I have traveled all over the world and the Manager and other workers at Cesar's Place make this hotel my home away from home while in Bohol. They consistently go above and beyond what you would expect for service for such a reasonable price! They are not mind readers so occasionally if I have a special request I do have to ask but they are always very accommodating and super friendly. If you are traveling to Bohol contact them directly. They also have longer stays with and without breakfast. I have seen on some other booking sites they say some rooms are NO CHILDREN under 13 - but definitely contact the hotel directly as they said this was not really their policy.

Obviously, when you pay cheap you'll get what you paid for. Don't expect too much! for about 25 euros you'll get a decent room.

The food is good with reasonable price, If you'll book a higher sort of room for sure you'll get more but for a budget type trip this is would do.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 1 night.
Every staff member we encountered greeted us with a smile and was more than willing to assist us in any way they could.
Great place to stay compare to other hotel’s in the city where I stay before
Every cents worth
Staff and services they’re very accommodating.
Rooms are great, very clean, spacious and cozy!
Definitely worth the stay
We've already recommended it to our friends.

“Just one thing- can you extend the restaurant operation till 11pm and can you do as well room service from 11pm – 6am till the restaurant is open in the morning?”

From the start, everything was nice. Including how they did welcome us, show the great room and how everything works, the night in comfortable beds, delicious foods, fast check-in and check-out. Everything was just great

Thanks to Mr. Ricardo for recommending this place to us, Ms Loida the front office associate who handle us from check-in till we check-out, to the security guard on duty for assisting in getting cabs, and to all the staff working here.

We will come back.

The photos online looked much better than the place in real life. Room was small and pretty dark like a prison cell with a small window, nothing like the photos. The hot water didn't work though there's a small heater above the shower. The AC was very noisy. Place was generally clean but it definitely was not what I expected.

This hotel is a new hotel in the block. The hotel is located along the highway hence transportation is not a problem. The well known Gerarda’s Resto is just a tricycle away. The staff are all very accommodating and the hotel resto serves yummy dishes!!!

This hotel is highly recommended by our whole family. We booked three rooms for our group of four adults and two children. After arriving back home in Australia, we still feel touched by the overall friendliness and courtesy displayed by ALL the staff of this hotel. Everyone did their part to ensure we were welcomed and enjoyed our stay!

The front door security staff were very helpful in assisting us obtain transport to our local destinations and ensured fares were negotiated prior so we knew what the cost will be.

The desk/reception staff were always there to greet us with a warm smile and never let us down with any reasonable request we made and the housekeeping and dining room staff also offered their services with a happy smile and attention to detail!

Whilst we initially selected this hotel based on the pictures and description of the rooms, it was the service that has remained most in our minds.

The owner/management of this hotel has got a great team here that has made itself the highlight of our stay! Additionally, the room rates are most competitive and affordable!

If you visit this hotel, I believe you will not be disappointed. Thank you to you all. Merry Christmas...

We will be return to this hotel on our next visit and are already looking forward to it!

P.S. To reviewers who offer 'poor' scores for silly reasons, I often read reviews where people complain that there was no pool etc... if the hotel didn't claim to have a pool, don't expect to find one and complain about it when you don't find one! After all, the hotel didn't claim to have the 'Hanging Gardens of Babylon' outside my window therefore I wasn't surprised to not see it...

Additionally, when referencing a hotel's poor Internet signal. Please use common sense and understand this is an issue throughout the Philippines and poor signals should NOT be blamed on a hotel.

Currently traveling around Philippines as a group of 3 and have a budget of £10-15 a night each, this is the best place we have stayed so far! 5-10minute ride away from the port on a tricycle, lovely welcome, clean and modern room with a balcony (very handy for the traveler to wash&dry clothes) fast wifi and cheap! Best nights sleep we have had as the bed sheets are very high quality, pillows are like marshmallows!! Breakfast was included and was lovely. Absolutely fantastic accommodation definitely recommend!

Big shout out to Ariel - hotel supervisor!

We booked a deluxe room for a family of 3, staff was great in assisting our day trip country side tour.
Pros: affordable and clean.
Cons: little bit far from seaport. No electric kettle for standard room.

Highly recommended for budget travel.

I stayed here for 4 nights recently and had a very pleasant stay. The room was spacious with a large bed and cold air conditioner. The bathroom is modern with in-room water heater for the shower (fairly typical in Phils). The staff are very helpful, and the restaurant had great food at very reasonable prices. The room was in good shape, the building does not look old. I would stay here again if I get the chance!
