Would say that I am happy but I am not because I am not with my family this time. Come here for work and there are mixed feelings.
As Fil-Am citizen I was expecting little bit more out of this property but seems like that is over and over and over again with the same things in Hennan. Didn't change at all from my last visit.
Buffet breakfast, I didn't enjoy the room service for my dinner and the pool seems very dirty for me. I hope that the management will address properly this issues. Other than that, good to be back in Panglao.

I went with my husband to bohol to celebrate our 20th anniversary and was recommended by our guide who made the reservations for us to stay at white and green resort. We stayed at room 12 and the beach is just a few steps away from our cottage.. The room is very basic and simple with air conditioner. Only towels, a packet of conditioner and shampoo is provided. We paid php2000 for a night which works out to S$60 inclusive of simple breakfast. The breakfast consists of fried eggs, rice and either 2 sausage or corn beef. There's only cold shower and the water is hard (salty). The resort offered free water and coffee at their dining area. Their menu is very simple, each dish cost between php140 to 190 which is cheaper than the other resorts restaurants along the beach. Do remember that every dish you ordered comes with a rice, which means that if you were to order 3 dishes, you will get 3 rice. I highly recommend pancit bihon (Tang hoon) which is really nice and this too comes with a rice. My husband ordered this twice. There's only 1 vegetable on the menu and that is Chop Suey (mixed vegetables) which is quite nice. There's no other food stalls available as it is about 15mins by foot on rocky paths if you were to venture out. Wifi is available at the dining area only though you might not be able to get the connection all the time. I would said that this place is quite laid back, where you do nothing but just enjoy the beach and relax..
The beach is nice though it is difficult to walk out as their many corals and rocks along the shore lines. There's another 2 other resorts along the shoreline, mainly bohol beach club and dumaluan beach resort which is pretty crowded, these 2 resorts seem pretty popular with the locals there. On our way back, we asked our guide to drop us at the city where we had their grilled chicken and that was cheap and good.. Mang Inasal. We had barbecued pork stick and pecho (grilled chicken) with rice and it only costs php190 in total and the chicken is really good. We also tried their Halo Halo (local ice-cream) which is like singapore version of ice kachang..which is not too bad, only php49. Best of all, the rice is unlimited and there's this waitress carrying a bucket of rice asking if patrons need top ups..
We enjoyed ourselves in our island hopping trip which includes snorkeling though i was a bit disappointed that there's no dolphin in sight.. but otherwise, the trip is quite relaxing with 2 afternoons frees.. We went to the countryside and panglao tour too. We went to the bohol bee farm and personally i would recommend staying there as there's ocean view rooms and activities and tours for families with kids. They offer pickups from ferry to and from the resort for free and rates for a ocean view room is about php3000 inclusive of breakfast..
By the way, I'm from Singapore.. and I hope this review will be of some help. At the very least, you know what to expect..

The price is fair enough since the rooms is beachfront and good for honeymooners because it is very quiet. Staff are very friendly but I think they must at improve the following

1. breakfast - not so enticing plated meals
2. CR. - water are smell like the seawater and the doors and fixtures are rusty and old

Cockroaches in the room, dirty and smelly bed sheets when we came to the resort, cleaning lady was cleaning next room before 6am so noisy, that my bed was shaking... Older, not comfortable wet rooms, not possible to ventilate without air-condition, which is placed right over your head by bed... Resort is nice just from outside and the beach is nice too if it's clean, but you have to use shoes to the water and go far away to swim...

Absolutelly terrible!

Only after we made the booking and asked about the direction, they wrote to us that the route to the resort is complicated and that we should go to one of the neighboring resorts and walk along the beach. No one informed us in advance that we have to pay 100 pesos per person for a 50m passage through the resort and then drag our luggage in sand and sea during high tide.

The room was one of the worst during my entire time of traveling to more than 50 countries of the world.
(I srayed in 2 USD places). DIRTY, SMELY and MOULDY. The shower was broken, the toilet was broken so the water was spilling everywhere and the bathroom was constantly full of water and smelled of urine. The air conditioning worked, but it was not cleaned and rusted, and while on you could feel the mold sticking to your lungs. Holes everywhere (ceiling, windows, entrance door) so insects easily got in).

Customer service horrible. Drinking water only available at reception. We repeatedly walk there but everytime was close, so no water to drink.
Next door karaoke till 2am and loud drum music from 7am.

Absolutelly dissapointing experience.

A local driver said this was a good place. Not so, no easy Access it's a good walk about 10 minutes no real road. Standard room is all thatwas a available. Small room, noisy air con CR not flushing properly. Towels were safer thin. Don't clean rooms daily or change bedding unless you requested it. Restaurant ... Well the food was decent, bit they close at 9 and turn out the lights even if you're still there. Pool looked unclean so I didn't chance it. Staff mostly helpful. Overall you get what you for, so don't expect much. On the beach is the best feature. Won't be going back.

We initially booked in a different resort nearby but there was a problem with our agoda booking and we were disappointed at first to be transferred to Whites and Greens Resort because photos online were disappointing we were surprised that it was renovated and much better than the original resort we were eyeing. The staff were very accommodating and even gave us tips on how to avoid booking problems in the future. We availed of the complimentary breakfast but decided to explore nearby restaurants for dinner since the selection of food in their restaurant is quite limited. perhaps because it is still undergoing renovation. It is a blessing in disguise to be transferred here because it is very quite and serene unlike other resorts that are crowded or have non-stop videoke which would disturb your peace and quite.

stayed here for 3days jan 2014. we booked a tour with accomodation in whites and greens. we were very excited to see the place, when we saw the reviews in TA. there were many good reviews, so we thought that this is a good pick.place is nice, but the room where we stayed was very horrible. a family native cottage, with 2 rooms and a dining room with a sala area. first- the room stinks, its smells like an old room with molds. second- the comfort room's ceiling was filled up with molds, window jalousies were broken. third- the bed was so ugly, it's like a coffin, white tabla with thin foam, blankets were butas butas and provided us a thin and dirty pillow.fourth- the door knob of our room is full of rust. fifth- the sala and dining room was so dim and u can see a lot of mosquitoes flyingaround. sixth- we arr8ved at the resort around 3pm, and we were all hungry, because we just finished the first day tour, so we decided to have lunch at the resort, since w and g is a resort, we believe that for sure theres a resto where wecan have a lunch, unfortunately, when we got there,no food available, we were told that the only food availble was 1order of chicken, 1order of shrimp, and 1order of eggplant, since it was the only available, we order itand waited for 1.5hours, and charged as around 700 pesos. not worth it :( people around the resort was nice and accomodating, the resort has a potential to invite more guests even foreigners, if they would repair their rooms, and provode more comfortable stays. rates was not that affordable nor cheap for that kind of accomodation.we will go back to bohol soon, but will NEVER stay at whites and greens.
