Stopped into the Tal-y-cafn last minute to book a Sunday evening meal. Luckily able to get a table and very happy we went. Delicious food, attentive staff and wonderfully chatty host/owner Mike, who even gave us a tour of 2 of the empty boutique bedrooms. Am tempted to stay there overnight in the future, especially in the room with the hot tub!

We booked for lunch last minute. Booking was really easy on the website. On our arrival we were met by a pleasant member of staff who showed us to our table. We ordered from the lite bites menu, food was tasty and well presented. We were well looked after by the staff especially Zoe. Our first visit since the renovations and we will return in the near future.

Fantastic hotel, restaurant and bar. Overnight stay. Rooms high quality. Staff excellent. We ate in onsite restaurant in the evening and food was excellent as was breakfast next morning. Owners should be proud of all their staff. Will definitely return for more than 1 night next time.

This was our first breakfast out in a long time and not the best. First of all the lady who greeted us on the door had no mask on and this was carried on all through our service. Breakfast & Coffee lukewarm, but basically everything was a let down. Porridge was ok but did not come with the topping it stated. Crumpets limp & under cooked and also if you like your breakfast cooked well make sure you double state it cause we did and it still came fresh 🙏

Outstanding rooms, ultra modern! Spotlessly clean. Very upmarket, also great value for money. Great breakfast included. We ate twice in the evening and had excellent food and service at reasonable prices. The staff are so friendly. The assistant manager Reece catered for our every need and even waited on us! Most definitely will return again soon. The scenery is stunning.
