We are new to Bohol, and at the moment we have 6 rooms. More will be opened up soon. We are trying to provide a 4 star atmosphere while being reasonably priced. Come enjoy the serenity of our place, while still only 6 to 8 minutes from most amenities. Including, night life, restaurants, beaches, cave swimming, island hopping, and shopping.

Superbe établissement, nous y avons séjourné deux nuits en janvier, le propriétaire et le personnel était au petit soin et très serviable. l'emplacement est très bien situé au calme, les chambres sont très propres, confortables, literie au top la salle de bain est très bien équipée et très propre, une grande douche à l'italienne avec eau chaude. les espaces communs sont très agréables. Nous avons passé 1 mois au Philippines et c'est l'un des meilleurs établissement que nous ayons fait.

Great location with a spectacular pool shaded by mango trees. We spent three wonderful weeks enjoying the sun and exploring Panglao and Bohol islands sites on our Moped. The room was beautiful with a huge bathroom. They made us feel like home and treated us like family.

The rooms are well supplied and extremely comfortable. The TVs, equipped with Netflix and Youtube, and perfect for relaxing. The pool is a definite highlight, lighting up at night. The hosts are extremely welcoming. The location provides peace and quiet.

We stayed at this resort before it was fully finished and the review is from that perspective and can only truly speak to the amenities and facilities that we are able to enjoy – and those we enjoyed very much! First the “hidden” part of Hidden Jewel. This may refer to the location which is nearer the center of island. While there is a small cluster of restaurants and Sari Sari stores within walking distance, to get to Alona or another beach you will need to arrange transportation. However, if you’re looking for some secluded peace and quiet (and I think restful sleep may be challenging closer to Alona) then this is the place for you. Now for the “jewel” part. The suites are simply stunning - all high end and beautify finished. Very specious main room with a comfortable bed and stylized ceiling and light fixtures. Lots of lockable storage and a large flat screen smart tv. The bathroom had a cascading fountain sink and the courageously tiled stand-up shower (great pressure and hot water) was big enough to hold a small dinner party. The suites are first class and five stars. As is the pool. It has several sections of different depths and very nice lighting after dark. The filtration system is apparently some super expensive piece of German engineering that relies on UV light and only minimal amount of chlorine for sterilization. The kids loved it. There are also the parts that were yet to be finished during our stay. The restaurant and lobby will definitely be specious, and if they follow the style of the suites then it will also be all about tasteful and high end. I know that the owners were doing a lot of research and experimenting for the menu, and that staff were being trained in customer service (something that is overall badly missing in Philippines) weeks in advance. I understand that the resort is planning on having super customer service be its main secret sauce. A few things were missing in the rooms during out stay, but are on the way – mini fridge, safe, cable for the tv’s, phone, clock. The WiFi in the rooms was spotty at times but a signal booster was being arranged. There are also extensive plans for landscaping. Overall, I would definitely recommend Hidden Jewel especially if you don’t want to be too close to the noisy hassle and bussle of Alona or Tag City, but do want a comfortable stay with high quality around you.…

This place is very well constructed. 5 star rooms. Very comfortable bed, Smart TV w/ Netflix and Youtube. Wireless internet. Bathrooms were exceptional, with walk in shower and multiple shower settings. Restaurant food was delicious, both Western and Filipino. Pool is large and lights up at night cycling different colors. Very beautiful and refreshing. I was in there every day. The resort is minutes away from ocean and great nightlife. Lots to do all nearby. First time in Philippines. Had a blast. Will definitely come back.
