We stayed here last january 2012 with my friends and we occupied the room with 4 beds on the third floor. The hotel was nice, they have swimming pool BUT they charge additional fee even for hotel guests. I think that's crazy. We tried to talk to the manager and beg to spare us the fee so we can swim coz we will be staying there for 2 days but we weren't able to avail even discount. So, we weren't able to use the pool during our entire stay. The location was okay, there's a convenient store, atm nearby. But it was a tricycle ride away from the city center. Just a short ride. Overall, the service was good.

It looked like an oasis in the middle of Tuguegarao City. The rooms are clean but they smelled of cigarettes when we first got in; they eventually sprayed the curtains with Lysol so it somehow helped.
The bathroom tiles and fixtures are new, but the hot water was not working when I tried to shower late at night.
Be prepared to speak a different kind of English when speaking with the front desk personnel -- when I asked her for one of the items under "all day breakfast" she gave me a lecture on how breakfast should only be taken before 10am; to her all day meant EVERYDAY! duh?
The food tastes good and are priced reasonably. Just make sure you ask them 2x if they understood what you told them -- I asked for a rice meal and they gave me just the entree...
The hotel is being renovated so be prepared to hear banging sounds every now and then; also to get free dust powder every time you pass by the hallway.

very nice hotel with a swimming pool. modern and quiet. we booked a triple room while we were in journey and they gave us a small room with two beds: 1 large and a single, and without a fridge nor minibar. so we changed room. i don't know what type of room is it but i think it's a suite with two large beds and 2 bathrooms with shower. very nice room, but hot and cold showers were not working, water was coming out from the sink while you're using it. the curtain fell while my dad tended to open it. the toilets were dirty coz there were some ants on the ground!! i think it's better to check first the room before giving it to the guest. then, the day after, we ordered a room service, and i thought it was very good. only the man who did the service was not that kind. he knocked on the door, i opened it, he did not greet anymore, he entered and left the ordered meal on the table without saying anything. anyway, the receptionists are kind. we had a great time!

We arrived in Tuguegarao after 11 hours of travel and immediately headed at Hotel Ivory. The check in time is at 1pm, however, the receptionist allowed us to check in as early as 7am.

Our room is located at the 3rd floor. We don’t mind even if there is no elevator because we got the room for P1199 for an overnight stay for 3 persons. The room is spacious.

Hotel Ivory has a huge swimming pool with minimal fee and strong Wi-Fi connection. The staffs are great and courteous.

All in all, we had a good time during our stay at Hotel Ivory.

We arrived Tuguegarao at around 1am already and since this was the first decent hotel we saw, we just decided to walk in and asked if there were available rooms and the rates. They gave us a family room - with 2 queen sized beds and a couch. They said the rate they gave us included breakfast already for 4 persons. So, we decided to stay for the night since we were so tired from the long land travel. The room was big but it lacked the usual room amenities like the complimentary toiletries and towels. There was not even a rug in the bathroom, so it tends to get slippery.
The next morning, my family and I went to the food hall to eat our breakfast but the attendants there informed us that the package we got did not include complimentary breakfast! We asked why they gave us the wrong information when we checked in but they cannot give us a concrete answer. We ended up paying in cash.
On our second day, after our farm visit in another town- we were expecting that they already cleaned our room, and probably give us toilet papers or bar soaps - unfortunately, they did not clean the room, there were still no toilet papers and soaps and even a towel.
Moreover, they have additional charges should you want to swim / use their swimming pool - Php89.00 / head! This is the only hotel wherein i have experienced this kind of service.
I think they should improve their room rates - the rates that they should be giving to their guests must include all the usual charges. The staff should also be careful when giving out information especially on the rates because based on our experience, the staff gives out different information - so we do not know which is true.

We had a short vacation last week in Tuguegarao City (our 2nd time) and we were lodged at Hotel Ivory this time. Unlike the hotel where we stayed the last time, Hotel Ivory is a big hotel with a very spacious parking area, a big swimming pool and a cozy restaurant. What I liked about this hotel was its peacefulness, very clean room, and the friendly & accommodating staff. A very ideal place to stay away from the busy city center..much more, at a very affordable price! Sulit!

We found this place and decided to check-out at Candice Hotel after one night to give Hotel Ivory a try because it looked like it was newly renovated and everything is new. It's a wise decision on our part because we liked the place and our rooms are quite new. They even have a swimming. The food at their restaurant are among the best we tasted throughout our stay in Cagayan province, aside from the local fare I love their pizza!

. . .Good accomadations, pool, friendly staff, 2 free b-fast, WiFi, fridge in room, close to shopping. Only complaint is they do not have REAL coffee, only 3 in 1 with FAKE creamer. Have stayed here before and at Hotel Carmelita ( GREAT REAL COFFEE shop, across from Florida Bus & now has a POOL ) & have also stayed at Las Palmas which is REALLY nice but requires a trike to do any shopping. . .Restaurant could use some expanded menu items from an American point of view

Spacious rooms, comfortable beds. Had some problems with the bathroom, water coming out from the lavatory faucet and toilet bowl sink was black, took a while to get that clear water. Breakfast is not included in the room rate, we arranged for 6:30am breakfast upon check in but they kept on calling us at 6am since breakfast is already served. No elevator, be prepared to take the stairs up to 4th floor.

Affordable for the price of 750 for 24hrs.

*breakfast is not that good, was my second time around, ordered boneless bangus with bones

Away from city proper and inconvenient if you have to commute at night.

I suggest you try lorreta or hotel roma

👍👍👍
