Detailed Reviews
This is not only the best resort I've stayed at in the Philippines but is up there with the best I've stayed at globally. As an Australian who has travelled a lot, my expectations of hotels and resorts are high, and this resort lived up to my expectations. The hotel hosted my birthday party, with 25 of my friends attending. The service and food was amazing, and the location was perfect. I would highly recommend anyone visiting Puerto Galera to stay here. I will be back!!

Only spent one night here with my partner... wish we had more spare time to really enjoyvthis resort. Each and everyone of the staff here are by far the friendliest I have ever come across. The rooms are well sized with fabulous large covered balcony with awesome ocean views. Well stocked mini bar and recently renovated bathroom. Would highly recommend the Mannarra Sea view resort to anyone visiting Sabang.

Another fantastic stay at the Manara. It’s been a while due to the pandemic. They have been busy making a lot of expansion and enhancing the place all together, they even added another pool! The ambiance is very chill, it was peaceful and serene. The food was all top notch too, great selections of nice local offerings as well as fine imports.

I spent 4 nights in this wonderful resort. I had a good look around the area before deciding and without question this is by far the best place to stay, and here is the logic why.
Although you might find the many stairs a bit of a hardship due to the fact this place is built on the side of a huge hill, that winded feeling will soon disappear when you realise you have the best view in the entire city of Sabang. The rooms are wonderful, large, modern and very very clean. The pool and the well stocked bar area are also pristine. They have a wonderful restaurant that serves great food of international and local standard… and above all i would have to say the warmth and friendliness of the staff is the best part of staying here. They are kind and very knowledgable, no request is to big or to small, nothing overlooked. you get a great sense of staying with people who really care… not to forget, that ADWonderdiver will give divers a nice rate on diving when staying here.. both are the best in Sabang .. i will definitely be back

This is a brand new hotel/resort, nestled high up in the hill, where you never tire of the views from nearly every part of the resort, at all hours of the day and night. Absolutely spectacular from the roof top, our hotel room and balcony, at the restaurant, the foot spa chairs and even down by the pool and bar area.
I really enjoyed waking up in the morning to watch the sunrise from our balcony and then see the morning come alive down on the shore, while I ate my breakfast down in the restaurant.
We found the staff very polite and friendly at all times and always happy to assist and serve us when needed. The resort even booked our van, from Manila to Batangas Pier and back again. Also, they arranged boat trips to White Beach, and other boat trips and activities including snorkelling. It made the holiday so much more enjoyable having them organise those things.
Being a brand new resort, their rooms were immaculately clean and spacious. The beds were large and so comfortable, and our room included a flat screen TV, a kitchen (if you wanted to do some cooking) and what impressed me the most was the stocked bar fridge and how cheap the drinks were, compared to your normal average hotel. The bathroom was large and the same with the shower, with a huge shower head and good water pressure.
We dined at the restaurant every morning which served Continental, Western and Filipino breakfasts. We would normally have snacks at lunch by the pool and bar. Our favourite appetiser was the Pork spring rolls, so yummy. Dinner was really nice too with a great selection of meals from traditional filipino meals, steak, seafood and their delicious pizzas. Always nice and enjoyable eating either in the restaurant or down by the pool area.
We really enjoyed the pool too. It was beautiful to swim in day and night. The pool bar was great to just chill out while having a swim. If you love massages, they have a really nice room where you can just relax and watch the view while having a foot spa or a more private massage.
My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at this resort. So did our friends who came with us. Being a new resort, it was hard to fault how clean and nice the place was. There was free wifi too which worked okay when we needed to get online. One of the main things we loved about this place, was how the staff were always so helpful and friendly. Like I said above, it ticked all the boxes and we can't wait to stay there again next time we're in the Philippines.
Footnote: A word of warning for those who have trouble with stairs, or if you don't like too many stairs, book one of the lower floors. There are a few, as this resort is located up in the side of the hill. But the views are wonderful and the resort pretty much has everything you need, that you could just stay within the grounds most of the time and not venture out. Personally, I like stairs, as they keep you active and when you are relaxing and eating the meals at a place like this, walking up and down stairs will help you from gaining more weight, lol.

Had 3 nights at the Manarra just last month. I’m always impressed with this place. Comfortable in every way. They just have a way of making me feel at ease from the moment I arrive. The food was great as usual and the fine staff just continues to impress! A beautiful view is the icing on the cake. I overheard them talking about their upcoming expansion and it sure sounds like it gonna make the place even nicer, complete with a couple of elevators! Thanks Manarra, for always making me feel relaxed, refreshed and right at home!

I stayed with a foreign work colleague here just to show places close to Manila where they can have a weekend getaway. Manarra is a nice place to stay, stunning view of the sea, quite, friendly staff and nice rooms. Very good for the price. Some are saying it's bad because of the stairs but not really a big issue.

Awesome place with really good food (try the tenderloin steak). The staff is very friendly and helpful, good service overall. Rooms are big and very clean. Food and drinks are not pricey, you get what you pay for. Definitely gonna go back here!

I recently stayed for three nights at Manarra Seaview Resort while diving at Sabang which is excellent. The resort is very new and the rooms are beautiful. The view is amazing. The food in the restaurant is great. What impressed me most was the staff. They are so friendly and helpful. They even arranged accommodation in Manila for me for the night before I came down to Sabang. I would definitely stay there again.

It's my 1st time to write reviews, so sorry if I'm not that good...hahahaha (I'm just so thankful to Riezel and to other staff for being so accommodating & friendly specially to my mom)
Me and my family really enjoyed our 2nights stay in Manarra, friendly staff, clean and newly built resort. Very quiet and relaxing specially at night. Food is good, we tried their pizza as it kids favorite, and it's so yummy and tasty. Worth it the price. Our room is big and so comfortable. We stayed in 2nd floor. While paying for a terminal fee in Sabang Port, back to Manila,my kids told me, they're missing our room and the pool already...they can't wait for the next summer or school break!..hahahahaha
We'll be back for sure...:) :) :)

By wallking..
Probably 10-15 minutes from a snorkeling beach. Sabang isn't a snorkeling area.
