One of the best IBIS hotel we visit. Modern room, clean and very good breakfast as usual by IBIS. Although the main road is close to the hotel, inside and outside as well the location is quiet. Very pleasant stay and staff
First time at an Ibis, quite nice simple budget hotel but let down by very, very poor quality towels, and why 2 bath towels but only one hand towel for a double room. Why only one extra pillow - bizarre! Use Accor hotels all the time but I'm not sure that we would stay at an Ibis again.
An Ibis is an Ibis, not much changes. The rooms are copy & paste, functional, well equipped with a comfortable bed. The staff were extremely friendly, helping us with itineraries to discover the area, telling us where to go (we saw some very interesting stuff we would never have seen otherwise). Breakfast at the Courtpaille (built against the Ibis) was fine, not grand. You get what you pay for. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
This was the 2nd time I stayed at this hotel. The rooms are normal standard for Ibis. In my opinion, too cramped for double occupancy (unless you are sharing 1 suitcase), but OK for single use. Accor really needs to provide more shelf space in the bathrooms. The rooms are clean and quiet and everything worked as expected. They only have 1 English language TV channel (DW) which is actually based in Germany, but it broadcasts world news and documentaries in English. I would like to see BBC World, CNBC, CNN, France 24 English, Euronews English and Aljazera English. The hotel has a Courtpaille restaurant annexed to it. There is direct internal access from the hotel. Bills can be charged to your room and there is 10% discount for hotel guests. Restaurant service is fast and reliable. Unfortunately they have no fish starter except for the rilletes de sardines. Since the restaurant's emphasis is on grilled meat, I would have liked a smoked salmon starter. They do in fact have a seafood salad, which contains smoked salmon, which is probably too big for a starter, but they were inflexible about serving a plain assiette de saumon fumée Staff were friendly and helpful, except for one young boy who worked as night receptionist, and appeared not to have been properly trained. One of Ibis's selling points is the fact that they offer a snack menu, which is supposed to be available 24/7. Unfortunately this particular night receptionist, seemed to be unaware of this, and when I showed him the snack menu, he said he had nothing to serve. In fact the cold snacks are sourced from the pantry of the Courtpaiile restaurant, and this boy obviously did have access to the pantry, because one of his tasks as night receptionist was to prepare the Breakfast buffet, which contains cold cuts and cheeses, which also appear on the snack menu. The hotel dealt with my complaint in a proper manner. I got an apology, and a complimentary dinner, so I don't think other customers will experience this problem with the current staff. I found the breakfast fruit salad to be disappointing. Accor hotels usually include pink grapefruit and orange segments in the fruit salad. These ingredients were NOT present. Instead the fruit salad contained a lot of melon and apricot which I am not keen on. Other customers might have different preferences Access to the hotel and its car park is via a side road at the back of the hotel. Parking is free and there are no difficulties, except that during the day, the local roads can get badly jammed with traffic, The presence of commercial estates is what attracts the traffic. The hotel uses Accor's branded Wi-Fi system, which works fine and is unproblematic. I have not had any issues with the Wi-Fi, during my 2 stays at this hotel.…
Nice hotel and very friendly service. Arrived very late but no problem at all. Rooms are very quite and clean. Breakfast was a bit poor but overall price quality is OK. Parking is good with enough space. Restaurant in the evening looks very good. Bar is fine and close at 1 am.
