I had a great time at Veraneant resort. The housekeeper was very friendly always accommodating our requests. She assisted us to organise tours and transport. I love their swimming pool and the bedroom was clean, with air conditioner and shower with hot water. I strongly recommend this resort.

This place was friendly, nice pool area and landscape, comfortable bungalows. The area wasn't within walking of Alona Beach but the free shuttle at night times was good. The closest beach, Momo beach is ok and we found the snorkelling spot a little further north at Tangnan (with the cliff diver) was fantastic. The staffs English isn't fantastic, so tricky to get travel tips. Generally good atmosphere and relaxing place for a family holiday.

So, their breakfast, minimal but nice. The area: far from the beach, but they had everyday free shuttle service to the beach and back, also lovely. Room and bathroom: clean and cozy Pool area: clean and nice looking Food in the restaurant: tasty and cheap Surrounding: nothing special, but well connected to the center. Other guests: mostly families and kids Recetion: smiley and friendly, with good English P.s. the last two pics are not the hotel area, but neighborhood

This is definitely not the most impressive and not the most beautiful resort/hotel we have ever had but this petite resort gave the same satisfaction, comfort and relaxed feeling we all wanted. A very quiet place surrounded with trees and plants... very peaceful. It is our last night in our Cebu-Bohol Trip. We arrived at the resort by past 6pm and our flight going back to Manila will be 8pm the next day. We asked them how much they are going to charge us if we extend our stay beyond the standard check out time of 12 noon. Unexpectedly, they allowed us to stay until 6pm for free. We are a group of 16 and we had 4 family rooms. All are situated a very few steps away from the pool, spacious with 2 double beds for each unit. We all had good sleep and felt well-rested after 3 whole days of exploring Cebu and Bohol with short sleeps (very early call times). Furniture, bathrooms, towels, swimming pool and restaurant are very clean. We are all very comfortable with this resort's facilities and amenities. Not as complete as the other expensive hotels but all fine with us, we had what we needed. The swimming pool is open for 24hours. The staffs are friendly, helpful and very accommodating to our crazy family. Breakfast is good. They have a shuttle which can used for free on transfer to/from Alona Beach from 5-9pm. Because they allowed us to stay longer, we got to enjoy Alona beach and their very lovely swimming pool. In addition, they arranged for our airport transfer for free. We are very satisfied and very happy with this resort. Thank you very much Veraneante Resort... We will be back. :)

Will not eat here again...Not staying in the resort. Popped in for evening meal in the restaurant. The menu is varied but pricey. Both myself and my partner ordered a penne pasta dish and iced tea. The tea took 35 min to arrive and about 40 mins for meal..pasta was spaghetti (was told that's what they had made even tho not what we ordered) with an extremely sweet bolognese sauce on it an ok chicken breast (no parmasen /garlic bread arrived until I went to ask) all in all a very disappointing meal that we could not eat and that cost us 700 peso (for us very expensive)

it is true that the resort is few km far from downtown, but that's what makes the price accessible. The resort is very small, with very few bungalows but a huge swimming pool. Great if you want to hire bikes and see other parts of panglao. Nice breakfast included and staff really lovely. Rooms have aircon and are really clean, with service done daily. Definitely recommended!

The resort is in a nice and quite place. The swimmingpool was amazing :). The room was big and clean. we slept very nice. Wifi was slow in the room. But okay in the restaurant and around the swimmingpool. The resort is bit remote and you need a tuktuk to get to alonabeach/restaurants. They have a van and they bring you at 5 pm to alona beach and get you at 9pm. The staff are really nice and helpfull.

The resort is located a bit away from the prime resort beaches and bars but is in a well-lit, very safe almost rural location. So, it does not try to compete in terms of being the best or most expensive place but offers an honest, good value stay in a tropical setting, away from the madding crowd. The service from Robert and all the crew was prompt and helpful, always with a smile. The included breakfast, while basic in scope, was quick to arrive and provided enough variation to keep us happy for our 8-day stay. The general menu provides a neat balance between Asian, Filipino and simple European cuisine, well priced, and always well prepared. Momo Beach is actually only about 1km easy walk away, and this is a little known place to visit for those days when you don't want to join the crowds at Alona Kew. There is a nice pool for the end of a day touring or diving. The staff are happy to help with arranging the hire of motor scooters, taxis, tours, as well as providing occasional free shuttles to the Alona area. Provided you are prepared to accept that this resort is not right in the thick of the social whirl, the Veraneante offers a homely atmosphere - and WooWoo the little black Pug is the star of the show!

Nice pool, clean rooms and friendly staff! The trip to Alona beach is 20 mins and costs 200 pesos - we were mislead on the website so this wasnt ideal for us - but this made for a quiet night. Breakfast was good but basic, but overall for what we paid, it was a great one night stopover
