We went here last April 9 with bookings for 2 rooms good for 8 persons, just for overnight stay near the airport... we paid through TRAVELOKA... but when we were there they told us that they were closed and under renovations, also memtioned that they reported the closure to TRAAVELOKA and havent get the payment we paid through TRAVELOKA... when we are asking for refund to TRAVELOKA they mentioned that this hotel claimed that they are not close that date...
Nice place but they have bad services. I remember when we had our Pharmacy day celebration at Waterparadise, the foods are bad and the drinks are dirty and tasteless. There are insect floating in the drinks and some are poop of the lizard settled at the bottom of the drinks like seriously? How is that possible? Did they even wash thier glasses? Me and my classmates were very disappointed because it was not worthwhile experience and a waste of money. 👎 Anyway , I suggest you change everything! The name of the place is very ironic.
This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, in the Philippines. The bed sheets were stained through to the mattress. The bathroom was filthy, there was not water pressure or hot water. While we were gone the next day they entered our room and went through our bags and took some items from one., They never cleaned the room while they were there. We left before the 2nd night and didn't even ask for our money back. They said there was airport transportation, but they didn't even have a vehicle.
I was there during the first week of January 2018. This is a "tired" resort in serious need of infrastructure updates. It's a shame that this once proud hotel has been allowed to "run down." The staff is nice and accommodating. The pool area was about the only area that looked to be in order. The rooms were old and in need of a serious upgrade. There weren't many customers at the hotel except our group. As noted, this hotel is far from the beaches and shopping areas.
Water paradise is a very big disappointment. Restaurant is already closed but their website says otherwise. The price does not match the facilities and services. We booked there for two nights but only stayed for one night despite the fact they wont give us a refund because we can't stand to stay there for another night.
Worst after Mabuhay resort, still a rather ok place, Most likely more used by locals. Since it was Chineese new year, year of the rooster most place was allready fully booked so we where lucky to find this place. Huts were of rather low standard however stil ok if refering to what we paid. There was a rather ok pool in the resort. Very far from beaches that meant long journys to reach the beaches. The so called resort offered shuttle service but the fair compairing to locale taxi transportation was far cheaper better and faster. Still the resort was called waterparadise there was daily issues with water both for showers and toiletts that never actually worked good during our stay. The breakfast restaurant had most likely only newly recruited staf with no education, and hardly no english understood. As an example it took approx 45 minutes to get a fried egg some locale sausages, rice and coffe, at the same time ther was only two guests that had allready got there breakfast served!…
Hello there, i try make some quick review..I have been in this resort in january 17 for 2-3 nights( im not sure yet) with 4 my friends..Rooms are common, not bad but nothing special.. I dont know what i should mean about this resort, it looks like pretty good, but i had weird feeling and i dont mean it bad. But in this resort was almost nobody(customers), one-two persons around pool, one two persons in restaurant, weird(maybe bcoz not full season)..it looks like that there is more people from staff than customers.. One morning i wanted order some breakfast from menu, they had about 5 variants but when i wanted choose, they said to me it is only 1 variant possible..yeah ok, i dont wanna be to much critical, coz those staff there were really nice, but almost empty resort and they dont have breakfast..I really dont know what i should think about that, but it could be some excusable reason. Next think is, that around this resort are not shops or something, its pretty far away from center, so it is necessarily count on it..but they have a VAN and a driver, so its not problem to get to center, if i remember good it was for 150PHP....not good is also, that they close the gate about 11pm (receptionists can be there maybe till 1am) and then you have to banging on doors.. And finally the most important for me! "My" cutest receptionist haha..Her name is Michelle (if i write that right) and she is awsome! I really havent seen in my life so kind and helpful person..she is the most working person there and yet does the job with smile..I appreciate it..So people there, if you will have a accommodation in this resort, even if will be something wrong for example, pls BE NICE on her, or ill find you and you will see..! :D But i have to say that all staff there was nice :) final summary: cheap resort for people who are searching rest and peace.. PS: sorry for my english…
They should close this place, it was a nightmare for us to sleep here 2 nights. As we checked in (we had been waiting for our room over one hour even there was anybody before us) and then we were given a room without a toilet seat. Ok, so we went back to the reception to ask if they can fix it and they said SORRY, NO. So we wanted to go somewhere else but suddendly they found another room after one hour so we moved there. There was no free bottled water as they promote it on the websites (agoda) and we had to pay for it. The place is in the middle of nowhere and if you want to go to Alona beach, you have to pay 1000 pesos for a van. The water in the room wasn't working until the night. No excuses, nothing. We wanted to have a breakfast here and the only thing from the menu they had was a ham, rice and egg. For 150 pesos two slices of very old ham, one egg and one scoop of rice. The resort closes it's gate at 22,00 so if you want to come later, you have to knock on the door - they said. But there was anybody and we had to stand there in front of the gate around 40 minutes, in rain and knocking on the iron gate. Finally we had to hike up on the gate and jump from it inside of the resort. Our clothes were dirty. There is no possibility to catch a taxi there - this place is abandoned. It has a swimming pool on the pictures. But they have no sunbeds. This was a real nightmare :(…
Such a perfect place to relax. Staffs were very accommodating. The room is very clean. Swimming pool is really great. Foods in the resto really taste good and its affordable. Planning to visit again this coming December.
I imagine this used to be a good resort. Concept is very good, location is inland, but near downtown. The room needs renovation, and the comfort room stinks, and there around twenty cockroaches. The pool is clean and big enough for lap swimming. Food? Bad cook! But this should be priced as a budget resort. At 2,600 for deluxe, with this kind of facility and services? No, not worth it. Definitely.
