The bad thing first. No signposting showing the way to the property at the main road, so took a couple of wrong turns till we finally found someone we could seek directions from! Then came the (very) steep drive to the property from the main road, actually three segments of it. Thankfully there was no vehicle coming down while we throttled up!!!

Reception was seamless and we were ushered to a spacious and tastefully done contemporary room with all the expected amenities. Loved the balcony overlooking the lush greens and a few cottages.

The buffet breakfast was good with the expected variety of South Indian fare and the western basics. We had one major meal at the restaurant. Enjoyed what we ordered and the cost was reasonable.

Must appreciate the courteous staff in all departments. Overall, a very well managed property!

This is a new resort. They have all the usual things a good resort should have like lots of open spaces, park for kids, pretty big play room with snooker table, carom, chess, badminton, table tennis, etc., What differentiates them from others is the quality of service. Right from the time of booking the hotel via their travel desk till check out their service is impeccable. Every person right from receptionist to the people working in restaurant and room service were amazing. They always make you feel special and taken care of. Any family or newly wed couple looking to spend some peaceful time can stay here. This resort is a bit out of city. Also the temperature here is 1 or 2 deg more than the temperature in munar city. Its the only Con of this place. People who love peace with no noise and calm atmosphere would love this place. Scope of improvement is there in restaurant. They could add more variety in lunch and snacks in evening. Some food which has same name in Tamil Nadu is different in taste and style in kerala. For example chilly chicken in TN is mostly dry. But in kerala its full gravy. It would be better if they inform regarding the same while customers order as we were not aware of it and were first time visitors to kerala. The north indian dish's in this resort is amazing(especially butter chicken and naan). Food is good but still feel they can do slight changes and make it great. Over all anyone wanting to get away from hectic city life can go to this place. Would highly recommend this place for the kind of service they provide Its 100% value for the money. You will feel good more than anything else when you are at this place due to the care and service which they provide.

One of the good choice for a weekend getaway for families or friends groups. Nothing to regret.beautiful cottages and rooms, with beautiful balcony view of mountains, and sunset. The Pool ,the recreation area camp fire well maintained and ,hygienic Infinity pool with breathtaking view of mountains.
Excellent room service with all luxuries provided . Food and service at the restuarent is also need to be mentioned,be it morning buffet or lunch or dinner buffet everything is excellent.
Also the waterfalls and adventure park and many other sight seeing spots near to the location of the resort is also need to be mentioned
All together it makes a wonderful experience.

Elephant Passage Resort in Munnar exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The lush surroundings created a serene atmosphere, and the resort's commitment to eco-friendly practices was evident. The rooms were not only spacious and tastefully decorated but also offered breathtaking views of the surrounding hills. The staff's hospitality was outstanding, ensuring a warm and welcoming stay. The on-site restaurant served delectable local cuisine, adding a culinary delight to the overall experience. The resort's attention to detail and commitment to providing a memorable stay make it a standout choice for those seeking tranquility in the midst of nature

It was an awesome experience at the Elephant Passage Resort...Perched atop a hill this Resort gives you a breathtaking view of the valley. The Resorts ambience connected us to mother nature and its classy room decor made our stay comfortable. The Resort staff especially the GM Ms Meena went overboard to pamper us even guiding us about other information we needed during our stay. Thanks to Chef Selvyn and his staff we could taste some authentic Kerela food needless to say the the quality of food was super. We strongly recommend this Resort for a minimum 3 night stay and we take fond memories of Kerela and its people thanks to this Resort.
Best wishes to the Management and staff of the Elephant Passage Resort,Munnar.

A beautiful location and lovely views but this is where the praise stops. We were initially allocated a room opposite reception which we refused owing to noise. The room we were moved to was clean, spacious but musty. The pool is freezing and not enough beds are available. The hotel does not have a bar or alcohol licence which should be stated on the website. This was quite a shock on new year’s eve! On arrival we tried to get lunch. Most items on the menu were unavailable. The service was shocking- we waited over an hour for food which was bland. We asked several times for coffee which eventually arrived and was undrinkable. The new year’s eve dinner was served in a soulless banquet room. The chefs did their best but dinner was served with water! The new year’s day dinner was equally poor - on both nights we were in bed by 9pm! It is a very remote location so no chance of a local restaurant. I would avoid at all costs!

The resort is located in a picturesque area surrounded by mountains. The rooms are very spacious, clean and well-maintained. The staff are very friendly and courteous, which made our stay much more pleasant. We could see the sunrise and sunset from our 1-bedroom cottage. The breakfast is complimentary and includes a variety of dishes, along with fresh fruit and juices. There is a variety of food choices available for lunch and dinner. The food quality is very good. The resort has infinite swimming pool which was really spectacular, we enjoyed infinite pool view to the core . The brealfast area is surrounded a beutiful mountain senerio can be seen from there while taking breakfast. Everything in this hotel is so perfect , looking forward to visit again . mark this location as a mandatory plan when you visit Munnar.

Just a lovely place to stay.

Great rooms and stunning scenery from all angles.

The staff, especially the ladies in the dining room really make you feel so welcome and cared for.

A few points to note, you will need a car to get to the place, there is no bar and as it is quite isolated, you can't get out if you want a drink. Also, the 20xx rooms can be really noisy, so ask for the ones at the back with the 21xx numbers.

If you are in Munnar area, why stay anywhere else?

Stunning location and incredible views from the infinity pool. But not quite 5*.

The tea/coffee in the rooms is basic, considering it is classed as a 5* hotel i would expect more than Nescafé instant sachets. And considering all the wonderful tea plantations in the area its a real shame the teabags provided were Tetley tea bags and not locally sourced.

The rooms are large and clean, although a little dated. Breakfast starts at 8am so if you have an early hike or leaving early you will miss it, like i did both days i was there, they do a packed breakfast but it is a vegetable sandwich which does not sound appetising . It would have been good to have breakfast start at 7am like most hotels do.

lunch and dinner was great throughout.

There is a bonfire everynight at 7-8pm - which sounds nice but the incredibly loud and very bass heavy music kind of kills the chill vibes for a bit.

I can recommend this hotel, just a heads up on the breakfast,
