of the room that you will get so don't expect too much. This is a good choice for budget travelers.

We travel to Cagayan often & Hotel Joselina is a good find in Tuguegarao. It is located at the outskirts of the city & very accessible to travellers.
What I like about the hotel: (1) it's far from the busy, crowded & noisy streets of the city (2 ) it has the convenience of a coffee shop, laundry services, 24hrs mini - grocery, restaurant & gasoline station (3) ample parking space with 24hrs security (4) clean & affordable rooms (5) each room has a small open area for smoking / natural ventilation (5) there's good space planning & interior design (6) cozy ambiance (7) has well maintained grounds (8) staff are courteous, helpful & accommodating (9) free Wi-Fi (10) hot & cold shower available.
Busted room lights & slight booking inefficiencies upon checking-in, however, were easily resolved.
Billeted March 28&29, 2015 with family. Got 2 rooms. Had a comfortable stay & will come back again.

The hotel Joselina was picked by us because it was on Agoda.com and offered a convenient way to book from overseas and the reviews were good. Apparently, there are 2 Joselinas and we stayed at the one near the Tuguegarao airport. It was a short ride upon arrival, and we were relieved to get into an airconditioned lobby. The rooms face an outdoor hallway, but the rooms were air conditioned and there's a guard 24hours at the door. We were able to check in quickly, and happy to get adjacent rooms and get some cool air and some sleep! The room had a firm bed, a TV which had hit and miss reception, a little but efficient bathroom, and surprise! - a tiny outdoor smoking room. I didn't need it and have never seen that, but it was an interesting corner of the room. I love the way they fold towels like in a cruise ship, and they provide soap and toothbrushes, which is an unusual amenity in a hotel in the Philippines that is not the ShangriLa or the Fairmont, and where shampoo/confitioner/lotion in the hotel bathroom is a luxury. The wifi sadly is weak. Hard to upload any images from your vacation. The staff though are very nice and accommodating, they kept our luggage safely because we had to leave them behind. The small plane from Tuguegarao to Batanes only allows 5 kilos! It was completely intact when we came back and stayed one more night after Batanes on the way to Manila. The nicest things about this hotel are also outside the hotel-there is a gas station, lots of parking, a coffee shop/restaurant across the parking lot, a convenience store, and Felicita's, which serves the best pancit sotanghon I have ever had! They also serve pancit cabagan and batil-putung, which are local favorites. Across the street there is also a karaoke place. Between all of these, it is so convenient to get breakfast, lunch, dinner and a nightlife even though this Hotel Joselina is not in the city center, but closer to the airport. On out last day, we did tours of the Piat Church, Calvary Hills and Callao Caves, all of which were central to the hotel near the airport. For about 1k PHP/$22USD a night, this hotel is an inctredible bargain!

For the price, Hotel Joselina is hard to beat. Location wise is a plus for me who prefer less noise away from the busy streets of Tuguegarrao City.. ambiance is nice. clean rooms (with separate smoking area). Service is ok. I have no complaints.

I had read the reviews in here and they were all positive so I decided to stay for an overnight prior to going to Palaui Sta Ana.
The Staff Were Very Courteous and Accommodating. We got To Tuguegarao so early and they didn't mind if we had to check in early.
The staff were very informative as well. I loved the clean rooms and the quiet neighborhood.

Pictures of this place look great. Once I arrived I had high hopes. Smoke rooms in each room is a waste of space. If you like ants you will love this place. Infested with ants. No thanks. I will look for something better next time.

No, that is in the city center... this is slightly more periferic, but looks more new. Haven't seen the old one inside actually...

It has no room to accommodate all 6 guests. However, you can book a Twin Deluxe Room that can accommodate 4 guests and a Matrimonial Deluxe for 2 guests to satisfy that need.
