Tavsiye eder miyim? Tabii ki ASLA etmem...

It is really a two star and it is what it deserves. Even though it is called as a hotel actually it is more a motel. Akcakoca is a place a must see and during summer it seems you can spend good times and many days. We were there just in the beginning of October so it was nearly continuously raining. But still because of its greenness and wildness of Blacksea it was a worth visit. The receptionist offered us a special room which was a little bit more expensive but I still found it expensive for week days in October. And unfortunately, breakfast was very standard where things were just packed stuff which you could find in every markets in Turkey.

We stayed here for one night to break the trip from Istanbul to Amasra. The hotel is situated on the road into Akcokoca with very easy access & parking. We had a room on the top floor away from the road so the noise was minimal. The room was a good size with a pleasant view over the lush green valley behind the hotel. Very comfortable bed. The room was very clean, as was the bathroom but... & this was the weird thing, the shower recess was grubby. It appeared as though cleaning duties did not extend to the shower. There were old lumps of soap caked onto the soap holder & mould on the tiles & shower screen. All we could get was lukewarm water. We were a little bemused by the whole thing. Breakfast was ample & filling. The staff were friendly & helpful. H Akcokoca appears to be a town where both the authorities & locals are investing to make it more appealing to capture more of the tourist market (lot of construction / clean up going on) . The locals we met were simply charming & super friendly. There appeared to be plenty of other accommodation options in town so if Otel Vadi wants to compete it will need to clean up it's act a bit more.
