The rooms are quite large, the aircon is effective, the staff are friendly. The beds are comfortable, but my wife did struggle with the pillows a little until she found the one that worked. There are just the twelve rooms so it is small, but worked perfectly for us staying for a month.

Did not try the breakfast, as it seemed a little expensive compared to other places. There are no cooking facilities in the room.

There are the sort of issues you'd expect anywhere in the Philippines, such as barking dogs, chickens crowing, power outages - but these are not under their control and happen pretty much everywhere.

They have a tie in with a diving school just down the beach.

Beware…. As cash is king to the owner as there is no other way to pay……and up front before arrival. There are no credit card facilities available. There were a few problems with the resort, toilet paper could not be flushed down the toilet, for some reason, unexplained, there were tiny little bugs in the room. Although the beach was near, there was no pool like nearby competitors offered. The room size , air conditioning, room servicing , staff and breakfast offerings were excellent

I stayed here for approximately two weeks and had the misfortune of experiencing the change of management. The place changed from organized to unorganized. Staff changed from relaxed and friendly to stressed and unhappy. Some staff even quit as a result of the new management.

There are many other hotels, hostals and resorts in the immediate area. I highly recommend staying at any other location before staying here.

We stayed here for one night on the way to Cebu and can honestly say it’s an excellent base for anyone spending time at Alona Beach. We didn’t have time to take diving lessons but the setup here is very professional and we spoke to some European divers who had high praise.
The girls at check in were so happy and friendly they really are a credit to the Hotel. It’s about 1 minute walk to the beach and 2-3 mins from restaurants and bars of Alona Beach. Rooms were clean, spacious, good aircon and great WiFi. Highly recommend.

We were two couples looking for a place to stay at Alona Beach last minute and found this prizewortht place. I could recommend this pittoresk style hotel to you guys that want to stay at a cozy cheap place close to the restaurants and beach but still quiet and relaxing. I was surprise that the had a safteybox. At first our shower didn't work but that wasnt a huge problem since they quickly changed our room. The aircon is working but since it's a little old school it's not the most quiet one.

Hi elmif2015, Thanks for taking your time to write us a comment. I'm glad you liked our place. I feel the inconvenience of the shower, sometimes being so close to the sea maintenance is continuous, but I am glad that they will solve it soon.

Clean, affordable, functional, no frills but perfectly adequate for a dive vacation. Very friendly staff and very convenient beach access. Stayed for 5 nights and would’ve stayed longer if there was availability.
