At first glance, we were really amazed at how beautiful the place is. It was really affordable and it brought comfort to me and my family. The room and toilet were so spacious. Perfect for a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids). We also enjoyed the pool. The only thing that seemed lacking was a trash bin outside the room. We worked around what we had but the cats kept ruining the trash every morning. :( Anyway, it was a great stay. The staff was SUPER responsive even weeks before the trip. Definitely recommend this place.

It was a pleasant stay in Bohol
sunset villa. They are not overprice hotel and its family friendly environment. They have clean rooms but poor wifi in upper area. The pool is simple and its open to public. The food is fast served and in the mid range of taste. Basically, its still pleasant stay.

Thank you to the smilling team and specially mention to jordan our transport tour guide in countryside, thank you again!!!! I will recommend you guys with my friends and family!!

Me nd my family went to bohol for a countryside day tour and planned to stay within tagbilaran for a night. Since we're accompanied with kids, we wanted to stay in a kid-friendly hotel (pool and a big garden or play area's a must since going to panglao wasnt on our list) and of course minus the hole in our pockets. I searched google far and wide and enter BOHOL SUNSET VILLA! For a deluxe room worth p1,100, you cn view the ocean and mangroves from your balcony. Food quality's great and the staff were super accomodating,Always with a smile. Plus a pool and a garden where kids can run their hearts out, I couldnt ask for more. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟👌👍

This new hotel opened in early 2014 and work is still going on in September 2014 on a new convention hall but away from the main hotel building. Whilst it is on the seafront there is no beach but mangroves. However there is a very good clean swimming pool. The food is limited at the moment so I eat out and there is van transport right outside - just put your hand up when one approaches. It is a very peaceful setting so ideal for chilling out and for those with kids. The locals are friendly and it is a safe area. A double bed with ocean view cost 1,200 peos a night. The room had hot water, fridge, minibar and a kettle.

My girlfriend and I had a trip in Bohol last Nov. 26-29, 2015 as celebration of our Anniversary. Prior to our trip I checked all the budget hotels where we'll stay. Fortunately, I've found this very good hotel. The hotel grounds are really good especially the swimming pool 4ft in depth and it also has a very wide garden where you can play. It's a bit far from the Tagbilaran Bayan but it's just a one ride away and the fare's very cheap. We reserved and availed the standard room worth 850 per night. We were reaaaaaaaally impressed when we saw the room. It's like a room that's worth 1,500. So you'd really get more than what you paid for. They have wifi on the reception area. the location is very green and quiet. The staffs are very accommodating and hospitable. I'd highly recommend this for those who are looking for a budget hotel with a great service.

This hotel is new, 1 yr old, with pools, good food, and a wonderful staff who work hard to attend to your every need. The management is wonderful, experienced, and the staff is always there to help. Nice rooms, wi-fi, it has cars and vans to drive you anyplace you wish to go. Great tour guides, polite, and friendly, and know all the good places to take you for a great visit! It has great roof top views of sunsets over the ocean. The large clean ocean view rooms are very nice and relaxing. The price is very affordable, and they have No Kano Tax! I will return every chance I get.

I stayed twice here. I was amazed during my first stay, it exceeded my expectations because the resort has a great value for money, the rooms are newly furbished with a nice view, service was great and the food serving was satisfactory. Last night my friend and I checked in late in the resort, the reception staff told us that Deluxe Twin room with breakfast (Php1100ish) was not available they only have a Standard Room available (Php1050) but has no breakfast. We took the Standard Room then and negotiated to the reception staff to at least give us a complimentary breakfast since we checked in late and the price difference is not that much. He took note of our request and informed us that we can then avail one time complimentary breakfast for two. The next morning, we availed breakfast but was charged for it. It was not a pleasant experience to remembered to and the approach of the lady receptionist was not nice at all, she told us that the night shift reception didn't endorsed that he gave us complimentary breakfast. It was a major turn off and made me rate them as average. :/ Reception staffs needs more training. :) But i appreciate how that maintain the rooms cleanliness and polite F&B staff.

Spent the days in five-star Panglao beaches (Alona Beach, Bohol Beach Club and BE Grand Hotel) and slept in this hotel at night. Saved lots of money to go around Tagbilaran & buy pasalubong. Enjoyed the fresh seafood, unli buko juice, Bohol Chocolate House, kalamay and tablea. My daughter fell in love with the Tarsiers :)
