First of all the pics are meant to impress they are misleading at best. My king bed was 2 single mattresses on a plank wooden base. The internet is atrocious cutting on and off very inconsistent. The restaurant for breakfast was fine but I was given bad squid in my palabo and suffered with diarrhea and abdominal pain. I informed them about the bad squid they just say "Sorry Sir" Like that fixes everything. They also charge for water which i think is a real low class decision. Most decent hotels give you a couple bottles complimentary everyday.
I have traveled all over the world and the Manager and other workers at Cesar's Place make this hotel my home away from home while in Bohol. They consistently go above and beyond what you would expect for service for such a reasonable price! They are not mind readers so occasionally if I have a special request I do have to ask but they are always very accommodating and super friendly. If you are traveling to Bohol contact them directly. They also have longer stays with and without breakfast. I have seen on some other booking sites they say some rooms are NO CHILDREN under 13 - but definitely contact the hotel directly as they said this was not really their policy.
Clean and new Hotel. Staff's are courteous. If you plan to be an LSI on this facility. They have good food but their services are limited. They dont also accept cards but they have bank transfers, bpi only.
We booked a deluxe room for a family of 3, staff was great in assisting our day trip country side tour. Pros: affordable and clean. Cons: little bit far from seaport. No electric kettle for standard room. Highly recommended for budget travel.
The photos online looked much better than the place in real life. Room was small and pretty dark like a prison cell with a small window, nothing like the photos. The hot water didn't work though there's a small heater above the shower. The AC was very noisy. Place was generally clean but it definitely was not what I expected.
Very reasonably priced for a new building. Their food is good BUT: 1. Service is very, very slow. So if you're rushing to get somewhere, maybe you could request a few minutes before you go down for breakfast. 2. Don't get their bangus belly sa daing. It's only a tad bigger then a chicken nugget, i kid you not. Kung magtu tour ka, di ka maitatawid hanggang lunch. Perfect choice though if nagpapagutom ka for loboc lunch buffet. Their water smells like old-school pangkulot. And don't even bring food inside the room. The ants are fast.
Loved the hotel and staff and food very tasty. Had the salmon and asawa had fish soup and kids had various things. They had 2 aircon units so the room was perfect. The staff was very helpful and cheerful. Would recommend to anyone.
The hotel is very nice, clean, and comfortable and rooms are spacious. Though you'll need to consider the location, its far from Tagbilaran City proper. WiFi on a hotel is a plus but they have poor connection.
Booked this hotel because of its location. Unfortunately, our flight was moved to the newly opened airport far away from this hotel. Thumbs up to their responsive staff who fetch me from the bus terminal. Perfect hotel for travellers and great food too!
Firstly, we were put in a room at the front of the hotel which was so noisy from road traffic. This did not help our bent, who is a light sleeper at the best of times.Breakfast was touted as free, and was a buffet style. The staff there made you feel like they didn’t really want to serve you anything and were slow to restock anything on the table. Then when I asked for a second coffee, which was served in a small cup, was brewed coffee that wasn’t that nice anyway, I was told I would have to pay.Talk about tight.!! Then, back in the room, the bedside cabinet had a loose piece of glass on the top of it, not fixed on in any way.Our baby pulled this off and it nearly landed on him, then shattered, talk about dangerous. This could have fallen onto any guests leg or foot.Total negligence about the safety of guests.Upon leaving, the manager called the owner, and they had the audacity to try and charge me for the glass.I told them they were lucky I wasn’t suing them for having a dangerous room.Terroble place, I would not stay there again, and would not recommend to anyone. There are better places in Tagbilaran city.…
