Very cute, warm , small and petite lobby . Lobby would be the size of a large bedroom with a small sit out ( about 2 sofas) and desk . People at the desk are super friendly . Most can understand English at the desk and one of the front desk lady speaks impeccable english ( she stayed in US for few years ). I stayed in such a small room for the first time. If you are travelling with 2 suitcase, there is probably no space to put both of them. I didnt like the bed though : wrought iron bed , bit creaky and shaking. I personally like beds that you can sit and lean on while reading ... not possible here. The room lighting is very dim and i have never seen such small bathrooms/ shower before. The railway station is 10 minutes walk, many eateries right in front ( local japanese, turkish, Indian, american diner, Thai food ... most options available ). Shibuya…
This hotel is in a wonderful location, was a great value for Tokyo, is unique and the staff were helpful and very kind. I would absolutely stay here again. Be aware however that depending on the direction you are heading (coming to and from the train station for example) you must use the elevated crosswalk, typical all over Shibuya, but just be aware.
Our second stay at the Sakura Fleur this year, was here in January. Great little hotel and very reasonable prices for such a great area 10 min walk to Shibuya station. Great staff and so quiet we take a room in front with view and no traffic noise at all. Rooms are good for Japan small but have everything you need, suck it up princess enjoy good Japanese services and hospitality.
This hotel was just what I needed. It was quaint and located close to Shibuya Station. The staff were nice and helpful. The room was simple and had everything that I needed. And, most importantly, it was clean!
Five minutes walk for Shibuya Station and famed crosswalk. Cannot beat the location for the price (we usually get a room for under AUD200 -dep on exchange of course). We’ve been going to Tokyo once a year for ten years and we try other hotels (like to try different locales) but this is our fave. Pros - location, location, location - great shopping nearby, fab restaurants and convenience store downstairs. Staff are fantastic: polite and efficient. English is good. Clean rooms. Free water. Cons-room size is typical for Tokyo, you have to leave room so they can clean (but who wants to stay in your room in Tokyo) . . . In all I highly recommend Sakura. I like its quirkiness—if you want an American-style blandish room then maybe this isn’t for you....
We spent 7 days in this hotel in september. The hotel is located near the shibuya station (around 10 min by feet if you walk slowly). It is very quiet and well equiped (toothbrush, rasor, shampoo, hand soap, a real hair dryer, pyjamas, slippers etc etc). All you need is furnished ! The reception staff is always at disposal, smiling, and very helpful ! They will do everything they can to help you. A bottle of water is furnished everyday, which is very pleasant ! A 7 eleven is located near the hotel, 2 min by feet. The only negaive point for me was the curtain. Indeed, the light is passing through it just as if there were no curtains at all! So, the sun woke us up everyday at 5.30 a.m ...
We stayed at Sakura Fleur Aoyama for our first 4 nights in Japan and had a great start to our trip. Our flight landed very early in the morning and we were prepared to wait around until check-in at 3pm however the staff ever so graciously allowed us access to our room as soon as it was clean (which we very much appreciated as we were beyond tired!) Throughout our stay the staff were all incredibly friendly and attentive, always asking if you needed anything, offering fresh bottled water when returning to your room etc. we would definitely say that the staff here really make the hotel something special. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and I would say a little larger than quite a few in Japan. We received fresh towels and toiletries outside our door everyday even when turning down the room cleaning service which was appreciated. Location wise the hotel is great, only a 5-10 minutes walk to Shibuya station and crossing and all the shops and restaurants. For the price point, I think this is a great little hotel. We were sad to leave and would definitely recommend to others, and stay again if we are ever back in Tokyo.…
It was our first time visiting Japan as a family of 5. We found the staff most helpful (& in English) with suggestions and practical tips on food, travel, places to visit and making the most of our days. This was really helpful in getting oriented with Tokyo and make the most of our days. Our room was a good sized double room and spotlessly clean bath. It has a cute European themed cafe, handy to take a breather during the day. Location wise it could be a 10 minute walk to Shibuya station, depending on which entrance you need to get to. With luggage we used a taxi which was approx a £4 ride.
Budget priced, clean, modern, gracious hosts and as a bonus the room was a little bit larger than average. Would stay here again without hesitation. One thing we are always happy to find is a place where you can open the window so you can avoid running the AC while sleeping. Only small caveat is the uphill walk and then hauling your luggage up and over a pedestrian bridge from the Shibuya Station. Take east exit from Shibuya Station, hopefully you'll see the Shibuya Hikarie when you pop up. That is east and you want to head up the main street with the Hikarie on your right. It is only a short walk to the bridge which drops you off right in front of the hotel. Someone noted that if you really can't handle the stairs, just continue NE on the main street a little further (near the 7-11) and there is regular intersection to cross. To catch the subway we would usually walk to the Omote-Sando Station. A little further, but a pleasant walk to avoid the massive Shibuya Station.…
This hotel is only five minutes from Shibuya Station by food. The staff is really nice and longing to help you whatever you want, the room size is enough for two on a 10 days holiday and everyday you get a clean room and new sleeping clothes. Our room had also a little refrigerator so that there was no problem to bring with you some drinks etc. although you got every day free water at the reception. At first we were a little bit worried about the noise of the big street just in front of the hotel, but we didn´t hear anything from that street or other hotel guests. We booked without breakfast but nevertheless tried it one morning and this was quite good as well.
