Detailed Reviews
My Nana and I got stuck at Puerto Galera during the nationwide lockdown but the French couple offered us a home in their Mangyan Inspired Bamboo Resort. This is by far the cheapest and cleanest dive shop in town that offers disinfection separation tanks for dive equipment and wet suits. In addition, the place has excellent environmental standards - by providing guests with reusable water bottles, utilizing solar-powered lanterns, repurposing ocean driftwood, maintaining the cleanliness of the shoreline, advocating for safer seafood consumption, and and avoiding the use of anchors to conserve coral reefs.

The owners, Alain and Calou very friendly and active. Perfect location, spacious rooms, staff with little care. Good table and great cheap bar. Domaine d'Alain, perfectly organized diving, good equipment and very professional guides and who know very well the dives, very beautiful by the way, especially to the green island. Apart from scuba diving, Calou offers many activities, hiking, walking in the waterfalls, visiting villages. And at the end of the day, a little massage before meeting at the bar. Very nice holidays, thank you Calou and Alain.

We had one of our best holiday at this beautiful resort. From the lovely rooms to the yummy food from the restaurant; we had the best time and it was family friendly. We brought our three children with us and the staff did everything they could to make our stay with the little one easy. Our children loved the pool and the beach. My husband dived everyday and said the dives were amazing. I would recommend this resort to anyone that loves diving but also anyone that need a restful and relaxing holiday. The island has a great relax feel, it is clean and the people there are so lovely. Thank you to all the team of the blue lagoon they made our stay memorable and unforgetable !!! We will be back 😀

A dream stay with a wonderful team. Everyone is cared for and of rare kindness. The cuisine is delicious and varied, the staff puts a lot of heart into taking care of you throughout your stay. Take the time to make the excursions because Calou and Alain will take you to places as beautiful as remote.
Thank you all for these priceless moments of happiness. Amanda, Trisha, Leah, Lito, Karen, Mariame and all those beautiful people whose path we crossed, a thousand thanks to you. Alain, Calou, thank you for the welcome, the organization and thank you for allowing us to create all these unforgettable memories.

Arrive as a diver, leave as friends
Alain is an excellent instructor, if you want to evolve or pass levels, you have found the best place in Philippines
Dive equipment of excellent quality.
Calou will offer you personalized excursions, do not miss the wagon ride with the buffaloes, you can also discover a village in the mountains.
for accommodation, an extremely comfortable bungalow and a real kitchen, worthy of restaurants, an unforgettable moment that we wish to renew as soon as possible

Wonderful stay in this resort, both for the hotel, the catering and also the diving.
The organization is precise, the staff is smiling, attentive and always available.
The food is excellent.
The dives, most often nearby, are varied and allow you to discover a complete range of underwater life in the region.
The guides are available and know how to adapt to our wishes.
The training offer is adapted, it is even possible to carry out a rebreather baptism.
The activities offered outside the water are varied and adapted to local possibilities while remaining original.
In short, it’s hard to leave!

Nice meets. Beautiful landscapes. Warm welcome but AVOID ROOM 1.... (Cooking, smells, welcome, group from the neighboring hotel) the restaurant is at the top, the owners and staff too. Really. Everything is done to enjoy... except sleep... full of suggestions for discoveries.
