We booked 3 rooms and was travelling with elderly ppl. The property is very peaceful, clean and staff is very hospitable. We had a very comfortable stay. We were allotted the corner most room and could have a good family time. The Aryan Aviation helipad is just 100 mtrs and therefore was very convenient. View from rooms were amazing. Dining place was neat and clean with good vegetarian food. 100 marks to staff.

We chose Guptkashi as the base for our Kedarnath yatra and it was a good decision. Its a comfortable & clean place. Though the cottages are a little small but have neat bathrooms with good hot water supply plus no electricity issues. The food is decent though they need to work on the quantity against the number of guests staying. Twice, we had to wait for quite sometime for food to be replenished after it was over. Its a little disappointing. But the property has great views of the valley and would recommend booking cottages & not the rooms in the older part of the property which are very basic and not worth the money at all. Its a clean, green & beautiful place to relax after the arduous Kedarnath trek. It is very close to the Guptkashi helipad and around 20kms away from the Phata helipad. Would like to make a special mention for Joshi ji, the manager of the property when we visited last year, he was very hospitable and helpful with information. Also, he made sure my mother boarded the helicopter comfortably. People like him make all the difference in one's opinion.

Very comfortable place to stay. A cool place to plan holidays. Felt very relaxed during visit. This place is full of greenery. Staff is very good. Food is excellent. If someone wants to enjoy the beauty of nature should visit this place once. They have maintained it properly and you can just have a peace of mind with enjoying silent beauty of the nature. It's very peaceful and perfect place to unwind and relax.

The hotel is right on the Guptkashi Sonprayag highway NH7 and the initial impression is it was rather dusty. In fact even though it is mentioned that parking is available it is basically parking on the highway only. And because of roadwork for broadening the highway it is more dusty. In fact our driver was really unhappy because of the car really got dusty parked on the highway. Also even though wifi is mentioned, there is no wifi in actuality. Even for a family of 3 the room is rather crunched and there was hardly any place to even put the mattress for the 3rd person. So there may be a doubt that inspite of all these negatives. We stayed for 3 nights, and with the crunched space and dusty condition we were a bit upset. What is best about the resort is the helpful attitude of the staff. And of course beautiful view of the Kedar peaks right in front and also with a lot of trees and NarainKoti village around, one can do good bird watching and even have a feel of village life. Gardening is extensive all over the resort with flowers blooming everywhere and also fruits and beautiful shrubs. Food was really good, be breakfast or dinner or snacks, though predominantly vegetarian. Day 1 we arrived in the late afternoon and settled for the night. Day 2 we went to Sari village and did the Deoria Tal trek. Day 3 we had plans for Kedarnath via helicopter for which we had booked from the GMVN site for Pavan Hans from Phata. On day 1 right after we arrived, the manager asked where we had booked and on hearing Pavan Hans he told they have some technical fault. I told I hope it gets resolved in a day for we have time in hand. Day 2 when we came back from Deoria Tal in the afternoon he asked again and then when I checked my mobile I found a cancellation SMS from Pavan Hans. I was in a real fix and asked him if he can help thru the nearby helicopter facilities from Guptkashi. At this point, he gave a smile and said that he had already told Aryan Helicopter service which operated 100 m from the hotel to arrange for 3 persons only the confirmation is expected next day morning. Little assured I asked what is the charge & payment mode & whether credit card is acceptable. He said it's net banking only and has to be paid directly to Aryan but next day morning after they confirm. I did not have enough cash in my savings bank account, so with his personal mobile on hotspot i could connect my laptop and do an online arrangement. I also asked the account details as my bank online facility takes a few hours to approve a new beneficiary. So he went again to Aryan and got their bank details which I got the beneficiary added and approved. A rather tensed night whether we will get tickets finally and at what time. Also we didn't have any plans to stay in Kedarnath so if it is delayed we may get stuck in Kedarnath for the night and it may be a problem. Next day to kill the tension I tried to get into as much as possible on nature and bird photography and at around 8 am we were confirmed that we will be able to go to Kedarnath but only at 11 am-12 noon slot. We went to Aryan office and had the money transferred, our weights taken adn finally all set to go and we left after 11 am only. Also while talking to the manager we had requested for some special food and on our last night we were asked to come early in the dining room and were surprised to find the special food. Another help that was done was to arrange a birthday cake for my wife and that was arranged too. Overall Mr. Joshi the manager was really helpful and really helped us to have our trip successful with his thoughtfulness and prompt help for which we are indebted to him. In fact he went to Phata while we were going to Badrinath and got the cancellation stamp on our tickets and got that submitted and stamped to GMVN office in Guptkashi. I can never expect such a kind gesture from a hotelier. I would love to come again here, hopefully the roadwork will be complete and less dusty and get a bigger room and wifi facility established. I have a taken a lot of photos and will add separately.
