This is a superbly located hotel. Most rooms have sea view overlooking Rinella (South area of Salina). The rooms are functional and very nicely furnished from my point of view. They all have a separate terrace with comfortable tables and chairs to enjoy the summer evenings. Food is absolutely incredible. We strongly recommend to have dinner there to taste the real typical, delicate and yet full of flavour, dishes from Salina and Sicily. Breakfast is also very good and offers fresh local fruits as well as a variety of healthy choices and home-made cakes. Melania is a wonderful host. She is personal, caring and attentive to the needs of their customers.

If you are seeking to get away from the trudges of life, or you are looking for somewhere to hideaway with a loved one, or you are seeking adventure whilst having somewhere to rest peacefully in the evening (or even during the day), then this is the place to go. The property is situated at around 200 meters of altitude with breathtaking views of the sea and the neighbouring islands including the sicilian coastline on the horizon. Being in the centre of the village of Leni you have access to all the basic shops that you will likely need during your stay. Service at the hotel is excellent. Michele is wonderful at organising your stay, including booking excursions, activities and transfers. A buffet breakfast ensures that you start the day with a bang. Clean, comfortable rooms. Don't expect the amenities of modern life as due to the nature of where the island is, services like internet and TV may be intermittent. But if you want to get away from it all this is not a bad thing.

We love this excellent hotel very much. Here is very clean and comfortable. Michele, the owner was very helpful and he does a great job at hosting people. It worth the excellent review. we stayed in Solemar Hotal for 2 days. the 1st day we arrive Rinella, the hotel owner Michele picked-up us from Rinella port, introduced the surrounding area and the beautiful salina island, helped us to rent a scooter, etc. almost every thing we want to understand about salina. the last day we left salina, we enjoyed a wonderful lunch in hotel's restaurant. fresh and delicious food. on small drawback is that there is not outside window of the double room. though the weather is comfortable in the evening, we still turn on the air condition while sleeping (while not open the door)
