Nestled on the beachfront, the Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa is celebrated for its stunning setting and enchanting atmosphere. While the hotel's picturesque location and spacious rooms are often praised, some guests feel that the additional fees and service delays detract from the overall value. Despite the commendable cleanliness and the welcoming vibe, there are mentions of maintenance and understaffing issues that mar the experience for a few. Nonetheless, the friendly staff and room amenities continue to draw positive attention.

My mom, grandfather and I were looking for somewhere nice to stay in west palm beach Florida. We kept on searching for the right hotel to stay in and we came across the Marriott Singer Island through our Marriott app. We got to use all of our saved points from recent stays which made the resort much more affordable. I was skeptical about going in the month of December because of the uncertainly of the weather. However. with Florida being known for its natural beauty we really did not care rain or shine we knew we were going to have fun no matter what.
Once we arrived, the three of us were greeted by one of many of the best hotel staff that worked there. His name was Cypris. When we met Cypris, I felt as if we were home by the way he greeted us and the way his customer service skills and his positive attitude and I felt at peace and safe. That is not all who we met from valet we also met Caleb, Caleb was like a cousin to me the by the way he talked to me and the way he assisted us throughout our stay. When we got to the check in desk we were greeted by Taj, Raj and Bob, they were all very welcoming to us from the moment we checked in and checked out. However, Raj made our stay a lot better. When he checked us in, he was so kind that he up graded us to a higher floor and that really surprised me because it was free of charge. He got us a room with two bedrooms two baths and a resort and ocean side view with a balcony. The room that we stayed in came also with a washer and drier with a full kitchen and a big refrigerator along with a mini fridge filled with drinks and snacks for an extra cost.
The Marriott had beach service too all we had to do was a raise a flag and a food runner would come up to us and take our order and within minutes the runner would be back with our food and frozen cocktails. The resort has two pools one was the lagoon with a full bar, water slide, and a waterfall. The other one was an infinity pool with a hot tub that can hold up to 11 people. The resort also has a Starbucks, gym and a restaurant called ONA. ONA is open for breakfast lunch and dinner the food was freshly made and delicious. However, the menu was pricy but definitely worth it.
At the end of our stay all I could say is thank you to all the staff that worked there to make our trip memorable and beyond amazing. This was one of the best resorts we stayed at, and we liked it so much we have decided to make it a tradition. This resort in my words had exceptional service and I highly recommend this place for safety cleanliness and the atmosphere of it all. It gives you the vibe of being in the Caribbean with the live music at the lagoon pool.

The location and beach access are why I came, but for the price it just didn’t live up to a Marriott Resort experience.
Pros
-Location
-Full beach service (even ordering drinks and food at the beach is great)
-October was not crowded (you just risk potential hurricanes at this time but weather was great)
-Room was spacious and well appointed
-Some great staff with shout outs to Jan at the Beach Entrance, Caleb helped with my luggage and gave great resort overview, and Karina at Ona Restaurant for amazing service. Staff were very friendly overall

Cons
-SiSpa was disappointing at best. Paid for massage with deep tissue and aromatherapy and therapist literally rubbed oil for 80 mins. Outdoor hot tub area was dingy and needed a good cleaning
-Food selection was sparse. Same food options on beach, in the restaurant and for in-room dining. Food was just okay
-Beach was full of seaweed and only in front of this resort (on either side of the resort the beach is clean). For the price you are paying, they should invest in cleaning this daily. It’s all over the beach and thick like carpet in many spots.
-The time share sales people call you before you arrive and while you’re there. A bit annoying but I’m sure some won’t mind

Overall it was just okay but certainly not worth $500-800 (this is offseason pricing it’s higher of course at peak) a night for what you get. Steer clear of the spa.

Pros- the staff!! Shout out to Sean at the concierge desk, Jan at the beach hut, Brandon and Roberto at Ona - Rod and Rob at the pool and Nicoletta who taught in amazing yoga a class on the beach! Our room was phenomenal. I loved having the two bedrooms and kitchen area and 2 bathrooms. Despite all
Of the kids and families the room felt very quiet and private. I loved that beach chairs and umbrella was included with your resort fees and the guys at the beach work their tails off! I loved the location. It was centrally located in between Jupiter and West Palm so could go to both areas. Def treat yourself to a sunset at the Sailfish Marina. Loved the size of the resort.
Cons- the pool area was a little small! And there wasn’t much “nightlife” although I understand it’s a family resort. But would have loved a little more entertainment in the evening. The prices are resort prices again expected for a Marriott but $6.50 for a coffee!!? I also felt like they were understaffed a little but we went on a holiday weekend. Because of that I don’t think the common area bathrooms were kept up that well. Also it’s an older resort so showed its wear and tear. If I come back to the area I would consider returning but might look for a resort that has a bigger pool area.

I spent a few days in this hotel, although I had booked a room for 3 people the third bed had not been prepared, they gave me a room that did not correspond to my reservation. In the days I stayed the room had never been cleaned at 4pm and every day I had to ask to have it cleaned. Nice hotel but dated and with little maintenance. Finally 2 hamburgers, 1 potato, 1 water and 1 pepsi consumed in the pool 120 dollars..... madness!!!

I wish I could give this review negative numbers. First, i booked it through Hotels.com. Never ever use them. They claim to have a price match guarantee and this is a complete lie. They force you to do a non-refundable reservation and will not honor any price matches.
As for the marriot resort, it is a valet parking only building which wasn’t clear when I reserved it. So get out your wallet everytime you want your car. I needed a baggage cart and the valet told me you only can use it if you get the bellhop. I told him to forget it, went in to check in and next thing you know, a bellhop had loaded the stuff from our car without asking. More money.
After getting to check in, we found out we need to buy another package to get WiFi and beach chairs for $35 a day. We bought it but turns out, that was another scam.
Got into the room and saw the kitchen was missing most of the stuff you need to use to cook and eat, the sink has minimal hot water, there were bugs in the room. Live and bugging my kid in bed at night. The main shower has no hot water. We have contacted over and over. Nothing is fixed and they won’t refund our money. I am sick over this trip. We are Envoy members and will be dropping that. never use Expedia.com, Hotels.com or anything Marriott ever again.
I didn’t mention how expensive everything in this place is. Avoid.

Thank you for your feedback regarding your arrival and experience. Unfortunately, you rented from a private owner attempting to deceive you into believing you were staying in a Marriott managed hotel. We apologize for your experience and will share your feedback with the owner and management company. Our hotel is completely valet, and the owner should have disclosed that to you as well. We have no open parking and a compact parking garage that requires professionals to maintain the space. Although you did not stay in a Marriott managed room, we still offer all of our facilities by simply paying the Resort Fee that the rest of our guests have participated in. We hope you decide to stay with again and Happy New Year

This was our first time at this location. Front desk did not greet us at all when we arrived. Valet was horrible, we requested our vehicle and waited outside about 15min, no one offered assistance until we had to ask valet for help all for him to tell me, “sh*t my bad bro, I thought you were waiting for an Uber.” Their beach isn’t private like they say it is. Random pedestrians come on it and grab the Marriot chairs as they please sitting right next to you for free. We used the beach food service and waited at least 15-20min to even get a server then ordered 3 drinks (Pina Coladas) and it took an additional 40mins! On our 3rd night our toilet in our room was clogged, it took the front desk at least 35min to resolve the issue and bring us a plunger. Housekeeping did not sweep our floors as they were still sandy from the day before. We will NEVER return to this Marriot. They have a lot of improving to do starting with management.

I sent this to the hotel manager, Joshua, upon check out on Thursday morning and have not gotten a response. We checked in on Monday, Dec 30 around 8PM and out Thursday, Jan 2

You were the one who met with us on Monday when you no longer had the room we reserved. You did comp the evening and put us in two separate rooms. You told us that we would be put in an upgraded two bedroom the next day. They did put us in a two bedroom but it definitely wasn’t upgraded despite what you had shared with us and I reiterated to the front desk. That evening we discovered that we did not have hot water water and had to take cold showers as we had dinner plans. I shared with the front desk and asked them to have this fixed the next day while we were out of the room. That never happened and we had to take cold showers again. When I checked out the gentleman checking us out just asked if I had reported it to which I said yes but he didn’t seemed bothered at all for our inconvenience or experience. Both days at the beach we had to wait over an hour to get food delivered and when it was, it was cold. We also ordered drinks which typically took 30 minutes to arrive. This was not the experience we had several years ago and it is super disappointing. Many people we met at the beach were complaining of the lack of service. We really like this singer island location and room set up, however; for what we are paying we will think twice before we stay at this property. I wanted to make you aware of the numerous issues so that you can work to ensure the other guests do not have the same issue with their stay.

Definitely NOT worth it for a couples weekend.
January 2025
Yellow water from pipes, disgusting! Guest services response, “that’s how the water is here on Singer Island.” Plus, if going for a couples weekend, search elsewhere. NOT WORTH IT unless, you have kids. Called in advance and was told it was not popular with kids. Dishonest and disappointing. Only one jacuzzi and both pools filled with noise. Beach lounge chairs are saggy and hurt your back. AC turns off automatically during the night so, it’s hot and difficult to sleep. Early morning noise from upstairs moving & housekeeping. Requested Late check out but they were “not able to accommodate.”
Cell phone charging stations did not work. Cleanliness, service and quality of food was good and the bartenders were very nice and accommodating. Came during MLK weekend but was disappointed so, did not stay long. Management provided an instant $400 discount and 10,000 Bonvoy points upon departure as compensation.

The hotel is beautiful but what made our stay enjoyable is absolutely the staff. I work at a Marriott hotel and I must say this has been the best customer service I have ever received in a Marriott property. Starting from the check in experience, Bob and Jillian at the front desk were friendly and professional and made us feel welcome right away. Frank the concierge was super sweet and showed us around since our room wasn’t ready. We went to their ONA restaurant for dinner and were greeted by a young girl with curly hair at the hostess stand, unfortunately I didn’t ask for her name but she was very nice. Agnese, our server was great! She took care of us, gave us recommendations and made sure we were good throughout the dinner. She is very good at what she does! The next morning we went down to the front desk as we had an issue with our room and Raj really turned our experience around. He handled the situation we had very well, he cared, was attentive and also followed up with housekeeping to make sure it was resolved. This is great customer service! Our breakfast server was Roberto and we loved how he took care of us, kept checking on our table making sure we were happy with our food and drinks. Lastly, Osama at the pool bar is a real rockstar! I loved his personality and his attitude is 100% customer oriented.

Our experience at the Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island has been awesome and honestly the staff made it a 10/10 and they should be all recognized for their great work! These people are the reason why we will absolutely be back!

Thank you all for a wonderful stay!

Minor suggestions:

- You should put a body wash/shampoo/conditioner by the tub as well. I wanted to take a nice hot bath but the soaps were only in the showers and could not be moved so I had to use a glass and fill it with body wash to take to the tub.

- I would have liked to have some background music at the outside restaurant for dinner.

We had a 5 night stay during the Honda Classic at this location. We were upgraded to a lovely Ocean View room. The view was straight on, but set back a bit so you saw the pool area and the fire pits, a perfect view for us. The room was comfortable with a small kitchen area with a full sized refrigerator. The furniture on the balcony was very comfortable. There is a washer/dryer in the unit, just remember to bring laundry soap. The unit had a keurig and housekeeping refreshed the coffee daily. The living area had a couch, a chair, a desk with chair and three stools at the kitchen counter. The bathroom had a walk in shower as well as a soaking tub and a makeup mirror.
We enjoyed a cabana for two days. Very comfortable with a cheese and fruit plate, a bottle of champagne and cold water.
I had a facial from Claudia in the Sispa, see separate review, it was great and relaxing.
We enjoyed breakfast in Ocean 3800. Carina is a superb waitress. Platinum and above members can opt for a free daily continental breakfast. I enjoyed it since it has pastry, fruit, cereal, bagels and lox with cream cheese. You also would get coffee and juice. DH would have the All American so he received a $10 credit towards his breakfast. Beautiful views from the restaurant. On the last day I accidentally left my hand bag and she secured it for me.
Two chaise lounges are provided and if extra chairs are needed on the beach, they are $10 a piece plus tax, a reasonable price, versus a place down the beach at $38 for two chairs, no chairs included.
The Wi-Fi worked well, pretty fast.
At 4 pm there are cocktails and snacks in the lobby, last night was a fruit punch with tequila, we did not attend any other nights.
A shout out to Erin for great customer service and to the concierge Frank for his helpfulness and knowledge of the area.
The housekeeping service was thorough and regular, usually at 11:30 - 12. We had plenty of towels, coffee, water.
We would call downstairs to valet when our car was needed and it would be waiting for us by the time we got downstairs.
My only suggestion would be to provide coasters, I was afraid I would damage coffee table placing drinks on it.
We are looking forward to returning to this resort and would highly recommend it.

I'm sure I'm too late but there are basically no rules. The first day, I made my kids go down on their butts the right way. By the end of the week, they were on their stomachs, riding together, etc. and it was fine. No lifeguard is at the top.

Yes. I’m sure they will be very accommodating. You all will have enough to do without leaving the property. The two pools are suitable, especially the 2d one in the rear of the property. The waves at the beach are usually calm enough to go in holding the baby.

I’m fairly sure, the two are the same or, at the very least, indistinguishable. We prefer the intracoastal view which also affords great views of the ocean as well. The nighttime views looking west are beautiful. Looking East to the ocean is simply black. Go for a 2 room condo/suite. Plenty of room for 4 (even more), with equipped kitchen! And the full clothes washer/dryer Allie you to pack light!!! You’ll enjoy!
