While it doesn't look the most exciting area as you pull up from an 'off the beaten track' looking road, the hostel backs out onto a pretty nice view with free access to the adjoined rare breeds farm and vineyard.

I am not sure about public transportation. I was driving a rental car. It was kind of isolated and I did not notice a walking path. The hostel might be able to give you directions. Sorry for not being a big help.
