I was looking for a place by the river and found this perfect one. The staff was very friendly; the food was really good and reasonable with many options. Everything was just amazing. If you are looking for a peaceful and nature connection place, this is your place! Rooms are big and beds are comfortable. Go to the monkey island walk with the hotel crew. It's fun to watch them when they're fed. I went to the hotel's Firefly watch river boat tour at night. It was the highlight of my Bohol trip! Just ask the front desk.
I loved this resort, between the jungle and the river. The bungalow was nice and clean. We hadn’t had any problems with animals, but of course you are in the middle of nature. Stunning place and the restaurant was delicious. The receptionist helped us organizing our stays and they were very nice. I would have loved to stay longer!
We started our Philippines trip at Loboc River Resort after a short night in Manilla. And we would recommend everyone! Its a very beautifull, chill resort with a lot of nice facilities, but also activities to do. Special thanks to the lovely staff and our pick-up/tourguides José and his son J. They made our stay complete! Please make sure they receive our compliments. Hope to be back in the future! Carmen and Arjan.
What a wonderful stay my wife and I had at the Loboc River Resort, just a few days ago! First, our bedroom was comfortable and spacious, and offered serenity thanks to its view onto a peaceful river. The staff?... 11/10 for their friendliness coupled with efficiency. They make you feel like at home and you enjoy a very personal welcome, right from the beginning. Excellent training there. Dear All at LRR, we shall happily recommend you :-) Elizabeth & David
We had a wonderful time staying at Loboc River Resort. All the staff are super friendly, food is excellent and reasonably priced and the overall place is like paradise! We highly recommend this place and will for sure be back with family next time we’re in Bohol. Thank you for a most memorable experience.
We stayed at the Loboc River Resort Bohol for 3 nights. Whilst the rooms could do with some upgrading, our stay was good and full of the sights and sounds of the river location. We opted for the river over the beach to do something different and we were glad that we did. It is a perfect value resort and The people are the perfect hosts. A great location to use as a base to see Bohol. Highly recommended
This resort is very ralaxing and homey. The amenities are simple but adequate and clean. The staff are very friendly and there is a very relaxing and laid-back vibe about the place. It is quiet and not very populated so it is highly recommended for people who do not like noisy and busy surroundings. The pool is big and heated and there is a restaurant inside with reasonable prices and tasty food. We only stayed one night but we wish we booked for at least 2 days.
Let me say this is an amazing resort that is clkse to 5 star! Let me get the fixable details out of the way. First, the rooms have small black ants. Need to get an exterminator service or some other method to keep these little guys out of the rooms. Second, rooms don't have telephones, get the reception cell number during checkin. Now, the best parts! The resort is serene and peaceful. The rooms are very spacious along with balcony with river views. Balconies have a tub for outdoor lounging. The rooms are really modern and beautiful, with smart TV, and fast internet. There are two large pools on site. The resort offers some watersports, like kayaking. There are tours available as well like Chocolate Hills and the Man Made Forest. Car service is available, a wonderful driver, Jay is a comedian and knowledgeable of the local area. The receptionist, Cristy and Marj are extremely helpful and efficient. They can help with anything. Pat in the Venia's Kitchen, the restaurant is awesome! The restaurant has traditionally Filipino food and is really delicious!!!! The mushroom sauce is WOW! They have a nice selection of drinks as well. Panglao is an hour away by car for 1200 php each way. There's no ATM here so advise bring cash or hit ATMs beforehand. Thanks to the entire staff for a wonderful time.…
First time to try a resort by the river, I never regret, this is a hidden place, you can’t see it by the road, but when you go to their narrow entrance, inside is a jungle, forest, river, a very hidden relaxing quite place. Most of their rooms are separate from the main area, it’s like you waking in a canopy going inside the jungle/ forest after eating or swimming or relaxing. If you need other activities outside the resort, they can give you lots of choice, and you don’t need to go to that activities you’ve chosen, they will pick you up in the rest, very convenient. Staff are very good. The day when we where leaving,I though I was talking to one of their staff, but on my amazement, it’s the owner. She is very down to earth. This place is hidden paradise.
Family of 5 from the US spent 2 nights in Loboc, as part of week on Bohol. Loboc River Resort is a warm, friendly and comfortable resort, with a wonderful restaurant, delightful staff, large swimming pool and beautiful grounds, perfect for nature walks and relaxation. The highlight is the river location, which provides immediate access to river cruises (which we did) and paddleboarding and fishing (which we will do next time). The staff helped arrange an exciting night-time cruise to see the fireflies (we enjoyed the dark, mysterious ride up the river as much as we did seeing the trees "on fire" with fireflies), as well as a day tour to see the tarsier monkeys (so cute!) and Chocolate Hills (a life-long wish fulfilled). The lodge is woven into the marsh, with a boardwalk guiding you to the rooms. Depending on the tide, you either see the brackish river below or the muddy roots of native trees and beautiful flowering plants. We were well cared for by the kind and attentive staff, especially the kitchen workers who noticed our son's retainer he had left on the breakfast table, and kept it safe until we returned. Overall, Loboc River Resort is a wonderful getaway with a perfect riverside location and a great base to jump off to see all that the center of Bohol has to offer.…
