Travel Lodge good points: Lauren the receptionist is excellent and always goes above & beyond to help everyone she is all on her own trying to sort shortage of running water while people checking in without any back up from the big bosses so 5 Stars for her. Bad points: The accessible room is right by the reception, therefore it’s incredibly busy & very very noisy with people coming & going all the time. The bed is sooo low a disabled person would have problems getting in & out & I’m only 151 cm talk & 52 kg. The accessible toilet is sooo low that it’s almost impossible to get off it. It measures : 35 cm from the floor to the seat. And to top it all there was no water in the whole Travel Lodge with over over 30 occupants & Lauren had tried to get engineers in twice. So we had to go out to the petrol Stn. and buy big bottles of water. By the morning there was water but due to the number of occupants the tank run out of water, so we had to go without even having a wash. And had to leave the toilet unflushed. The rooms are fairly spacious but the walls and floors are very thin & flimsy and all night we could hear people above us moving around going to the toilet even flushing it & a few bangs like dropping their suitcase or god know what else on the floor, it is not cheap either for what you get. I wouldn’t recommend it to any one.

Very easy, reasonably priced, and comfortable stay at Travelodge Beckington. That staff were polite friendly and helpful . Regarding improvements, the bath Looked very worn and could probably do with an upgrade.

This Traverlodge is very poor, once arrived the team member had told us that we didn’t have a key for our room as another existing team member had gone home with them, which meant she had to let us in and out of out room. Once in the room there was spiders in the corners as well as a wet patch on the floor near the bed. The sheets on the bed had stains on them one of which we made out to be mascara. We were only given one towel for our room between two of us which meant one of us had a wet towel after a shower. The toilet and bath area had not been cleaned as you could clearly see by when you walked in. We only stayed here for one night for a wedding (thankfully) but did not complain afterwards unfortunately, thinking back we definitely should of! This room was NOT cleaned at all. Please avoid and save your money for another place.
