My partner Liezel (Elizabeth) and I recently stayed at Carbis Bay Hotel and had another superlative stay, It was our seventh trip to the Hotel and the first time we have been back to the Hotel since our last stay in November 2019 (another great stay). We were warmly greeted on arrival by Ilma, who was simply marvelous once again, She is always pleased to see us, friendly, efficient and omnicompetent. We were shown to our lovely room which had a fantastic bathroom, comfy bed, a great sea view and a lovely balcony. The location and views from the Hotel is something else and you are only two minute walk from one of the most fabulous beaches in the UK. What we find is special about the Hotel, is its staff and the customer service. A big thank you to the unsung heroes from the kitchens, maintenance and housekeeping teams who helped make our stay so memorable, A big thank you also to Daniel, Danny, Alex, Ed, Leslie and Cindy from Walthers Restaurant for making our stay so relaxing and enjoyable, As ever it was fantastic to see Eduardo. Every great Hotel needs an Eduardo. As always, he was charming, gracious and outstanding. A final big thank you to the "ray of light that is Raluka. She could not have looked after us better. She was funny, ultra efficient and so kind to us. Everything about our stay was fantastic, our room, the fabulous food (thank you Chefs) and of course the fantastic Staff. Thank you so much for looking after us and making more happy memories for us of Carbis Bay Hotel. Till the next time. Phil & Liezel

Review from a multiple visitor.. the hotel is lovely if s little odd at times. People wandering around in robes through the main restaurant for example. All good snd what you might expect. Our room was lovely with side views of the bay and nice snd big. Dinner was good, maybe not as good as two years ago though. The big fail was our bed. Extremely lumpy and absolutely nothing that could be done at midnight when you climb into bed. So the most uncomfortable night ever. Very disappointed.

We are equally disappointed to learn of your experience and regret it very much. We take great care with the quality of our beds and bedding as would be expected. We hope you took this up with Reception whilst you were here as it is not clear how long you stayed with us and we always do our utmost to resolve any issues at the time. We do hope that you will return. One of our coastal properties might appeal to you and we have several restaurants, each with a different cuisine, from which to choose. Thank you for taking time to write about your stay. Best regards,

This is our first time at the hotel for my Wife’s birthday and have to say it won’t be our last stay. I cannot thank you enough for making my Wife’s birthday so memorable and for going over and above what I would have expected any hotel to do for me. On arrival we were greeted by the friendliest reception area ever and people who wanted to go out of their way to make our stay perfect. They upgraded our room to a Junior Suite at the front of the hotel with perfect views of the sea and shortly afterwards brought up 2 glasses of complimentary fizz for my wife as it was her birthday. In the room they had also left a birthday card and chocolates. One of the receptionists also offered to show us around the hotel which again they did not have to do. Room was stunning and the best I have ever stayed in in the UK, food at Walters was stunning and the overall experience and the way we were treated was first class. Thank you Carbis Bay hotel and team for making our stay and my Wife’s birthday truly memorable.

We booked our stay at the Carbis Bay Estate, for which we were fortunate enough to stay in one of the absolutely stunning beachfront lodges. Upon our arrival we were met by the front of house team, + introduced to the concierge team who showed us to our amazing home for our 3 day (2 night) stay. The beachside lodges (G7 accommodation) are out of this world - equipped with everything you would require for a family (+ friends) stay. The large ensuite bedrooms, bathrooms, dining room & kitchen were beautifully architected, decorated & set up giving you the warmest homely feeling as soon as you stepped foot inside the property door. The views out of the vast glass windows & balconies on to the beach are just paradise on a plate - whether it’s drawing the curtains in the morning, or sipping fizz from the top tier balcony jacuzzi hot tubs - just wow! The estate front of house, concierge team, waiters & waitresses were extremely helpful throughout our stay, going the extra mile to ensure that we were treated like royalty, + issuing special extra touches due to it being a special birthday for my partner! We won’t forget your efforts! We dined in the Orangery Restaurant in the main hotel on our first evening where the service & food was exceptional; we too had breakfast on both days in this exquisite location with beautiful views out into the bay, which again was all, if not more, than we could have wished for. We also dined at the Ugly Butterfly Restaurant on our final night, which was a next level sublime experience! We couldn't have expected any more from the team at the Carbis Bay Estate - everyone went the extra mile to ensure our stay was as comfortable, pleasant, & memorable as possible. Part of our package included spa massage treatments giving us the opportunity to unwind due to both of our extremely busy work-life commitments. The service, treatments & facilities in the C-Bay Spa were again all we could have hoped for, if not more during a rare break for us both. What an amazing area Carbis Bay is, + the surrounding estate, which is packed full of tasteful amenities. We live locally in Truro, however this has to be one of our favorite places in the world! The welcome upon our arrival, to the cream tea on Saturday afternoon, right through to our departure on our final morning left us with extremely fond memories whilst in the hands of such hospitable excellence! Thank you so much to the whole team for accommodating us, + giving us the opportunity to live life in luxury for our brief stay. You really did go the extra mile, however we know this is simply the service you provide - Tom & Laura X

We just left Carbis bay this morning , and I have to say I really struggled leaving , what a beautiful Hotel, absolutely wonderful staff , Amazing food. We had waited 2 years to visit having booked our stay pre covid , and my goodness it was so worth the wait, we had a deluxe room ,which was large beautifully decorated with a wonderful bathroom , amazing shower too. We dined at the beach hut which was lovely , only thing I would say is not alot of choice on menu if you don't like or eat seafood , maybe something to look at and maybe tweak. We will most definitely be returning to your beautiful hotel and our next stay cannot come quick enough .
