I'm very excited when arrived the hotel. It's very complete with all necessary. body wash, shampoo, conditioner which is normal for a hotel, they even provide toner, moisturiser, body lotion and even hair lotion! But it's too noisy to have a good rest here...

Must stay there at least once. Ideal for late arrivals into Tokyo; stay there for the first night, then move to the Hilton. Don't forget to bring or buy earplugs at the reception; there's a background melody mixing music from the karaoke bars and soring.

I highly recommend this. Such a cool experience! Stayed here 2 nights and enjoyed all of it. Bathhouse is awesome, good-lockers and clean place. Loved it. Will be back and highly recommend. Was hard to fine had to ask a local and still had a hard time. You have to take an elevator up to the lobby! Dont stop until...

I've stayed in a number of capsule hotels, and this one is OK but nothing special. On the plus side the location is great, they have good English signage and staff who speak some English. I found my capsule to bit a bit shorter than others I have used and I needed to sleep diagonally (I'm 183cm). It also didn't...

The staff never made me feel welcome. They were unhelpful and always got the feeling they just didn't want any geijin (outsiders) there. I asked if I could leave my bags there and they said that was fine and when I returned and a different staff member was on the counter he extorted me to pay for leaving my bags....

i stayed 1 night in this hotel. It located in central area of shinjuku, very closed to train and bus station. There were many facilities provided; public bath, sauna, amity kits. The capsule was not too bad, comfortable.

Located in the district of Kabuki, a source of entertainment nightly. Not far from the train station. The staff are so many people. Good service. This hotel is ideal for you to leave early. Not for the last night of the trip, because you need to pack. Beverage machine cheaper than in the hotel.

I have stayed at this capsule hotel more than a few times already and I never seem to get tired of it. It is right smack in the middle of the actions. Very very very clean. Comfortable and surprisingly, it has complete amenities.

Bit tricky to find but only 10 minutes from Shinjuku Station, well worth the authentic Japanese experience. Fun, clean, good amenities, well organised, cosy lengthways capsules with TV & Radio, medium size lockers provided, nice mix of locals & travellers, cheap and very handy to nightlife (great bars & restaurants but steer clear of the Nigerian spruikers) and transport inc....

I had been to Japan before so, seeing as I was only in town for 24 hours this time around, I really just needed a place to lay my head for the night. I had heard of capsule hotels and had always been curious to experience one myself. This place is very difficult to find-there is no visible sign from...

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
