I stayed at the Mitsui Garden Otemachi for 5 nights for work. The location was super convenient for meetings in Otemachi Financial District but also very convenient for touring the city. Otemachi station is 1/2 block away, Kanda Station is a 6-min walk and Tokyo Station is a 10-min walk, I used all 3 stations multiple times. I stayed in a Moderate Double which was very typical of a Tokyo business-quality hotel: small, meticulous room with double bed pushed up against one wall, carpeted, small bathroom. The mattress was on the very firm side which again is typical. My room overlooked a major road and yet was completely soundproof.
The front desk staff were very helpful with restaurant reservations, directions, ordering taxis, etc. All staff spoke at least a little English. I also liked that reception is on the ground level (versus being mid-way up a high rise building).
This hotel was very affordable particularly when compared to hotels in neighbouring Marunouchi which is less than 10 mins walk away. I would stay here again.

Good solid extremely clean hotel in a great location - numerous subway lines run nearby going through Otemachi Station and 10ish minutes walk to Tokyo Station as well as the Imperial Palace grounds. We stayed in a superior room (there aren't many of these per floor) and I was initially a bit concerned about noise due to the construction going on across the street. No worries - we heard nothing. Great breakfast with plenty on offer which changed daily. Staff were super helpful - bonus laundry rooms have directions in English so it's easy to pack lightly if you choose. A first for me, also used the airporter luggage service (flier at the hotel) to transport our bags to Haneda and store them from the hotel so that we could walk the Nakasendo Trail with just a carry on. I recommend this affordable hotel and would stay again with the Mitsui Garden Hotel group - maybe next time in one which has a gym which many of them don't offer. Book directly on their website for member prices.

My partner and I stopped here for three nights and it was a decent hotel in a decent location.
The check in was easy, the rooms were small however this is not unusual for rooms in Tokyo. Internet worked well within the hotel.
We were on the eleventh floor and had a good view. The rooms were soundproofed well and we didn’t hear any traffic or noise from other guests.
It served a purpose, it’s more in the business side of Tokyo but had easy access to the Tokyo Train Station and surrounding areas.
We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel and for evening meals the hotel is in close proximately to Tokyo Train Station which has the Ramen Street located within. There is also a 7/11 close by to the hotel.
I would stop here again but there are other areas of Tokyo I would rather stop at when visiting the City in the future.

Lovely comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Hotel is walking distance from Tokyo station. Rooms are small but have everything you need including and iron and ironing board which is essential when travelling and living out of a suitcase. There is free tea, coffee and biscuits available in the breakfast area which was a bonus. In all a good hotel so would recommend.

Nice small hotel in the financial district. Transport links were close by and within a few minutes you are surrounded by bars and restaurants. Also very near the river and a flyover but it didn’t affect our stay and gave us something to look at out of our wonder. We did not include breakfast but it did look good. Staff were helpful.

The hotel is close to the metro (Otemachi station) which is a plus point to me, walking distance to 7/11. Room is not too spacious although that’s what you should expect in most hotels in Japan. I wasn’t able to use my hair iron (due to different voltage) and Mitsui is lending me one.. but they told me to pick up downstairs by myself (I honestly expect a more personal service since it’s not really a budget hotel - based on its room rate). Overall it was a good stay though I expected more.

We stayed in two hotels in Tokyo and found this to be significantly better than the other.
The hotel is well located, close to the Tokyo Train station, and on the Marunouchi Line (connecting to the Shinjuku Shopping district), we found it quiet none-the-less, even during rush hour.
The breakfast buffet was good and has a pleasant, relaxed vibe. Shower and toilet facilities were also of a high standard.
The staff admirably demonstrate Japan's famed courtesy and efficiency.

The best part of this hotel is the location. It's about 10 min walk from Tokyo station and 3-4 min from Otemachi metro.
The rooms are on the smaller size (normal for Tokyo) and are clean and comfortable. Free wifi was good. Free cans of water in the mini fridge was nice. Downsides included the temperature control in the room wasn't working, and the double bed was pushed against the wall so had to climb out of the bed.
Reception was nice and friendly. Spoke English. Allowed us to store our luggage before our room was ready and after we checked out.

Great stay. Staff were all hugely helpful and polite, as all service industry staff seem to be in Tokyo. What a difference to some places in the world!
Room was good standard and comfortable. Not huge but just fine for a few nights. Kept very clean. Staff pointed me to local things I needed and helped with luggage and taxis.
Breakfast was a bit odd to my tastes - cold curried cauliflower and cold roasted veg. Plus scrambled egg and various other things. But they had croissants and cereal. So all was OK.
Really great hotel in a central location, for the price. Much more competitive prices than London. Would happily stay again, if I got the chance. Tokyo is an incredible city.

We stayed for a couple of days before joining a Christmas cruise out of Yokohama.
The location was the main attraction , being close to Tokyo station making transport from the airport, access to tourist. Areas and transport to Yokohama easy .
The staff were welcoming & spoke English (important to us as first time visitors to Japan with very little Japanese language)
The room and hotel were typical comfortable and international 4 star standard.

Yes, we don’t speak any Japanese and got by just fine. The staff speak fluent English so you should be good.

You can take the limousine bus from Haneda airport until the Tokyo station (3100 Japanese yens per person, 40 minutes) and then walk for 10 minutes until our Mitsui Garden Hotel Otemachi (Or take a taxi if you have a lot of luggage, 1000 Japanese yens, 2 minutes).
It will be the best option if you want to travel ealily and without any expensive cost.
