We’ve just spent 8 nights at the hotel and overall we were more than happy with our stay. Yes the hotel is a little out of the way from the town centre, however we rented a scooter with the help of the hotel and managed to tour most of Bohol. Alona beach is about 45 minutes by scooter but to be honest we visited Alona once during our stay and were glad to get away from it, it’s mad and too busy! The rooms facing the infinity pool are in my opinion the best to stay in, clean and fresh with a small fridge and a really lovely view out to the clean and beyond. Local eating places not too far away with a delicious small bakery just 100 metres on the left as you turn right onto the main road. Would we stay here again? Yes, staff were always smiling and helpful.
We stayed here for 3 nights and we loved it. it was our first touch with philippines and we were very happy. Room was clean and spacious, infinity pool at sunset was super and staff were very very helpful with everything. great job guys and thanks to the owner for free crabs one night , ahah.
We chose this as it was nearest to my wife's family home. The grounds and the pools were immaculate, the restaurant was ok.The view was good, there is no beach. Our room was average for the price, sparsely furnished, the bathroom rarely had hot water, poor shower and toilet needed repair. Although in a quiet area there is some background noise, fishing boats going out in the morning and the local church had a service at 5.30 am.Bohol has got expensive now so we expected rather better.
The Room/s - Some people say, "I can't ask for anything more", but I did, I asked for two more rooms, I took T1, T2 and T3 although I booked for one. I liked the idea that each is "a room with a wonderful view". T1 have infinity supply of bottled drinking water from a dispenser (hot & cold). Toilet/Bathroom is spacious The Pool - That's it, my grandchildren enjoyed the infinity pool such a way that my little boy didn't change his swimwear after enjoying 3 waterfalls in 1 day around Bohol. He just jumped into the pool as soon as we reached Kasagpan. Kids invited few relatives to swim with and they didn't mind (I mean, the management), I hope to everyone they do, or maybe they just didn't know. Service is quite good and the staff as well, they are friendly too. One might even meet the owner if lucky enough. The Food - There are veggie patches all around the vicinity so it is most like they grow their own for the kitchen, my daughter picked some chilis when I asked for some. Overall - I didn't mind the TV reception, my visit was to enjoyed the outdoor, so no complaint, and how can I, it was to good to be in Bohol; my birthplace.…
Stayed in Kasagpan May 12-26 this year. Our 3rd-4th stay. We use to visit other hotels in Bohol before Kasagpan but since then. This is our place to stay while visiting family and friends. Mornings are great listening to the waves and the sunset overlooking Tagbilaran bay, is something worth coming back. The staff are one of the BEST. Thank you very much guys for making our vacation one to remember. Looking forward to be there again soon.
We stayed 13 nights,We had the 2 bedroom bungalow. The location is perfect for us.Has pool right outside our door and We also has access to Infinity pool. The scenery is gorgeous we called it Instagramable views. The sunset is unreal! The resort has a stairway down to the beach. We did some snorkeling early in the morning and my girls loved the starfish. The ocean is a bit rocky but clear. They have great food at the restaurant. My kids loved fresh fruit shakes. And ofcourse Kalamansi juice (like lemonade but better! )They also can set up our Island hopping and they can find a rental car or a driver for you.Very helpful and resourceful just communicate clearly. The staff are Great and Friendly they work together and always look happy and smiling. The hotel manager Irene deserves special thanks and Juvy that is very sweet to my little boy. We enjoyed our stay.I almost forgot to mention they pick us up at the seaport and drop us off.Amazing services from the management, Kitchen and housekeeping overall stressfree vacation.…
This was a very good find. The hotel was clean with beautiful grounds. There were 2 pools, one infinity with views out to the sea. The room was large with balcony. They have ground and first floor. All the rooms have views of one of the pools. Mine was of the infinity pool and the sea. The hotel isn't in the main town and you can walk but in the heat you're better off getting a trike which the reception can book for you. I ate in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was good, dinner less so. They organised a trike for me to hire to get around during my stay so I went to the beach and chocolate hills. My trike driver was brilliant, knowing where to stop for me to get some good photos. The hotel do a free pick up from the port. If you're looking for some peace and quiet, then this place is for you! I ended up staying 4 nights to get some well deserved relaxation. They also do tours for those who aren't travelling solo. …
This place is a gem. From the moment you walk in and see the well cared garden, infinity pool, great restaurant food, finishing touches and the friendly sweet staff will make your stay a memorable one. We were fortunate to meet the sweet and very knowledgeable owner and her stories about the place will make you appreciate it more. Very serene. Best sunset (even on a cloudy day). You have to try their food. Irene, Pat, Ian, Bea, Jovy and Michael, Mawmaw are great ambassadors of Kasagpan. You can always take a transport to Panglao and island hop, enjoy the busy beaches and mix in with the crowd while on a city tour THEN come home to peace and quiet and relax in the infinity pool. The Staff will assist you in mostly anything (transport, laundry etc). BTW, had my laundry done and they found money that was in one of the pockets and returned it. You have to book to experience Kasagpan. …
Provides a private retreat for travelers wanting a peaceful and quiet vacation away from the noise of everyday life. Great view of the sunset from the big infinity pool. Minutes away from the seaport and airport. In-house restaurant offers drinks and great-tasting food. Wifi can be wonky at times.
Very friendly quiet resort right on the coast. We liked the staff they are really lovely! Food was also good quality. Kids love the sneaky cats who loved to join for meals! The family room is really close to the main pool which is great for younger families. It's got two levels which comfortably takes a family of five. The beds are pretty stiff and firm so watch out if you love soft squishy beds! Next door is access for the local fishermen which is nice to watch. There is a beautiful pool with a great aspect as it looks out to the sea with Cebu in the distance. The property gardens are well maintained, rooms are nice and clean with some probably local infrastructure issues with water and pressure meaning showers are more of a dribble! Good access to the local town but is also a little bit removed from the hustle and bustle. Would recommend for those families looking to have a quiet place to stay whilst exploring Bohol. Also recommend doing the tours.…
