Detailed Reviews
I stayed 3 nights with a friend in a bungalow. We had a good time and I really enjoyed the vibes at this accommodation. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was included and I also liked the free-water-refilling station. It is possible to rent a scooter at the hostel and book sightseeing-tours. If you want to explore the island and region I highly recommend to rent a scooter. There was a mosquito net in our bungalow.

Stayed here for a few nights. Staff were friendly and helpful. I liked the style of the huts and how spaced out they were. I stayed in the dorm. Dorm was ok. Infested with ants (can’t be helped). I wasn’t told that I could have a mosquito net (not a huge problem). Food and drinks lovely at a good price.
Bathrooms clean.
Countryside tour wasn’t operating due to problems with the company they use. Was told they could help me book one, however no one got back to me. I ended up booking with a company in Alona.
My first night, the kitchen closed due to an “emergency meeting”.
The place is out of the way. If you don’t ride a scooter, then I would suggest to stay elsewhere. However, the reception can organise a tricycle at a reasonable price.
They have lots of animals on the property which was the main seller point for me.

We stayed for 4 nights in a private bungalow. During our stay the staff was super friendly and helpful and the manager EJ very accomodating. The private rooms are simple, clean and very cute with a little veranda in the front. The bathrooms and toilets are clean as is the whole property! The restaurant has a delicious veggie burger and the food and beverages are fairly priced. There is a convenience store on the highway for any other need and white beach is just 15min walk away. We enjoyed our stay here! Highly recommended!

Uriel will make your entire stay, ESPECIALLY the guide you get with checkin! I stayed @ Coco Farm 4 years ago in Jan 2020, and many things have been upgraded and added. For example the dorms host smaller groups (6 pax now versus 14 pax), which is great for meeting others. The breakfast has changed a bit and is now buffet style (I do still miss Filipino brekkie), but there’s coffee, tea, & water available 24/7. They have also added some dorm pods with AC that are brand new. You get use of a guest kitchen, beers are from 50 PHP @ happy hour, family dinners every night which are excellent for meeting people, complimentary 15-minute scooter lessons plus you can rent a scooter here, and laundry close by! A few restaurants are within 10-15 minute walking distance.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Stayed 2nights, ended up staying for 10nights. The hosts are very nice and very helpful and the common area is very inviting and social. They even have this advanced qr code system for the hostel. The rooms are clean and nice with fans. Would definitely come back!!

Upon arrival, the place didn't offer much in terms of sights or attractions. However, being a nature enthusiast, I still appreciated the natural surroundings, which led me to rate it 4 out of 5 stars. Whether or not I'll return will largely depend on whether they introduce any new additions or enhancements to the experience.

Stayed in an 8 bed male dorm on this rustic retreat. At only PHP350 a night including breakfast you are getting a lot for your cash. You have to be ok with a bit of outdoor living as it's wooden huts and cold open air showers but it was just what I was looking for.
The value of this place is not the quality of the amenities though it's the serene surroundings and friendly and laid back staff who can't do enough to help. Perfect place for a relaxing few days and only a short trike ride or jeepney from the busy Alona Beach (too far to walk). White beach is nice though and only a 1km walk if you want something quieter.
Massive communal dining and chill out area as well which encourages the social side and I just stayed on site each evening having a beer with my fellow travellers.
Highly recommended you pay it a visit!

I love that place. My friend wanted to leave earlier to go to the more crowded places, but I found Bohol Coco farm so relaxing I never wanted to leave. I loved it so much. The food, the cottage, the whole area was fantastic. The owner were so nice to us and the staff too.
Bohol Coco Farm will always be remembered as one of the best places I have ever been!
I hope they did not get affected by the earthquake.

For European/American tourists, you will find this place exotic and tropically beautiful. You will love the garden and the leaves-bungalows there. The staff are very friendly and willing to help when you need. Very nice restaurant especially when you sit there at night - I loved the lighting there.
For Asian tourists, this place look like a typical countryside house that your grandparents used to live in, which is not so new to me. I can see the effort of keeping this place natural and eco-friendly.
And the one thing that all of us will love is the toilets+bathroom are clean! However, no hot shower.
Fast wifi (not accessible in your room tho), free breakfast, kittens everywhere.
This hostel locate 1km from the White Beach which is quiet and relaxing, it's a wonderful backup plan if you want to escape the chaotic Alona beach.

+1
Bohol Coco Farm is run by a Pilipino family and most of the guests I met there were European travellers which, as a solo traveller, was nice and comforting.
I stayed in a female dorm which cost me 350PHP for one bed for one night. Alternatively you can book a hut to yourself (sleeps 2) for 800pesos.
They have an awesome restaurant on site {recommend the Coco Pancit £1.29 and the coconut pudding bites 25p} and you also get free WIFI {it's really good} and free breakfast {super yum} included in your stay. Bohol Coco Farm have motorbikes for hire at: 1-3 hours 250PHP | 4-8 hours 350PHP | 24 hours 400PHP.

You could walk but I say 20-25mins we took a motorcycle taxi I can't remember the exact amount but it didn't cost much money.
Hi Grisdelin,
Yes it can be arranged. I had a contact person before we arrived at Tagbilaran Port. Trike cost 300php but I think you can ask for a 50php discount. His name is Ramil 09213732462 or you may opt for car rentals which is more expensive. He can also help you to arrange a countryside tour for an affordable rate. He is very nice person just mention my name Ether friend of Ann General. This is if you are on a budget and always on the go and not picky :)
I hope it helps.
Ether
