The room was very small and small twin bed.AC was not working property.
I was supposed to have free breakfast on Friday, Kitchen was close. And my last day too, they need to upgrade their door keys for security reason. Anybody can get a duplicate the key.

One of the greatest asset of the hotel is the staff. The staff are friendly, extremely polite, attentive and helpful. The hotel is very clean and the housekeeping staff are more than willing to oblige for requests such as fresh towels, more pillows or change of bed linen even at odd hours of the night.

Michelle's Restaurant, however, can offer a more continental type of meals and must not only rely on local fare. The food taste, presentation and menu needs a great deal of improvement. The wait staff are also very attentive and respectful albeit there is a need to train the wait staff to communicate better in English as guests from other foreign countries were seen in the hotel during my stay there.

The Front Desk staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is quite clean and have beautiful granite floors and a very attractive winding stairs to the 2nd and 3rd floor of the building which serves as the focal point of the lobby.

I was not aware that the hotel have bigger rooms which are called Senior and Junior Rooms. I was a bit confused about these names as I understood that the Senior Rooms were only meant for older people and the Junior Rooms was meant for kids. A better and more attractive names for these rooms will surely be more enticing to stay in. It is decently furnished with a jacuzzi and is more spacious than the other rooms.

Kudos to the staff and the hotel owners. A little bit more tweaking and this hotel will go a long way to be a favorite as a destination for tourist.

During a 4 day stay at another hotel in this city, I took most of my meals at Michelle's. It is a clean, comfortable, well-lit, air-conditioned restaurant that serves tasty food at reasonable prices. The service is prompt & the waiters & cashier are quite efficient.

The hotel is old but the rooms were clean & tidy. Service was brilliant and the staff were more than happy to oblige.

The inn house restaurant was adequent and served good meals & cold beer.

Tuguegarao is a small city, so if you come here with limited / realistic expectations, you wont be disappointed!

A room update would be good but not sure if the demand is enough to justify it!

This is my 2nd stay with Hotel Roma from 24th to 29th September 2016. The feeling is great and homely. Everything is perfectly arranged as requested. Very friendly staffs as usual and with their warm greetings and smile. By far, this is supposed to be the best hotel in Tuguegarao City. The hotel is situated in the middle of the city area with a lots of shops and restaurants and it is very convenient for tourists and local. Will be back to stay again in December 2016. See you guys and thank you very much for a great service!

It is centrally located, close to everything. It is a typical business/travellers hotel, no garden, no pool,no gym. However food here (Michelle's) taste good which is quite rare for hotel food. Rooms are ok and spartan, they provide free airport shuttle and staff are very polite and helpful. Free wifi is available and room rates are reasonable.

This is my second time in Tuguegarao . Pros: cheap Cons: Tried to take a shower , no water, then just black water from the shower and toilet, maintenance came 3 times to fix it but with no result. Finally after 2 hours and demanding to get another room the gave us a new room towards the street , the windows having zero insulation it was like being in the middle of the road.
I know its a devoloping city all I was looking for was a clean room and a shower thats it but even that was too much to ask for. The restaurant is the typical Fillipino ( rice with whatever ... and no taste). I stayed at the Mango Suites a couple of months ago and I was suprised it had everything I needed and was up to Western Standard. I cannot recommend this place to anybody.

This is my hotel of choice whenever I stay in Tuguegarao City. It's in the heart of the city and walking distance from the main road in town. There's parking in front and underneath the hotel itself. I still find this hotel the cleanest and well maintained in the area. The rooms are spacious and clean. They provide you with the typical overnight kit. The also provide free wi-fi. Michelle's is the name of this hotel's restaurant located at the second floor. Its been newly renovated and the look is cozy and modern. The native food is very delicious and the staff are all accomodating. I still find this hotel the best place to stay at when in the city. Just one important tip: get a room in the interior area because the outer rooms adjacent to the street get a lot of vehicular noise.

I haven't been to the other hotels in the area, but I am told that this is the best. I stayed in a nice, spacious room. Even the toilet was big. The TV had all the selections. Bed was surprisingly comfortable. Hotel was walking distance from one of the old churches. Surprisingly, the hotel's resto had great food.
My only peeve is I called ahead to find out if they had hair dryers and was assured of its availability. Well, with a hotel that size and just two hair dryers to go around - I was a bit upset. The hotel staff tried heir best to locate one but the darn hair dryer was all sound but no air.
Oh well... Should have known better!

Hotel Roma is in the heart of the city and stepping outside of the hotel, you can already see the major stores and dining outlets in the city and the Sts Peter and Paul Metropolitan Cathedral. The reception area is spacious and the hotel staff/receptionists are very professional. The room is big enough for two but the room rate does not include free breakfast. They have free wifi but the signal in the room is very poor. However, wifi signal in the lobby area is strong and there's a spacious nook complete with coffee table where can you use your laptop and you can also order coffee and sandwiches and do your business stuff. There's a restaurant on the second floor for dining but you can try out other restaurants outside the hotel which are a few walks away such as Gretchen's for their famous pancit batil patong or RGT Bulalohan for their delicious bulalo, Food in their restaurant is quite expensive but taste good. They also pick up guests from the airport and can arrange transportation for you of sight-seeing in Tuguegarao .As a hotel in a province, this is really nice. This is recommended for business trips.

I did not stay st holiday plaza but went to check it out. The pool was dirty and speaks poorly of their management. Roma Hotel seems to be the better choice looking st the many locals eating at their 2nd floor resto, Michele .
