Many good things about this resort, but sad to say a few average things as well. Location is great, really private, pools nice, breakfast, only average as well, and dinner, gets a bit boring after a while. Could easy be a much higher rating , with a little effort, and I do understand times have be tough, but you are paying top dollar, and receiving not top dollar service
Place: Very Relaxing Room: We stayed in villa super comfortable bed and pillow, aircondition is perfect, shower is perfect, everything is well Pool: 5/5 i love the villa pool! Food: Breakfast just average 3/5. All food is just OK compare to the nearest resort .Dinner 4/5 Staff: Very Nice Service:Everything is Perfect except frontdesk during check in.
We went based on a recommendation from friends and were not disappointed. The bed was sooo comfortable. The staff was attentive, helpful, responsive, and well everything. We loved being up off the beach for beautiful views. I can't say enough about the hotel -- best customer service we have had in our time in the Philippines (we live here).
My wife and I stayed in Amorita from 12-15 March 2022. It gets a conditional 5 out of 5 from me. Conditional, because it's not perfect. Its imperfections, however, are redeemable. These imperfections are: 1) There were a lot of mosquitoes in our room. However, when we told the front desk about it, they gave us a bug spray, a plug-in insect repellent, and citronella lotion at once. The mosquitoes weren't a problem anymore after that. 2) The first couple of times we requested for something, we had to follow-up before we were attended to. It's not a big deal--as you will see below, Amorita more than made up for it. These imperfections are overshadowed by all the positive qualities: 1) Customer service is admirable. The staff were all courteous and helpful. Shoutout to Harry, Bert, Diane, and Leo. 2) Beautiful grounds. Peaceful, calming 3) Easy access to the beach. 4) Loved the complimentary water activities (kayak, paddle board) 5) It's really near the airport 6) Transport from the airport and back was not a problem at all. If you're looking for a luxurious place to stay in Panglao, choose Amorita.…
I’m currently in Amorita so let me give you the good, the bad and the ugly review. The Good: ! It’s really peaceful and calming in our villa. We have a small private pool with jets which we can enjoy anytime of the day. 2. The staff is friendly and courteous. The Bad: 1. We booked for the island hopping so it means there’s snorkeling involved but they don’t provide fins like Shangrila did . I understand the snorkel and mask might not be hygienic during the pandemic but some fins would be good especially when swimming with turtles or whale shark. 2. I have gluten and dairy intolerance plus a long list of allergies I gave to the resort almost a week before we arrived to give them time to prepare. They even emailed me back a menu reassuring me that the dishes in said menu followed my allergy list. They did follow but only on the 1st day. The next few days were horrific. My food were either just doused with cups of salt alone or overcooked. And worse, they would constantly not read the allergy list and add ingredients that I’m allergic to. As of the moment, I’ve waited for my lunch for more than an hour. 3. Paddle Boarding. We booked this as well. Warning: They will not give you paddle boards or even sometime to teach you. They’ll just give you regular surf boards and a paddle. The Ugly: We found out that the sous chef and the chef didn’t coordinate so when one took over, they just followed the menu and not my allergy list. Good thing I was careful and noticed they put an allergen in my food (2nd day) and didn’t eat it. I informed the front desk but they didn’t seem to have informed the chef. On the 3rd day, it’s the same thing and I’m now very hangry. Word of advice: If you have any allergies, please do not come to Amorita. You will be constantly worried or suffering instead of enjoying your vacation. A shout out to Prime, who catered to the family’s every need. Unfortunately, he can’t control the front desk and F&B.…
