Check in was quick, staff was pleasant and gave us a thorough briefing of the hotel. They seemed serious about quiet times.
The room was somewhat small (compared to US hotels), but looked clean and pleasant and had a good view from a small balcony. There really wasn’t much room for our 2 big suitcases to be laid out.
The bath was relatively small, but very clean and well set up- very functional
The AC worked well
The lighting in the room was good and there were enough outlets to charge phones and ipads.
The TV was reasonable sized, but only had a couple English channels.
The restaurant was very good and dining outside was quite pleasant, but perhaps a bit pricey (it is Switzerland, though)
The bed was comfortable, but instead of sheets and blankets it had those odd European half comforter things.
The hotel was quiet and sleep quality was good.
breakfast was excellent. lots of bread, cheese, yogurt, fruit, etc.
There were hiking trails right across the street that were nice to walk around in the evening.

We had a comfortable stay at Hotel Felmis. The room we stayed in was small but comfortable and had the very best air conditioner of all the hotels we stayed in during our vacation. We enjoyed the comfortable outdoor patio and the large complimentary breakfast during our stay there. The location of the hotel is right beside the bus stop, and it only takes about 10 minutes via the bus to get to Lucerne. Just overall a pleasant stay.

We came here for one night on our way to Italy, I am glad to say we had an amazing stay here. Really would come here again but then for a few extra nights. We had a lovely room looking at the Pilates mountain. When we arrived we were really tired and wanted to have some dinner in the room, normally they don’t provide room service but they were so kind to make an exception for us! It was so lovely and the food was also amazing. Highly recommend this place to everybody!!

The hotel is really nice, clean, cozy and confortable. I stayed for 1 night and didn't have a meal at the restaurant but it also seemed very good. The breakfast was great, better than in many 4 star hotels and the areas of the hotel are enjoyable too. The location is less than 10min of Lucerne by car and there are many restaurants around. We had a car with us and parked for free just in front of the hotel. If we return to Lucerne we would stay in Felmis again for sure.

Perfect in every aspect. We had the pleasure of staying 5 nights, the location is great as the bus station is crossing the street and you'll take 15 minutes approximately to Lucern. Beds are great, restaurant is amazing but the customer service is incredible as you are greeted by the family that owns the property directly. My mom and I were enchanted during our visit. We will return without a doubt. Unforgettable trip!

We stayed at Hotel Felmis for 3 nights in May. Wonderful people, wonderful food, wonderful location. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful, staff spoke good English for us and always wore a smile. Our room was cozy and had a sitting area with 2 chairs that overlooked Mt. Pilatus. Breakfast was included in the room charge and had a good selection of hot and cold foods. The hotel is right across from a bus stop so it was easy to get into Lucerne. Best of all was the hotel restaurant. The menu was incredibly varied and the food was super. We would come back here in a heartbeat.

This is a real gem. I took a single room, although I was travelling with a friend. It was hands-down the best single bedroom I have ever been in. And I will go as far as to say it’s one of the best hotels for its price that I have been in, in Switzerland.
A great view of pilatus, A nice quiet location with plenty of easy parking, outstanding friendly service. Very accessible to Luzern and surroundings. We ate in the restaurant. Good food, excellent wine. In addition, the breakfast was superb and catered for Continental, British and American tastes. With the biggest range of choice that I have ever seen. All the staff were very welcoming and informative and friendly and made me feel very welcome. They could speak several languages. The bedrooms are outstandingly clean and the single bed was a very nice size. There is a fridge in the room, so you can keep your food and drink cool if you so choose to. You are provided with some complimentary water and coffee capsules with an excellent coffee machine. I was very grateful for the air-conditioning System which kept me cool on a very hot summers night.
This is really an outstanding hotel. The only small thing that I can see is that there is rather a large step from the shower to the bathroom floor which might be a little difficult for elderly people. But they might have other rooms with less of a step - just enquire if you are not so light on your feet. Other than that, it’s fabulous. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again

The wonderful hotel is a small family owned hotel. The staff is very courteous and helpful. Great location right across from the bus stop. The food is the restaurant was EXCELLENT. We ate there both nights. Beautiful views of the mountains. Nice breakfast included. We highly recommend the hotel and the restaurant.

The bus ticket is not provided for free by the hotel. The cost of the ticket is CHF 4.10 per ride or CHF 8.20 for a daily pass. The bus stop is just in front of the hotel and takes you directly to the main train station in Lucerne.
