We stayed for four nights and enjoyed every minute of it. Lovely clean room, delicious breakfasts and excellent staff. What more could you ask for. Because of the location we were able to visit the places we had earmarked for day trips. Free parking offered and always accessible. Cannot fault the establishment. Certainly made our journey worthwhile and would certainly return when next in the area.

We ate in the small cafe which is a pleasant environment and had a seafood salad and a quiche with salad. The salad really was no more than a garnish and the quiche half of a small single portion size. Service pleasant enough but not great value. The biggest disappointment was the 'Farm shop'. There were so many things wrong, some of which I accept could well be because of Covid restrictions but as a so called Welsh Food centre, finding Welsh food was remarkably hard. The baked goods were less inspiring than in a cheap supermarket, no Bara Brith (really?) the cheeses were of very generic varieties and I saw nothing I couldn't buy in a Farm shop or Garden centre anywhere in the country. A huge opportunity lost as I generally walk out of Farm shops £50 the poorer but on this occasion didn't buy a thing. Don't expect too much and you might be ok.

The room was beautiful. Far exceeded our expectations as it was actually more like an apartment. Clean, stylish comfortable and easily five star. Lovely touches made a big difference such as fresh milk in the fridge and small hamper. Breakfast was also very good. Highly recommended.

I came to Bodnant on a passing visit after meeting up with a friend. I was so pleasantly surprised with the quality of food at the Furnace Farmhouse under their new ownership. Also the hot chocolate was one of the best I’d ever had! The Service there is also worth a mention as the staff made you feel welcome the second you arrived. The decor was incredible. I really cannot fault the place, even the staff in the shop were so polite and helpful. We really look forward to returning to yourselves soon. Thanks again!
