Me and my wife stayed at site. It was very confortable and clean..shower went really bad, almost didn't. That was only bad thing of the stay! We chose this hostel as base camp for one day trip at Bohol and enyoied two nights in there. Recommended if you don't mind location in the busy town and bad running shower.

The newly added building is very clean and spacious. Water pressuer is good which is a nice change (low pressure is a common problem around bohol). Having the kettle in the room is a nice touch for those who likes to have their tea or coffee anytime. The only thing that might need to be worked on is the smoking area right at the front of the building. For those who has issues with smoke like me who gets easily irritaed by it, sneezing my head off right away, the smoke from outside does get in next door even when door is closed. Could be from the sides where the a/c was installed since it wasn't tightly sealed? I don't know but everytime the guy next door smokes, our room smells. we have to keep the exhaust fan running in the bathroom and kept the bathroom door and the jalousy at the top of bathroom open to vent it out.

My husband and I love this place, it's new, very clean, and affordable. The shower is separated by a curtain, which is nice. Close to the port. They have a nice common area to relax. Friendly welcoming staff.

Room is cheap yet very clean. Wifi Signal is strong in all rooms. Walking distance to Airport. Better choose rooms in newly opened building. The place is also near shopping malls . Staffs are also accommodating.

Price was very affordable. At first, I thought it would be substandard due to the price. And there was I, surprised to see that the room was like 1200php-ish or up according to my experience. Keep up being affordable please. Room was clean and organized. Towels were changed when requested on the 2nd day. Strong aircon (I meant able to cool the room in few minutes). Neat linen. Forceful shower. Friendly reception. Excellent wifi strength. This is not part of a promotion. :)

This place is good enough. They'll pick you up from the airport or pier which is convenient. I stayed in a deluxe room which was right off the lobby. It was okay. Big enough, some underpowered LED lights. Bathroom was also alright. The air conditioning is a window unit which isn't completely sealed so it battles the hot air. There is no restaurant on-site and contrary to another review I read, the staff didn't seem all that friendly or helpful. There is a mall just down the street and around the corner. Overall, for the price paid, I can't really complain. The place served its purpose.

This is a converted house with a few rooms; while we were staying it was having more rooms added which caused quite a bit of noise from 8:30am - not ideal - there was an apology notice but we only found out about the extension work taking place after we arrived there. I wore earplugs as the air con is extremely loud too, so it didn't interrupt my sleep anyway. The staff there are lovely, greeting you every time you enter the hotel or leave your room, they brought the fridge from the lobby into our room so we could cool our drinks and provided ice for an injury that happened while we were adventuring! We hired a motorbike from here too, for 600 pesos a day, which we used for three days and they provided two helmets for us too. No problems with the bike or the hire. We were also able to extend our stay by one night no problem, paying for everything on our penultimate night. Lovely staff from start of our stay and throughout. The bathroom provides shampoo and soap, the shower is a bit weak but has hot water and does the job fine! The only downside to the bathroom - and this was only in the bathroom - were some ants around the sink and shower. Sometimes there were none, sometimes quite a few but didn't really cause issues - there was a separate shelf for each which they left alone so toothbrushes etc were safe from any 'antics' :P There's also a great little bakery right on the corner of the street called 'Deli Bread' - we loved the chocolate rings (5 pesos each). Dayview doesn't have its own restaurant but there are a few restaurants/cafes within walking distance, one of which was Gerarda's (around 10 min walk) which was an amazing restaurant, no1 restaurant in Tagbilaran apparently. Tricycles are easy to get to and from here, transport generally easy as the place isn't too far from the main road and easy to find. Dayview is also very close to Tagbilaran ferry ports where you can get ferries to Cebu, Dumaguete, Oslob, Siqijour, etc. We used Ocean jet but unfortunately our ferry to Dumaguete was cancelled last minute (option of refund or next ferry out). Tickets can be bought from the port days before travelling too. Generally, Dayview was a lovely place to stay, good wifi (3 options for connection) and great air con once it gets started, which doesn't take long (they ask that you turn off all electricity while you are out).

This hotel is like a big house that was converted to a Hostel. There is no restaurant. You will have to wait for a fast food to open at 7:30am to have breakfast, which is a good 5 minutes walk. It's close to the Pier though. It's ok for the price paid.

Its not really bad. Its clean, short walking distance to the pier, and its relatively a quiet place. There are small stores about where you can buy stuff. the ac in the room where we stayed cannot cope with the heat/humidity outside though thus we had a hard time sleeping. relatively good enough wifi the toilet is clean and had strong water - this is important because the humidity in bohol is too much you have to take a bath more than 2x a day. the staff is ok but not better than average. there was a time when there was no one in the reception. no one bothered to help us with our luggage to take them some flights of stairs to the reception and when we left. Lastly - contrary to the name of the hotel "Dayview" There is no View . The hotel is situated in a not so busy street.
