After making my reservation via phone from UK two months before my departure I decided to send this booking to there hotel via email also, one week before I arrived at "Greenlands"I gave them another call, to my shock and horror they had no booking and all the standard rooms were fully booked, after some very strong words they gave me a "suite" for the same price, I was in Cabanatuan for the christening of my baby daughter so in total there were two adults and a baby staying in the suite, when I opened the door I was surprised it was good however when my fiancee decided to take a shower there was only one towel, after looking around the "suite" it was quickly established that there was only one of everything, I contacted reception who quickly replenished the facilities to which we required,
The room had no wifi nor mini bar which was stated on the website,
In the evening we decided to eat in the restaurant which was very nice but on the expensive side for a provincial hotel,my fiancee attended to our daughter and I went to pay the bill, the waiter in a very loud voice called out to another member of staff "kalibo" wants to pay, I was SHOCKED a member of staff had insulted me in front of other guests, I may not speak fluent tagalog but i certainly know this word is disrespectful to a bald guy,
At 6am I went over to the restaurant for breakfast and was told only ONE breakfast is included in the room price and my fiancee's breakfast was chargeable. On the website it states free breakfast NOT one free breakfast, I decided to leave asap.
I reported all instances to reception on my departure but to be honest they didn't seem bothered at all.I said do I call you "pangit"? or "matabat"? so why call me "kalbo" a paying international guest??????????
Please think very carefully about booking this hotel, there are many better around the area, the hotel is run very very poorly and staff very very rude, do you really want to spend your vacation in this type of environment?? I will never return.

I agree with the one who wrote the last review. I've stayed in this place and the staff were really nice. If only the owners would put some improvements like a place for recreation like a swimming pool sort of like a splash island thing because this is where the locals can also go and swim during the hot summer days! Maybe a place for kids to hang around like a game area with video games at the restaurant or near it or maybe a mini-golf area would also attract more visitors together with an area for a game of pool or billiards and a gym would be fantastic.Hope these suggestions for improvements would help because I enjoyed the good night's rest in this place and if I go visit the area, I would definitely stay there if with the improvements.

This hotel is good for just a good stay, since were just walk ins and we dont have any plans to stay long in the place we decided to choose this. Everything is okay, not that typical hotel so if you want a star hotel, dont book in this hotel. Staffs are nice and approachable. Wifi in this place is weak.

The Greenland Leisure Suites are located just off Maharlika Highway to the East and behind the Electric Company's headquarters. A short tricycle ride from the junction of Maharlika and Del Pilar shouldn't cost you more than P15.

Wow, this place is nice! Don't be so quick to judge on your arrival, as these suites have an outward appearance of storage containers ;) The inside is quite nice, the metal shades over the windows can be opened from inside the room, making you feel safe when they're closed and nice and fresh when they're open.

The property is well maintained with folliage and flowers, and the staff is incredible. The units are lined up in rows and come in 2 styles. We stayed in a middle-range suite that had a front living room (salas) with aircon, a tiled bathroom with hot water, and a large bedroom with aircon and cable TV. At P1,100 per night we couldn't have asked for much more. There is no pool, and not much to do around the hotel. In fact, the only hotel in Cabanatuan City with a pool is Acropolis, which is quite a ways away from anything in Cab.

The staff at Greenland is great and extremely accomodating. They accept major credit cards, as well as US and Filipino Currency. The restaurant is great, but be aware that the "free breakfast voucher" that they give you for each night you stay is only good for the Filipino Breakfast on the menu, so if you're not feelin like garlic rice, hotdog and fried egg, leave the voucher in your room ;)

The front desk arranged for a trike to take us around the city whenever we needed it, and they even took us to the bus terminal when it was time to leave in their free shuttle. Honestly FANTASTIC service, would definately stay there again if we ever make it back to Cabanatuan.

Nice hotel concept where in container vans are transformed into hotel rooms. But they are not well maintained.Wall papers are falling off inside our room.It is also so dark and dusty inside. Lampshades were provided but not working. Even their service phone is out of order. You need to call their cellphone numbers if you need anything. I called for assistance to on the lamps but no one came. Food also are expensive. A lot of mosquitos also. Free wifi soooo slow.
