"Your nature resort in Bohol." Fox & The Firefly Cottages is the home accommodation of SUP Tours Philippines that does the stand-up paddleboard holiday tours in Bohol and other parts of the country. Located next to the Loboc River between big trees and rice paddies, this is the perfect little place to get-away, relax and enjoy nature. The cottages are tastefully designed with modern interiors and comfortable beds whilst staying true to the Philippine "nipa" hut living tradition. All cottages have private outdoor bathrooms with hot and cold showers surrounded by plants and flowers. The restaurant Food & Fables, is open early for breakfast and offers traditional and vegetarian food cooked fresh everday.

We stayed in a superior cottage and it was very cozy and nice! Absolutely loved the outdoor bathroom with a ''waterfall'' shower. The bathroom has a high fence and a bit of roof so if it rains you won't get wet while outside. No one can see inside it either. The bed is comfortable and it has a mosquito net around it. We barely saw any insects inside the room. The staff at the resort were very kind and helpful. No matter what we asked they always had an answer and a solution, they were great! We also went on some tours that they arranged and their tour guides were also great! Some of the guides seemed young but the knowledge and information they already have was astonishing! Everyone also had almost perfect english so you could ask many questions and get answers to them. The garden is beautiful, the river is just next to the resort and they arrange different programs you can join. You can freely swim in the river, lounge on the deck and jump to the river with a swing. This place is an absolute paradise. Could not imagine a better place for us. The restaurant that is upstairs is the best in town! We tried other places but this was our absolute favourite. Not only is the staff quick, kind, helpful and funny, but the food is amazing with great flavour. One of us have allergies and the chefs could make the food so we both could eat. Our stay here started nicely and they seemed to be very helpful. Because of some unexpected changes during traveling we had to change our booking dates. I was told to do another booking through their website, and I would get back the money of my other booking. Turns out, months later, with trying to communicate again and again, I did not get my money back. Very poor and disappointing service and I hope to see my money back someday...

My friends and I had a very pleasant stay at Fox and the firefly. The accommodation was great and clean. The food in the restaurant was amazing and had so many thing I wanted to get. Staff was friendly, helpful and paid attention to us and made sure we had everything. The place is located outside of Loboc, so a longer walk to get to the city, but since Fox and the firefly had everything we needed, we only went to Loboc once

The most amazing staff - very friendly and helpfull❤️ Beautiful Cottages set in a lush garden just on the riverside. We visited as a family with our 8 year old son and we all enjoyed our stay very much! Food was VERY good with lots of local food, bur also a few european favourites, which our son enjoyed!

Excellent amenities. Warm and kind staff. We will definitely come back! Their paddle board package is a must try. Very serene experience wherein you will get a glimpse of local neighbourhoods whilst paddling through the peaceful and clear Loboc River.

This hotel is BEAUTIFUL! We stayed in their family room and our view from our balcony is amazing! They also have a restaurant that serves very healthy meals. Make sure to try their Pepper Sisig. And also try their smoothie bowls for breakfast. They have great Internet connection especially in their restaurant. It is in front of Loboc River and they have a deck where you can relax and chill by the river. I have soo much fun here and I feel soo at home. This place and their dogs will have a special place in my heart. I just fell in love. ❤️

It was in the middle of typhoon Dante when we went to Loboc. There were floods everywhere. But the owners of Fox & Firefly were so kind and accommodating that they even gave us a free cottage upgrade. They even gave us emergency lights and water just incase there will be power interruption. I would like to thank the owners for being so kind to us as well as the guards and the incharge at the resort. I will go back definitely.

Stayed here overnight for only Php2,100.00 for 4 pax. We get to choose which room we would stay, of course we chose the room located at the 2nd floor facing the rice paddies, which was cool and relaxing😊 Love: Bathroom is truely one with nature😊, Staffs were accomodating😊, Food and drinks is yummy, we get to bring also food that we bought from the outside stores, we felt safe staying at this resort despite such open areas😊 Though the room has really awesome view from the terrace, we felt it was a bit hot even with the 2 electricfan on, even without aircondition rooms there is a mosquito net which is cool. They lived up with the image of the resort wherein it is really indeed one with nature❤️ Overall we enjoyed our stay at Fox and firefly and how we wish we could stay longer🙂…
