An Italian Dream Casale San Pietro nestles in eight acres of olive groves in the heart of the Italian countryside in the region of Lazio, a lesser-known part of Italy with many hidden gems, yet only 50 minutes from the Eternal City of Rome. It is an agriturismo with just 6 indvidually-designed bedrooms. It is a home from home haven where our guests can relax in luxury and feel at home. One guest described it as a ‘hometel’. Joe and Alana designed and renovated the 300 year farmhouse with a clear vision: to create a space which is relaxing, tranquil and where guests can escape from their day to day lives. They run the business with love and are passionate about providing unique personal service for each guest. Nothing is too much trouble: their mission is to make each guest feel special and part of the Casale family and to help create wonderful memories.

We thought long and hard about travelling at all this year, but made the decision to visit Casale San Pietro as we knew it would would be safe. Every effort was made to ensure everything was spotless, tables distanced, hand sanitizers available and yet we felt completely pampered and relaxed.
The rooms are sumptuous and stylish, beds so comfortable, food absolutely delicious, beautiful pool and gardens surrounded by outstanding scenery. Joe and Alana are amazing hosts, they continually go the extra mile to make your stay perfect and you feel as though you are staying with friends. Thank you to all the lovely ladies who work there and cook the most wonderful food ( Luiga, Ana and Pina ) We had a blissful week, everything was absolutely perfect. We can’t wait to return.

I booked here on a spa retreat via My Little Farm Spa and so there was a lot included in the package, including 6 nights accommodation at the Casale with all meals (Inc those out at local restaurants), guided day trips courtesy of Joe (one of the owners), access to all the Casale facilities and many spa treatments during the visit. It really was the most amazing week, and I cannot fault a single thing. Alana and Joe (the owners) put guest needs at the top of their list and can't do enough for you. Their warmth and hospitality is second to none. The Casale itself is beautiful, with a select range of large rooms, all kitted out to a high standard. The food is prepared by an experienced chef and absolutely delightful. All ingredients are top quality and fresh, and meals are made to a very high standard. It could work out to be an expensive holiday but absolutely worth every penny for the top quality service and experience you have. Am already planning my next visit!

I visited for 6 nights with my friend on a Spa retreat. We had 5 therapy’s. Massages, facial’s, scrubs. Three day trips (Rome and Villa del Este) and 2 evening restaurant visits with breakfast and lunch and evening meal at the Casala as part of the package.
We had an amazing time. The owners are hosts and it is a real home from home approach. There is a maximum of 12 guests. Its an honour to be able to stay in their fabulous home.
The bedrooms are spacious and there are plenty of places to sit in the sun or shade. The pool is idilic.
The food is amazing and staff can’t do enough for you.
It a definite must if you fancy indulging yourself.

We were all in need of a holiday and my goodness the care and attention we received excelled all our expectations!
Everything about this hotel is exceptional. The surroundings, bedrooms, decor, all the team, and the total gems - Alana and Joe. Their knowledge and understanding of what makes great service is coupled with a genuine care for their guests.
We were four adults and a toddler and they catered for all our needs. I’m gluten free and a beautiful fresh gluten free cake came out every morning- as well as eggs from their chickens and a cornucopia of other items.
Dinners were the same excellent quality.
It is most definitely our little bit of heaven! We will definitely go back.

What an incredible experience my partner and I shared together here. From start to finish Joe and Alana were outstanding hosts. They shared with us their beautiful home in the heart of the Italian countryside. The views are incredible which can be experienced sat on the patio with a cappuccino made by Joe or an aperol spritz by the pool from Alana. What makes this place so magical is not just the venue itself but the people who pour their heart into every detail they can.

The homemade food was some of the best we have had during our stay in Italy. Luiga who runs the kitchen is very talented and passionate about home cooking, we could taste the love in every bite. Be sure to try their olive oil which is grown on the farm itself and the limoncello made with lemons picked on their grounds. We are already planning our next trip! Thank you so much once again, Louie and Genevieve x

We spent three nights at the Casale San Pietro and it was just perfect. The old building which is located within an olive grove was transformed very carefully into an exquisite rural paradise (with a beautiful swimmingpool!). Right from the arrival we felt at home with Alana and Joe who are the most considerate hosts you can imagine. We had two excellent dinner evenings at the Casale with superb local food and wine. We spent one day hiking in the mountains, one day at Subiaco visting the Benedictine monastries and one day visiting nearby Anagni.
It was a perfect blend of Italian culture, rural hideaway, Italian food, wine and coffee and warm English hospitality. Very special, very unique!

We had the most incredible stay at Casale San Pietro, so good that we booked our next trip whilst we were there. It exceeded all of our expectations. Everything about this place is just incredible, it’s like a home away from home with the luxury hotel feel that’s just perfect. Alana and Joe (and Bailey of course) are the most incredible hosts and were a joy to be around. The facilities were fantastic and gave us a chance to relax and come and go as we please. The food was delicious and we could even book onto the evening meals last minute which helped us out a lot, and the views whilst eating our meals at the Casale made it even more extraordinary. The whole experience was authentic Italian which is just what we were looking for and we cannot wait to return

I’ve just returned from the most amazing, relaxing and peaceful stay at the Casale. I booked onto the Yoga retreat which was just superb… designed beautifully with lots of spare time to enjoy the lovely pool and indulge in some spa treatments. Alana and Joe have created something really special here, and unique. The casale feels a real home from home, but with luxurious touches and world class food… as good as you will find in any top hotel in the world. Like so many, I have already booked my place for next year and cannot wait to return to this little slice of heaven in the Italian mountains.

Oh my days... what can I say about this place? Nothing seems good enough.... Alana and Joe are the loveliest, most helpful, friendly couple you will ever meet, and they are the heart and soul of this place. Casale is set on a beautiful mountainside, complete tranquil peace and quiet, and everywhere is meticulously clean. They are so welcoming, the food is amazing, and the Casale itself is a home from home (if my home was a beautifully restored old building in Italy that is...!)
The pool is lovely, clean and warm and the Sun beds there are soo comfy! The bed we had was so comfortable, and our room was really clean and well maintained! Joe is a wealth of information with his brilliant maps and tips of where to go and what to see, and nothing is too much trouble, and Alana is just lovely with a really calming inner peace about her. We cannot wait to come back to see you both, and spend longer here exploring the local area and relaxing at your amazing place. If you are looking for complete relaxation, absolutely book to come here, you will not regret it.

This is the 4th time I have come with the family and the 10th time with my partner.
I realise people like to do and go to different places but personally I feel I can take whatever kind of holiday I feel like from this glorious hotel...
You can either have a quiet relaxing stay or an incredibly busy time eating out/bars/night clubbing etc.
The hotel itself is set in it's own olive grove and looking out over the valley at the roof tops with most farms having their own olive groves is a sight to behold.
The staff themselves are authentic Italian and as you would expect wonderful cooks. The owners have put so much effort into the hotel itself and it is a real pleasure going there and spending my relaxing time at this lovely hotel.
They also put that extra mile into making your stay as smooth/busy as you wish.
After coming so many times yes I suppose I do have a bias but if I had things to complain about I would put it here.. Enjoy
