Definitely stay here!!! Edward and Sharon were excellent hosts and tour guides! The chateau is beautiful, food is extraordinary, comfortable beds with exquisite linens. My husband and I and another couple stayed here in October 2019. The other couple have never stayed anywhere other than hotels, so they were unsure of the arrangements. All of us will never forget this trip and the wonderful hospitality of Sharon and Edward. They know every detail of Normandy Battlefields and cemetery, Bayeux, and Mont Saint Michel. We watched documentaries that Edward made about the Normandy invasion before our tour so we had a better understanding of what we would be seeing on our tour. The food and drink were fabulous and plentiful. Conversations were always lively and informative! Because of Edward and Sharon, we are all better people because they are full of experiences and information. They are an inspiration to always do better and try different things, but always be a sponge for information. Thank you for providing us with memories of a lifetime, Eddie and Sharon!

Eddie and Sharon exceeded our expectations in every way possible. Felt like we were in a movie for our 4 night stay with attention to detail in everything! It started with their beautiful chateau furnished with collections from all over the world. Our Asian room was so spacious and comfortable with a very updated ensuite bathroom. The windows look out on a lovely countryside setting and views of their groomed gardens. Each evening at 7pm drinks are served in the living room and we have amazing conversations about everything. Eddie prepped us for our next day tour so we had some context before our 1st outing. As we were celebrating our 50th anniversary they also toasted us with French champagne our first night. Our full days with Eddie at both Omaha and Utah beaches were filled with both the big picture and then interesting details about the invasion both before and after. Our questions were answered in a way we could understand and get a picture of how these events took place. Tours of the cemeteries were very impactful and beautiful with Eddie pointing out some special graves and the history. Sharon was very professional and has a delightful sense of humor. She was our guide for Mont St Michel and filled us with history and stories all along the way. With Sharon we were able to whiz pass all the big tour groups and be up close and personal with the highlights of this unique structure. Her knowledge of the historic tapestries of Bayeux is remarkable and made our viewing even more remarkable. Our meals were fabulous and table conversations again engaging and entertaining. Our stay was memorable in everyway and we can't imagine a more enchanting stay or informative tour of Normandy than being hosted by both Eddie and Sharon. Memories to last a lifetime! Thank you Eddie and Sharon!!

We brought our 19 year old grandson to France in May, and had the unique privilege of staying with Eddie and Sharon for 4 days. We were immersed in the understated grandeur of their Chateau...and toured Mont St Michel, all of the beaches of D Day , Pegasus Bridge , and the cathedral and historic tapestries of Bayeux. Eddie, now retired Colonel form the Royal Marines is a well trained mentor of military tactics...and highly capable of sharing in his entertaining manner. Sharon ,with her background in history, also excels. We laughed, and we ate well, and slept in wonderful chateau splendour....a thousand thanks to Eddie and Sharon

We just returned from spending four nights at the Chateau de Beaulieu where we had three rooms, three couples, and had reserved the full package and Normandy Battlefield Tours. Hosts Sharon and Eddie Parks are the most attentive and gracious hosts and the whole experience was delightful. Their knowledge of the area is second to none, (Royal British Marines Lieutenant Colonel ) Eddie’s in depth knowledge of WWII , his ability to communicate it to guests, and his professionalism are superior in every way and he is the gold standard when it comes to Normandy WWII tours. We enjoyed delicious meals, wonderful times around their table, Sharon and Eddie work extremely hard to make the experience a most memorable one and ,just like Eddie , Sharon is a knowledgeable and experienced guide who takes great care of her guests. It was the warmest of experience, and we will recommend it to all our friends who visit Normandy. We will be returning to cover more of the Normandy WWII sites and will stay with great pleasure at the Chateau de Beaulieu. Thank you Sharon and Eddie for taking such good care of us and our special guests.
