We 12 ppl stayed for 02Nights, really a memorable stay. Just sea facing resort. Rooms are quite specious, very very good ambiance of the lobby, staff is very helpful. Breakfast spread was too good. Really loved this property..... Undoubtedly love to stay aging....
Very nice hotel, with a good location, good food, and expensive drinks 🍻 rooms are very clean and tidy staff is also very attentive to the guest. The breakfast buffet is delicious and has many choices, and the rooms are 100% super nice and big.
Upon our arrival for 4 days we felt as we were vauled guests. Stroling thu the lobby was wonderful. Koi fish ponds with lovely koi feeding really is a good vibe for a weary traveler!, our ocean veiw room was perfect large and a great choice Very nice indeed This hotel has a wonderful reasurant buffet breakfast. I every day i was able to get a custom ommellet thanks to the sweet filipina staff you can too! Musice live every night. Beach is great with boat rides right there. Safe. Frendly ans yes a good value. I will be back and we plan on booking my wifes fammily in 4 months . Do your self a favor. Chose this fine hotel and enjoy bohole as we did!,
Got a free room upgrade with a great sea view room. location is very quiet which we like for us to relax. the beach is just wow! and not crowded. front office staff, f&b & housekeeping are amazing and extremely helpful. kudos to all the staff!. This resort is highly recommended..
Overall experience was excellent. The pool, beachfront setting, ambiance, dining & mostly staff hospitality were outstanding. That's the reason why it's our third time here. We highly recommend this place.
The hotel itself is impressive. Very relaxing, open, great view. I can’t believe that there’s such hotel sitting in an island with its own beach. Not populated, and quiet area. Great service! On our arrival, one of the connecting rooms we occupied had Molly, musty odor. We complained. After all the discussions, Delia, the evening supervisor, did a service recovery by transferring us to upgraded rooms with ocean view, which is more expensive than the previous rooms which were overlooking the damping area. This hotel priced their rooms according to the view. That was a really good upgrade. Their breakfast buffet is unbeatable. So many choices, and they change menu every day. Their restaurant is very relaxing, open air, and again, not many visitors or guest. It’s overlooking the blue swimming large swimming pool and the ocean. All hotel staff are very friendly. The beach, however, is not as clean as the Caribbean beaches. The ocean water brings in seaweeds and dead fishes at the shore. Don’t expect to see sea shells there as well. In every morning walk, 5-6am, there’s this female employee who tries to clean the shore for an enjoyable walk for the guests. Of which, some actually try to enjoy swimming in the afternoon. The beach is shallow. And not remarkably enjoyable to go to. There are boats parked in the area. The infinite swimming pool is the best relaxing perk of the hotel. It’s great for family with children as well. It has a kiddy section. They have bar serving drinks and a lifeguard monitoring guests. Island hopping is a whole day activity in which we rented a boat which gave us ample time to snorkel. There is this Virgin island that we stopped by and just took pictures, and another island where they offer snorkeling. Each guest pays 100 pesos just to stop by, and additional fee if you snorkel. There are vendors in that island but don’t mind them, if you don’t need to buy. The hotel offers sight seeing by car. Price is doable. We have this Bobby, hotel employee driver, who was really good. He told us historíes of every places he brought us. He has a great sense of humor. I told him that I will mention his name in my review, because he’s good with his English, and pun jokes at times. He’s quiet, helpful and not intrusive. We invited him for lunch, but maintained his professionalism. We gave him generous tip and asked for him every time. However, on our last day, one of us forgot the passport in the safe and we have to go back. We had an understanding that their service is paid by the hour. The ride to the airport is only 15 mins. So we were planning to pay him generous tip, but he asked for 800 pesos. The transportation fee is usually collected by the hotel. So we had no choice but to hand him 800 plus tip. This actually made us disappointed and brought our respect to Bobby down. At the end of the day, I am hoping that the hotel management will read this review and justify or confirm that Bobby, the van driver, reported the 800 pesos honestly to the hotel. Last word to other visitors, if you like sea urchins, around 4pm, walk at the shore and you’ll see a few locals opening and putting sea urchins in the jar. My sister didn’t like to buy because of sanitary issue. One boat owner said, you can ask the vendors to cut the shell and you can remove the meat by yourself. So cheap!!!! I love Buhol! No traffic, roads are paved.…
We stayed for one week and we are still delighted about this resort. Starting from the receptionists, waiters and waitresses, bartenders and all the staff working there we can say they are all really friendly and professionals. The food was amazing, not the typical hotel/resort where they serve average food, here was really good, excellent food. We have to mention Philippe from the entertainment section who was so kind with our 2 years old daughter and he earned her trust since the first moment they played together. Really professional and excellent predisposition to attend not only our daughter but all the kids there. The only thing we can say it can be improved is the cleaning from the bedroom as we requested a 3rd towel for our kid the first night and it never arrived and two days they forgot to change our towels but we all do mistakes and nothing to complain about it. Again, we are so thankful to their staff and for sure when we come back to Bohol we will stay here again.…
We stayed 2 nights and 3 days with my big group. The rooms are very clean and elegant. Food and Amenities are exellent, the staff were very good and friendly What more i can say? Surely we will come back!
This is my first travel after the pandemic and I am so glad that we were bought to Bohol. I loved my room and the welcome amenities. it was so Filipino. I am amazed how they remember my name and on my second day, they remember what I ordered for my drink. wow! there were so many guests in the breakfast area but how come they still remembered what I ordered? Kudos to the Restaurant waiters on the breakfast area. the Boholano Chocolate Drink was super good! I love the personal touch I and my team felt in this resort, it was exceptional. I will defenetely be back to bring my family before the year ends.
It would have been an overall better experience if not for: 1) the horrible encounter with the unbranded toothpaste they provided with the toiletries which gave a burning sensation to my friend's throat that could have been worse.. thank God it did not cause an emergency, 2) the unusual unavailability of the spa services at their facility.. no rooms available but only massage provided in-room without a massage table; I tried again for the 2nd night of stay but after getting a reservation, it got canceled last minute because they claimed a water pipe broke and caused flooding, 3) the insensitive substitution of an ingredient for a Filipino cuisine where they offered pork adobo with saging na saba (plantains) in their menu, but when the food arrived after ordering, the kitchen used pineapple instead of the plantains without alerting us beforehand, 4) the beach umbrellas (3 or 4 only) were not all setup in the morning, and not enough beach chairs/side tables, no beach volleyball net, sand was not combed enough for sharp rocks or shells, 5) the ongoing construction of their swimming pool which was a disappointment and a nuisance that even as we were eating breakfast there was a lot of noise from the drilling or whatnot going on, and some smoke or sand/soil particles where getting blown in the air just next to the open restaurant, 6) the bathtub in the room was clogged or the drain was not opening. At least the people who worked the concierge/ front desk and restaurant were kind and patient enough, and I didn't see any bugs crawling or flying about in the whole resort. The food was ok, and the alcohol was present at least and not watered down in the Miami Vice I requested, eventhough I had to explain what it was. The hotel reviews and ratings were misleading and inflated.…
